RAMEN ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!! my fav flavor is CREAMY CHICKEN!!!
I *LOVE* ramen! <333! I like the chicken flavored one! But I add extra things to my ramen to make it extra tasty. Like two slices of american cheese, a little lemon juice and some garlic! <333! Makes it nice, creamy, and CHEESEY! <333! Cheesey Chicken Ramen!
I must say, I do not enjoy roman... However, it's cheap and plenty to eat. My favorite would have to be beef.
Ramen yummy
YAY PEOPLE RESPONDED ramen might be cheap but i think it still tates good. someone told me i was all ready for collage cuse i like ramen lol. even though i only in 10th grade
I don't really like it. Maybe that's just because I ate way too much of it a few years ago lol I really want to try fresh made ramen though, the type you get in a Japanese restaurant. I bet it's delicious.
Ah, I don't care for the pre-packaged garbage. It's so high in sodium and bad for you.
I prefer real ramen, freshly prepared in a Japanese kitchen with a side of sushi or sashimi.
how you get real ramen ? cuse idk where to get some the ramen i make from the package is made just right though
I quite like ramen - actual ramen, not the prepacked stuff you get in stores. I get it as a treat when me and my friends go to the Japanese restaurant downtown, and I have to share it with my best friend because the bowls are so BIG! We have chopstick fights over who gets the last noodle or slice of pork.
My favourite has got to be Yamamori ramen, which is the restaurant's speciality and has chicken, pork, prawns, tofu and veggies in it. We never eat the veggies. And it also comes with egg in it but we always ask them to take the egg out because it makes the soup taste horrible.
We sometimes order Chilli Chicken ramen and see who can eat the most chillis without taking a drink! XD
XD when the menu CLEARLY said Chilli Chicken ramen ... we have to do that again, just orger a huge bowl of CCR between us and make everyone eat the chillis, and film the reactions!
totally that will be awesome
I've only tried one flavor of ramen...
I didn't like it
But chicken flavor ramen sound tasty haha
man now i really want ramen from a restrant...
I adore ramen, I make my own, I make my own stock everything. I just love the stuff. I just want to get my hands on a jar of menma (pickled bamboo shoots if your unaware) and then my life of ramen would be complete.
I think..yeah I still have some stock and veg in the fridge *Squees*
Only when it's cooked right.
I havent eated ramen so i dont know do i like it or not...
I might like it.
I was looking ramen pictures and now im hungry... I might go get something to eat before going to sleep '
lol i'm going to eat at some1s house so i gotta wait ta eat.
I do like ramen ^^ It's not that healthy though.. but... it's delicious and I eat it anyway~! I like beef and seafood ramen the best.
Of course I like ramen! Whether it's the real stuff or the instant stuff, it doesn't matter.
My favorite flavor is Roast Chicken, has anyone else had that flavor and liked it?
yay ramen! Chicken and beef are awesome. too bad i know of a restaurant that makes ramen
yay ramen! Chicken and beef are awesome. too bad i know of a restaurant that makes ramen
WHERE!!!!!!! restrant make RAMEN lol
i've huaredc that real ramen is batter than the kind that is packed i would love ta try some
I'd like to try the restaurant ramen too. Sounds really good, though I do love the packaged ramen... just chicken-flavored though. My mom and sister always makes me make it for them, only because I make it nice and slimy. XD
I love Ramen. I make sure to keep a supply of it nearby for when I get hungry.
I love pretty much anything involving noodles that doesn't also have cheese. I like to put shichimi togarashi (Japanese red pepper seasoning) on instant ramen. I like the restaurant kind too, especially soy sauce ramen with extra pork.
To me its only good when I haven't had it in awhile.
Ramen is tasty when you haven't had it in a while. But I'd really like to try authentic or restaurant quality ramen instead my homemade one. But no one seems to sell ramen.
I prefer Campbell's.
lol i like all soups but i like ramen the most YUM.
Beef ramen is so delicious. *-* I also like the instant cupped ramen which has over 1k sodium. Unhealthy, but yummy.
