So I was wondering about 2 things.

Does interacting with users level your Pokémon faster? Or do they just level at their own pace? OR am I relying on other to interact with them for them to level up?

Trinkets. I'm guessing they are just collectables? I don't mind if that is the case, but my new life goal will to be to get as many as I possibly can.

You are relying on other people to interact with your Pokemon to level them up. But interacting with others does help to encourage them to interact with you in return, since mutual interactions reward both players with Pass Orbs.

Trinkets are just collectibles with no gameplay function.
