The last concert I went to is Kiss in Charlotte,NC.The loved the opening acts The Evny, and The Academy. It was just amazing <3
I've never been to a concert but the bands Alexisonfire and Lights are coming to perform at my college in September. I'd like to see that.
July 14 of last year, Green Day and The Bravery were in Detroit, and I went to their concert. I wanted to see Green Day and AFI this year, but I couldn't. ;-;
Vedera, Jacks Mannequin and The Fray. The best concert i've ever been to.
The last concert I went to was HIM at Sonar in Baltimore, Maryland. They had three opening acts that were all awful. HIM was amazing as usual and I actually stopped the concert in the middle to have a conversation with the lead singer. He and the rest of the band know me. They look for me every time they come to Maryland to have a show.
The last concert I went to was Trans Siberian Orchestra's Beethoven's Last Symphony. It was so amazing.
Last concert I went to was the teen choice awards.
Never, But Going to See Tegan and Sara and PARAMORE ( ) in Two Weeks.
The last concert I went to was absolutely awful...it was Nickelback in Hershey, PA. I only went to spend some time with my sister before she went back to college 600 miles away. I hated every minute of it. No offense to Nickelback fans, but I can't stand their music. I disliked the bands that went on before as well.
Plus everybody was smoking and the seats were terribly uncomfortable.
Although, we actually left before they went on because some jerk-off spilled beer all over my sister when he tried to catch one of those stupid beach balls. Ugh I wanted to hurt him so bad D< (she wouldn't let me)
I went to the Carnival of Madness in Grand Prairie, TX. It was amazing! 10 Years, Sevendust, Chevelle, Puddle of Mudd, and Shinedown~
Tom Petty concert about three weeks ago now. It was epic.
Aerosmith World Tour 2010
I went to a wizard rock concert. The Remus Lupins, Skyway Flyer, Tonks and the Aurors, and The Nifflers were playing in Toronto.
The Fab Faux (Beatles tribute band) and before that Scissor Sisters. Both awesome shows.
The last and only concert I have been to was to see Bowling for Soup in a dumpy little club. I was standing for 7 hours (started at 8, ended at 2, we got there an hour early) but man was it awesome. I even got one of Chris's (the big guitar player) picks. Missed one of Jaret's (the singer). It flew right over my head >_> (they throw their picks to the audience)
My Chemical Romance, on their Black Parade Tour end of '07.
Almost died in that bloody moshpit. xP
Owl City with Lights and Lynhurst in May-ish.
Last concert was actually my first ever concert and that was Three Days Grace heheheh. XP... *sigh* i wanna go to another concert... ><;;
I went to an Aerosmith concert in Toronto sometime in August
Blue Man Group.
Morning Musume's concert at Japan Expo, Paris.
The Triple Rainbow Awesome Tour concert in Toronto in October.
just saw joe satriani (awesome instrumental guitar virtuoso) this past wednesday.
actually got to meet him briefly before the show as well. real nice guy, told us all some real interesting stuff, and he signed my copy of one of his records.
Well, if you can call it a concert:
Japan Anime Live
Sato Miki was wonderful.
I hope to see a show like that again.
If it doesn't count as concert it would be Haruko Momoi last September.
Missed OLIVIA on that occasion.
a few weeks ago, my parents and i went down to new orleans to visit our relatives. while there, we saw 2 concerts - a cajun music show with this band called "amanda shaw and the cute guys" which consisted of this very young girl on vocals and fiddle (and holy cow she was INCREDIBLE on the fiddle), a guitarist, a bassist, and a drummer. it was really, really fun.
we also saw a jazz show with a band that had like 17 people in it. i don't remember who the bandleader was, though, but it was really awesome.
This past November:
Overkill
Forbidden
Evile
Gama Bomb
Bonded by Blood.
Great concert.
Saw Meat Loaf last summer.
A Billy Joel concert in 2009.
Three years ago in the summer... It was a Vans Warped Tour concert.
the other day a friend and i saw this rock band from india called "parikrama." i hadn't heard of them before, but they were playing at the kennedy center as part of this month-long indian heritage thing they have going on over at the KC, and my friend's mom got us tickets to see 'em. they were really cool, their music was like a grab-bag of all sorts of different rock and metal styles from the 70s and 80s, you could hear influences from guns n' roses, lynyrd skynyrd, led zeppelin, even dream theatre in there, as well as elements from classical indian music. their guitarists and keyboardist were great, and they also had a guy who played this violin-like indian instrument (i forget the name of it) and he was great too (at one point he and the keyboardist had a sort of instrument duel and it kicked ass). vocalist also had amazing range - one song he would sound like billy corgan and the next song he would sound like axl rose.
nice guys too, after the show they came off stage and out into the crowd and just chilled with the audience members who stuck around.
Alesana on Valentine's Day. My boyfriend was less than pleased.
It was a decent show, though their set list left a lot to be desired. :T
Coheed and Cambria vs Thrice.
That was roughly five years ago, now. u_u;
I've just booked tickets for Taking Back Sunday in May, though.
Saw The Defiled (<3), Black Viel Brides and Murderdolls in Febuary.
