Since I need test dummies, I've thrown another of the infamous boxes out there - it's an account upgrade purchasable for 4 000 points.

Using this, you can deposit one of your Pokemon into the Mystery Box, and if you so desire, holding one of the other boxes you've already collected. Doesn't that sound like fun?

Note: you will be unable to withdraw the Pokemon you deposit until I'm done with the testing, which will be a few days at least.

EDIT: I shoved one of my Crystal Onix in there with one of the holdable boxes. ... Maybe you should make it so we can see which of the unknown boxes our Pokemon is holding? I couldn't tell at a glance whether I gave her the 200 one or the 100 one

EDIT: So I put my beloved lvl 100 Shadow Lugia into an expensive box. It costs me 7,500 points and I picked a random box to put him in I hope this helps the experiment.

@ dragonsroc989: I put my groudon in without a box to hold either. And then wouldn't you know it, my munchlax egg hatches 5-10 minutes later and it was holding a box that went to my inventory. =/ But you're not the only one who put in a boxless pokemon.

The boxes that randomly showed up in your inventory are from hatching eggs, and are different from the one in the shop. If you get the one in the shop, you can put on of your pokemon in it (using the drop-menu on the pokemon's page). You have the option of having that pokemon take one of the boxes from hatched eggs with it. There's also three options when you put the pokemon in the box -cheap, mediocre, and expensive, each costing successively more points.

I put my parichisu in the expensive box, but didn't have another box for it to carry. Have fun Pips!

Finally something about the wierd boxes I'm thinking what pokemon to use think I'll use my extra Cresselia incase you get something better for using rarer pokemon or it turns them shiny or something or you lose them. I don't know just guessing. From how few people have found boxes compared to how many use the site they could be something good hopefully, also it seems to be a big update which makes me think its something good.

The ones that come from eggs go with your Pokémon into the new box. The new one is essentially an account upgrade and the others are used for it.

As you test & make tweaks to the Mystery Box upgrade, would you add some sort of identifier to give us an idea of which unknown item we're letting the pokemon hold as it rides around in the mystery box?

Having more than one unknown item, the list didn't give me an idea of which specific item since it just said unknown item & included the quantity. The item I have 2 of was easy to spot, but the other 3 items which only had one quantity of each were more difficult. Luckily, it seemed to be in the same order as the inventory list in the Poketch/Shop so it wasn't too difficult, but I think it would work better with that information included in the drop down box we have when we are mystery boxing a pokemon.

You can also buy the ones people sold, but they"re snatched away faster than the summons, since they're so new and mysterious... ^^'

You want to know the real truth? Okay, here goes, then.

A little while back, at the online GPX+ HQ, or whatever the staff calls it, Wymsy came dawdling in, looking kind of dazzled. Now that's not something you see very seldom, but she looked... Different.
After the staff's intensive questioning (including Ragetillery and Valenctacruel) they finally knew what Wymsy had done the night before.
She had walked down a loooong corridor (her manor is huge, from what they could tell from Commodore Jim's long nights), going from her computer room to the main hall. All of a sudden, the lights shut off, only to go back on a few seconds later.
After the lights had gone back on, however, she found herself confronted by a light-brown, cube-shaped object. It had sucked her in violently, and the last thing she could remember about that was a low mumbling: "Give us pleasure."
She woke up, in the same corridor, lying on the floor. Her dark skin had become almost pure white, her pupils now being barely small dots. She was covered in a very thin layer of slime. Not the kind of pudding slime she loved so much. In fact, it was the exact opposite.
She had no idea what had happened, and didn't care. What she didn't know, however, was the fact that she had sucked in the light-brown cube thingy. This then multiplied, shrank, and miltuplied again. Repeating that process until it was small enough to get into her blood flow.
Since it was already morning, she drove her not-so-inexpensive car to the GPX+ HQ thingemajiger, and suggested something the staff had never even thought of implenting before: Mysterious Boxes.

Now my thought is that these digital versions of the cube thingy that sexually assaulted attacked Wymsy are here, online, to sneakily download themselves onto our computer's internal hard drives. From there, they'll spread to any other attached devces, be it by wires or bluetooth or whatever. One they have infested enough devices with their existance, they'll blow themselves up, melt the hardware, and transform into the forme that attacked Wymsy.

If anybody here dissagrees with this, then please stay the hell away from them as they have already been infected.

I can't help but wonder if this is some kind of Pokemon speed-dating thing. If they have a box when they go in, maybe that shows what Pokemon they're interested in (especially if the type-boxes theory is true, or it might depend on what Pokemon the boxes came from, or how much the box costs), and there's 3 levels of dates, the cheaper date is going to some fast food restaurant, the medium date is probably a night out on the town, and the expensive date is a cruise or a vacation. If Pokemon doesn't hold an "interest box" then they'll be randomly paired up with another box-lacking Pokemon the Mysterious Box of Pleasure decides. Maybe the Pokemon will all come back with Eggs from their dates~.

Can you imagine going on a cheap fast food date with a Snorlax? XD

That could be a seconde life for pokémon who have been to the underground.
I mean that's a underground which you had to pay to do something with.

But the option about Unknown item make me confused.

I want to know what will happen with this little add. ^^

I put my Primal Dialga in the expensive box... I figure if it's the first pokemon I summon, Corrupt, and get from 1 to 100 it should be the first to try this box thing.

Well, it cant be exp because the higher the level the more points it cost to send it. and I dont think they would swap the pokemon. maybe it has something to do with the OTHER poll Wymsy had put, the first one. one of the questions was something like taking a pokemon out to possibly get something great....

And it probably isnt anything that changes their form in any way cause I'm sure Bidoof, Zerxer, and wymsy knew people may put very rare pokemon in there and if anything bad or very strange happened to them people would go all freaky on their butts and mob their PM box.

Maybe it's that new thing for events that wymsy said may happen. and last month bidoof said rather then achievements there would be a big surprise.
Maybe this is the new way to get event pokemon, pay for a better chance to get it. the higher the level the better the chance cause it cost more points. It's really fair cause the more you play the more points you get, the more you deserve an event pokemon rather then just sign in for one day with in the week and get it without doing almost anything other then having some clicks under your belt.

Go to the dropdown menu for one of your pokemon
Under the move header where it usually says party, underground, pc, etc, a new option should be available.
Use that ;D

It's a different box than the ones you got from eggs. This one is big enough to fit your pokemon AND the box it gave you. And some unknown things we've yet to be informed about, but that seem to give pokemons pleasure. x)

I just bought the box and I am disappointed.
I have a full party of eggs and cannot put anything into the box.
Will I miss out on the surprise?
Will it ever be possible to move a Pokemon from the Daycare or PC to the box?

You can put a pokemon from the PC into the box. I did it with a Shinx.

Double click on the pokemon you wish to put into the box to go to that pokemon's page.
In the drop down menu on that page, you should be able to move it. Usually from the PC to the walker, the underground, daycare, or your party. With the new account upgrade, you can also move it to the mystery box.

I really hope this isn't a Secret Santa.

1) My first pokemon was in here
2) it wasn't legendary, meaning I won't get a legend back (if I knew, I would have put my spare Ho-oh in there)
3) I'm starting to get a bad feeling about this...
