Lugia can pwn Ho-oh in battle; but Ho-oh is a lot sexier. So I obviously went with the more aesthetically pleasing one.

It's hard to say... My brother and I each had Gold and Silver, and we chose to each get the mascot from our game. I caught Lugia, he caught Ho-Oh. Ho-Oh is prettier, I think, but the memories of playing Silver with Lugia... I'll vote Ho-Oh, since I generally choose favorite Pokemon based on how they look, but it's more fun to play with Lugia.

Uh yeah, went with Ho-oh... See, I prefer Lugia in most ways, but Ho-oh is actually better looking, it can't be helped. I don't usually go for colourful pokes, but Ho-oh is just sexy like that. But I do prefer Lugia in other ways >_>

I prefer Lugia over Ho-oh. I love its appearance more and the fact that it can fly and swim through the deepest oceans. It seems so magnificently mysterious.