I'm a bad girl and have never had "real" ramen, but I like the instant stuff. Beef is my favorite, but I also like chicken and oriental flavors. Shrimp and creamy chicken are horrible.
Sometimes I make what I call "spiffy" or "gourmet" ramen -- I add toppings like cheese, lunch meat, shrooms, and other stuff to the soup and noodles. Makes for a more filling and satisfying meal than just the plain ramen.
Also, never eat ramen as a major part of your diet for more than three days in a row. Trust me on this one.
I've never ate ramen xD but some kind of it ;/ Maybe i will get a chance to try it ;p
I've only had real ramen once, and it was awesome.
Most of the time I just eat the prepackaged stuff. I do like to "customize" my ramen and add things like soy sauce and stuff to it though.
The chicken flavor is really gross imho; beef and oriental are my favorites.
lol we all have likes and dislikes
XD but i do like ramen.
LOVE IT!!!
I love chicken ramen with mixed frozen veggies.
Might I ask what this Ramen stuff actually is? I never heard of it. Is it some kind of US specialty?
Ramen is awesome! I love it! The only time i get tired of it is when Im sick and it's all I can eat xD
Mmmmmm, ramen is amazing. I like the shrimp and chicken kind... actually, I like all of them except for the creamy chicken. I accidently opened up a package of ramen thinking it was chicken.... and it wasn't. x3
I love eett. <3
I once lived off of eating just ramen for like.. a month.
Ended up losing 14 pounds in the process. XD
Shrimp, Chicken and Pork are my favvies.
ooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhh yyyyyyeaaaaaaaaaah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I really enjoy fresh Ramen. There is a Ramen shop in Denver called Oshima Ramen that is fantastic. Fresh noodles and stock made everyday.
I've been trying my hand at improving Top Ramen, and have found the best way to start is to toss that little flavor packet. Then, add 1 cup water, 1/4 cup soy sauce, and 1/4 cup Aju-Mirin to the pot and let it start to heat. Throw in some forzen veggies and let the water come to a boil. Add in the noodles and 1/2 cup cold water and bring back to a boil. Once it boils the second time, remove from the heat and serve. Adding the cold water towards the end effects the noodles texture, and I find it to be quite enjoyable.
cool i wish i lived in dever now lol.
I do. I had it for lunch today, actually. XD
I love to eat the packaged stuff, the cup stuff, and the restaraunt stuff. <3 At this one mall they have a place calle Bentozushi that's just amazing on the sushi front and the soup front. <3 Best ramen EVER. <3 Well, that I've had from a restaraunt. ;D Packaged stuff my favorite has to be either Miso or Red Bean Curd and cup stuff is Roast Beef. <333 Man I want some right now.
I've tried a couple of bowls at my local Wagamama's and I didn't like them. Maybe I'm not eating the right type?
Apart from said restaurant I haven't seen any places in Perth that sells ramen so I don't think I'm going to encounter the dish very often anyway. *shrug*
i LOVE ramen...i eat it at least once every few days XD
To this day I will never understand the reasoning behind disliking ramen.
It's just so wonderful. >w<
Nope. I may be weird but I just don't care for it. ;/
I can't say I'm that big a fan. Add me to the weirdos group.
I grew up on instant ramen. o .o
I usually make instant ramen, then add whatever I find in the fridge.
Chicken, steak, cabbage, carrot, onion, egg.
Whatever looks like it'll make it taste better.
I usually buy the different chicken flavors.
Beef flavoured is my fave, but I'll also eat the chicken and pork flavours.
As a non-ramen lover, I find ramen fans to be annoying.
It seems like whenever anything pasta, noodles, or whatever becomes mentioned their eyes light up in glee, they go make it regardless if they just ate or what time of day it is, and they spaz about whatever anime ramen reminds them of.
Although, this is worst case scenario and I've only met one person like this.
Beef and Chicken flavor is pretty good.
I love ramen especially chicken and shrimp flavors. I find it extra yummy when you add stuff to it.
