So, I already posted this on discord but I thought I would post it here too. It is just a thought about the lore in regards to users who just don't come back and their Mon.
So, regarding people who havent been there in a long time, most often they place their pokemon (inside their balls) in a secure location or give them to a special organiazition who takes care of them but some still keep their mon walking around outside
and just leave to never return
then the organisation tries finding their balls to call them back and place them in a secure location and hang an letter on the persons door telling them this and wehre their mon is/are stored
sometimes though the balls cannot be located and the pokemon are taken to a special shelter wich takes care of them
btw this only happens if the owner has made it clear that this is ok
but this organisation is very trustworthy
so most trainers said that this is ok
and this also happens only if the person wasnt there for more than two weeks
and the mon are spotted walking around outside without any sign of the owner
The organisation consists of trainers who are being paid to help care for the Pokemon, this is why we gain points from clicking.
That is also what the pc is most of the time, as not many people have enough money to buy fancy storage devices, many people just place their Pokémon in the pokeballs in a safe and often hidden location
