I'm currently on the The Passionate Duo and I'm on the 9th task, which is a searching for an item task. It's probably been a good 7 hours now, and I still haven't found the item. When I hover over the task, it doesn't give me a description of what I'm supposed to do and just gives me the description of what an exploration is. It also doesn't have a notification on it. I'm not sure but it doesn't seem normal.