I absolutely love ramen! I crave it a lot, and really regret not going to an outdoor style Ramen Shop while I was in Japan. My favourite place to get it stateside would be Yotsuba, but I really prefer making my own. I usually just stick to the traditional miso-pork base. I once made the ramen soup stock from scratch, but that was way more effort than it was worth, in terms of cost O_o
My ramen usually includes:
Pork slices
Boiled egg pan fried in soy sauce
Green onion
Egg noodles
Those white mushrooms... they're long and small, I can never remember the name of them
Sliced bamboo shoots
Red pepper flakes
Bonito flakes, occasionally
My only dislike of ramen is people who like instant ramen. I'm sorry to all you people on here, but it just really urks me when people freak out over how good Top Ramen or something is, when it tastes like nothing but salt. It bugs me even more when people brag that they eat it all the time, considering it's really bad for you. I've had some friends who relied too heavily on eating ramen in college, and ended up really sick due to malnutrition. So yeah, it kind of strikes close to the heart on this issue.
Ramen.... ~w~
I love Chicken flavored Ramen! I've been eating it for years X3
Let me guess, you're a narutard?
But yes I like ramen, not because of the horrid anime called naruto, because I have been eating that stuff years before the anime even came out in Japan. My favorite flavor would be beef.
Same here. I had it when I was really young, then forgot about it and remembered it when Naruto was raging in the US. I haven't eaten any in year. My favorite flavor would have to be Pork.
Chicken Ramen With Eggs ;D NOM NOM NOM
lol XD
*lifts head from a bowl* What?
*drools* I eat ramen at least three times a week. I've been eating ramen since I was a little girl.
I used to eat it all the time, and then I looked at the sodium and it freaked me out. lol I still eat it occasionally, though, cuz it's just so good! lol Any of the chicken flavors are my favorite.
no but i really want to try it
i love the oriental flavored ramen!!! <3
o.O What's oriental flavor ramen?
And I love Tonkotsu Ramen! (the real stuff. Had several iterations of it when I was in Japan, but haven't had any ramen nearly as good since returning to the States.)
...I like the instant stuff, too, but it's quite a different animal.
I don't eat it too often but I do like it.
I love raman I don't have a fav but I like them all.
I love Ramen. Speaking of which, I'm going to go make some now <.<
Ramen is a wonderfully easy to make food, especially when you're a lazy college kid who doesn't feel like cooking xD!
Ah ramen. I do like it. It doesn't put a dent in my wallet whatsoever and it's quick and easy to make. Doesn't taste too bad for being so cheap either.
Sadly I've never tried fresh ramen from a restaurant. I'll have to do that someday
My favorite ramen flavor is beef, it taste so good if its strong tasting enough.
lolz cant get enough!!!
Chicken ramen is dabomb
Ramen is da best, epecially the original, fresh, chicken flavor! ^^ *starts to get hungry*
i love ramen. i eat it only when i'm sick, though, because of the high sodium content. my used-to-be-friend showed me ramen when i was over her house and we were hungry. liked it ever since.
i eat ramen every day.
I Love RAMEN!! though high in sodium or i'd eat it every day
Yes indeed I like ramen! Has anyone here ever had the pleasure of eating real, honest-to-God ramen, like what they serve at restaurants? It's amazing stuff... just thinking about it is making my mouth water! Good thing my birthday's coming up--I can go get some with my best friend on that day!
Sadly, I never tried it =( But I would REALLY love to! ^w^
ramens ok i guess
I like that stuff, Cooke it up crush some chips (Dorities work awesome) mix it up in there and some shredded cheese it's just awesome it's a very versatile food for me I can mix it with just about anything
Sorry DP I lagged a little
I LOVE ramen! My favorite flavors are Pork and Creamy chicken. I dislike the one with mushrooms.
YAY!!! since I'm Korean, I love ramen!! especially HOT ones >____<
I never eat ramen before but i'd like to try some..
I've never tried ramen. :|
Chicken and beef sound the most appealing so far.
why is this even a poll, I LOVE RAMEN

I'm merging all of those.
Where is the "LOVE ramen" option? ;v;
Singaporeans love ramen xD SO YES
I really liked instant ramen when I was younger, to the point where my mom made it a habit to buy a specific kind: oriental flavor just stuck with me. These days, I don't eat it anymore. Maybe because I don't have any proper pots...or bowls to eat it in... Curses!
