So, I'm none too familiar with introduction threads anywhere, so I'm just going to follow this rough outline from the guide stickied at the top of this forum, seems pretty helpful.

I tend to go by Perth on the internet. It was a name of one of my main roleplaying characters on Guild Wars 2 and after people calling me Perth enough online I was like "Yeah, this works!" On that note, I'm huge into MMO gaming. Not so much into single player games, but I'll pick up Dead Space or Fire Emblem or something once in a blue moon. Currently, I'm playing World of Warcraft now that Legion is out.

I really love Pokemon, always had since I was a little kid. I first got into it all with a copy of Sapphire from a used games store in my tiny Wisconsin town, before switching to Emerald (because he'll yeah Rayquaza). Before I knew it I was a bit of a min-maxer by total accident, spam resetting and hunting for female Ralts with Modest personalities because at the time I thought "It'd be really nice for a beautiful Gardevoir to be modest!" I never liked having the same personality in the party and ended up going for good personalities for my team. Yay, pickiness!

That being obvious now, Gardevoir is my favourite Pokemon. Skitty is a close second because of how much time and love I put into catching and raising mine as a kid. Milotic is pretty darn fancy, too.

In the real world, I don't really do much outside of full time training at the moment. I live in Chicago and work as a dog groomer. Loved it at first, but a three hour commute to and from training at a different different location slays me. I get a lot of free time between trains, which brings me here.

I'm entirely new to this site, but I learn quickly enough with things, so I don't have any questions at the moment. Hoping to make some friends here and just generally enjoy my time browsing :D