Who doesn't like ramen?
I like Ramen. Don't eat it as much as others might (I eat it once every three months or so). I actually prefer the instant ramen-in-a-cup rather than the ramen that comes in square form. The only ramen I've ever had is the Chicken flavor, but I've been interested to try the Creamy Chicken or the Shrimp. Maybe.
Guys, I have an awful confession...
... I have never eaten ramen.
*Is dead*
I know Asda and Tesco sell proper ramen though, so I REALLY should give it a go sometime xD Am I missing out?!
Wait wait wait by 'ramen' are we talking about instant noodles? Rectangular/circular, comes in a box/packet and is cooked by addition of hot water/boiling in a pot, often cheap and eaten by Poor Starving Students?
Because I thought we were talking about non-instant ramen. Which is fantabulous. Tonkotsu, shio, shoyu, miso: if you have not tried actual proper ramen before, go do it. Now. Before 7 days are up. This stuff is heavenly. I'm drooling. I personally favour tonkotsu (which is a richer soup base) over the others, though shio and shoyu are tasty too.
Where instant noodles are concerned: I like them. I am a Poor Starving Student. Curry instant noodles cooked until mostly dry (so the soup-sauce is thick). Seafood-flavoured Maggie noodles with seafood stick, crack an egg in in the last 2 minutes (while at a boil). Korean Shin Ramyun: spicy broth, and noodles with an interesting firmness to the bite.
I adore ramen! The shops here mostly sell the chicken ones which is lucky because that's the one I like XD
It really depends on the flavor.
Creamy chicken is indeed a good ramen flavor, though :)))
But my family usually eats beef or chicken flavor.
Ramen please xD
Not so fond of the packaged Americanized Ramen as I once was. I barely was actually with the memory of it being a popular menu item when I was in daycare and minus the broth. I'd briefly taken a partial fondness after discovering what it was like with the broth.
Now authentic Japanese Ramen made and served in a restaurant and is flavored by real meat, egg and spices rather than powder is amazing! Though I wish the portions were smaller since I am not one to eat the entirety of a large serving such as the one it comes in. We have a ton of Ramen specialty restaurants around here, not long ago one after the other just kept appearing. Not that I'm complaining.
I absolutely adore eating ramen, personally.
All day everyday.
I LOVE ramen! I can't eat meat and I'm allergic to shrimp so I have to scour the stores I go to for veggie ramen.
instant ramen is good in moderation, i get tired of it if i eat it too much. sadly, i haven't eaten actual ramen in a restaurant yet
I've eaten ramen on quite a few occasions. It's great, & I love it. I especially like the chicken flavor when it's dry, but all of the flavors I've had thus far are pretty good.
There are so many different flavours! Don't like shrimp? Try beef! Or oriental!
They taste so different, it's hard to tell it's the same food!
I love ramen!
Hahaha, living here in Japan, if you don't like ramen it's kind of blasphemous. :P
I've gone to a few ramen shops here around the country, and there's lots of different kinds. The two most popular kinds in Japan, and they're very simple, are just miso ramen and "shoyu"(soy) ramen. Every restaurant has at least those two flavors.
Though last Tuesday, I went to a small ramen shop in my town(and one of the workers there is a high school classmate of mine, but he has a crush on me so it was kind of nerve-wracking eating there) and it was really good. c: It was small, but a lot of people in the town say it's famous and really good. ...It was really good~
Instant ramen is my last resort food. I used to actually like it as a teen, but now... meh.
I absolutely love 'real' ramen, though! My hometown has two places that serve good ramen. My university town doesn't, so I've had to resort to making it myself. The only downside is that I don't have the heart to really slurp in front of my flatmates...
Oh gosh, I super duper love Ramen!
Nope, not one bit. It's a bargain, but I personally find the taste to be mediocre and unappealing. :P
I love it, the regular chicken one is the best!
Shrimp is pretty good too~
Go chicken ramen
People who dislike ramen is a thing?!
Ramen is ramen. I like shrimp, beef, roast beef, chicken, chili, and probably any other flavors I eat.
I love ramen, but I usually have to be in the mood for it. Although my favorite flavor is Roast Chicken. <3 I could eat that anytime. I'd be interested to hear from someone that doesn't like ramen. xD
Are y'all talking about the instant stuff? It's super bad for you but my favorite flavor is beef.... The fresh stuff you get in restaurants is so much tastier. And the portions are huge.
Yes yes yes. Ramen is delicious and I absolutely love it, though I hardly ever actually eat it haha.. though the instant ramen isn't very healthy. Just a huge fan of pasta/noodles overall.
Instant ramen is alright, but I can't eat it right now on my diet
Yuuus. I've liked ramen for at least five years now. That was when I tasted it for the first time~
My favorite flavors are chicken and beef, extra spicy. I just happen to love spicy food. ...I even drink all the broth.
RAMEN!! I love ramen, it's so tasty and easy to make! I don't really have a favourite flavour though.
I don't make it that often, but I do indeed love ramen. I've only ever had the chicken flavor, and i almost always add cheese. It's the best that way
OMG, I love ramen so much. But sadly, I hardly ever get it because I live in a health-conscious house.
I love Oriental flavor the best. Pork comes next, then creamy chicken, then beef. I tried the lime flavored one once, but that didn't turn out so good. Also, adding egg and Parmesan cheese to ramen makes it ten times better! And it makes me more full.
I got pretty confused about this topic. I was think it is about ramen, the Japanese ramen, but it's more like a discussion of instant noodles
Well, I really like the real, Japanese ramen and can't wait to go and taste it in a newly opened, and by far the only one (and I live in a capital of my country orz), restaurant concentrated on Japanese ramen.
Speaking about instant stuff: ones, sold in my country are so awful, that you want to eat more, after you actually ate it. But I'm in love with instant noodles, sold in Japan. There are so many tastes there, and it's not soooo bad for you health Everyone, no matter you are a collage student or office worker, eat it
Yes, I haven't had it in awhile but I love ramen. Been about a year actually
I just want to know what are the reason why those 9 people don't like ramen. That's so interesting.
Because it really doesn't taste great, it's generic, and it doesn't fill you up. That's my reasoning.
I still eat it when I start to get a little sleepy, sick, or need something warm to eat. It tastes ok but it's a net waste in terms of actually needing something to eat.
i absolutely LOVE ramen! it's quick, cheap, and generally pretty tasty. it's also very good for when you're feeling sick!
sometimes when i have enough time and ingredients, i'll make "fancy ramen", which is just cheap instant ramen but with fresh sauteed vegetables + meat thrown in.. good stuff, i tell ya!
Yes, I like it.
Like it.... i can live off it
Yes, I enjoy it. It's generally just a good go-to when you aren't feeling up to the time commitment of making an entire meal or just want something quick and easy.
I've never tried it
As much as I love ramen, I can't have it anymore since my family is changing its lifestyle.
Ramen is really good, but I like some types better than others.
I live in South Korea. Ramen here tends to be spicy and a lot of it is seafood based (mostly shellfish). I can handle a good spice-fest so I indulge sometimes. However, ramen in Japan is AMAZING! It's salty and savory and has a totally different flavor and texture. My last trip to Tokyo, I ate nothing but ramen the entire time...and totally paid for it later.
tl;dr - Ramen = YES.
I like the chicken-flavored ramen. It's hard not to, I think, with all the stuff they add and how easy it is to make.
There are several people talking about how much better the real stuff is than the prepackaged ramen, so I have to wonder if I think this only because I've never had the real stuff before.
I love shrimp ramen with melted cheese on top.
Tbh I really like any type of ramen.. :')
instant ramen is garbage lol
I got really sick of it after eating it pretty often for a little while. and the thought of it made me sick for a few years.
when I really liked it, I loved the creamy chicken flavor. I actually ate some semi-recently and it wasn't a bad experience.
I guess generally I don't like it very much anymore, but I can have it every once in a while.
Like ramen!
I don't eat it often,but it's still pretty good.
I had instant ramen with chicken flavor from YUM YUM the one that's in a bag to breakfast last Wednesday