All but BvB was Awesome ^^
I went to see Turisas last month. It was awesome! I just wish they had a longer set. They were touring with these other bands that I didn't care about, but thirty minutes of Turisas was worth the ticket price. And they signed a bunch of stuff for me. They said they're coming back to the US sometime, so I hope they come back to my city. But I'll travel for them! I also saw Eluveitie the week before, which was also awesome and probably the roughest crowd I'd ever been in.
I also have a ticket for System of a Down and Gogol Bordello in May, but I don't think I'll actually get to go. I just got the ticket just in case. Sucks, 'cause that show's going to be awesome.
I've never been to a concert. :c
Just recently?
Thousand Foot Cruth
Marilyn Manson
The Eagles
The Grass Roots
Disturbed
Korn
I'm a happy guy ;D
Last concert I went to was last year. I saw Stereophonics at the Sheffield Arena.
Yesterday I made my way to Tampa for 98RockFest.
Saw Crossfade during the outside free show.
Then went on inside for the "big" show. Halestorm, Skillet, Theory of a Dead Man, Seether, Stone Sour, and Three Doors Down (who I missed as the person I was with wanted too leave)
I was shoved, I was pushed, I had beer spilled on me, and a fight broke out behind me. Still, I had the greatest night of my life. It was my first time seeing Stone Sour live after 5 or 6 years of being a fan and while I'm a fan of the other bands they pumped mr up the most. I'm glad I got too see them all in one night.
Last concert I went to was the Monsters of Annihilation tour that visited here in Baltimore last Oct. Bands: Papa Roach, Skillet, Trapt, & My Darkest Days.
Awesome concert~ ♥
Mmmmetallica. But it was a half year ago. Because I couldn't go to the Megadeth one. *sob*
The Script
Went to see them on St Patrick's Day this year. We had the biggest crowd at the Arena and the biggest crowd they've ever performed to! There was about 20,000 people when we went Which is pretty much the whole arena
I'll give you an entire list.
America/Chicago
Styx/Foreigner
Bryan Adams/George Thorogood
Journey/Heart/Cheap Trick
The Police
Bon Jovi
Lynyrd Skynyrd
Peter Frampton/Steve Miller Band
Scorpions
Foreigner/Styx/Kansas (again)
Iron Maiden
Megadeth/Slayer
Aerosmith
Ozzy Osbourne/Slash
Rush (4/17/2011)
Lynhurst preforming in a skyway in the city that I live in.
x3 I was the only one (besides another girl, who looked like she was 10 or something) who stood inside, like.. 10 feet away from them in the skyway. I got to meet them for the second time and managed to get their autographs again<3
Aaaand a hug from Mari, the lead singer, and Matt (guitarist) and I compared shoes, aaaand Jake (bassist) was all smiles, telling me that he was amazed to have 'actual listeners' xD
I saw The Kills a few weeks ago.
JUSTIN BIEBER
AT THE ASIAWORLD ARENA
LAST LAST FRIDAY
IT WAS AMAAAZZZINGGGG
now i probably will be flamed to death. BUT IT WAS INCREDIBLE, OK
A seriously amazing night.
^Hey, if you had a good time, then that's great!
Saw Down with haarp and Danava a few weeks ago. It was dope. Haarp was probably the most intense music I've ever experienced live (once their set was done, my friend and I actually felt physically exhausted just from standing there and taking it all in.), Danava was really fun, and Down reeked of badassery. Crowd was nuts - my friend and I were holding onto to the railing and getting pushed up so much from all sides that we could only move our heads and arms, and literally about every ten seconds a crowdsurfer would pass over us. Great show.
Never been to one. Ultimate sadface
Alexisonfire a few years back, met Dallas Green.
Bring Me The Horizon supported by Parkway Drive, Architects and The Devil Wears Prada in April. EPIC NIGHT !
Secondhand Serenade <3
Went to Panic! At The Disco's concert last night. c: <3
They also had Funeral Party and fun.
Fell in love with fun.~ ...And hugged Andrew Dost, their amazing piano player. c: ...Even though I tripped over some box while going around the meet 'n greet table and my face nearly ended up in his lap.. x3
Was already in love with Panic! to begin with.
Flogging Molly
Ya know them? If not, then you should search them up. They play Irish punk and it's real pub'n'roll. :> Man, this was fun. People were dancing even in the back rows and at the bars. Beer cans were flying all over the place (I got a nice one in my face and if was half full duh XD).
Within Temptation
I'm more of a Nightwish fan and only know a few songs from WT, but my friend loves them so I accompanied her. Even though I didn't recognize half of the songs they played, it was still awesome.
Motörhead
Oookay, it was probably the best of all I've been to this week and I'm not lying. Simply, just simply amazing. I forgot all the pain I felt from standing/walking all day, yes, their music is that awesome and you know it. I even bought a Motörhead flag, I'm so happy. :>
Good Charlotte
I'm really not a fan of the music they play (my friend described it as chic punk and umm yeah she's right. XD), but they gave a great concert, I really had fun. Everyone jump in the air~
Hadouken!
Um, okay, a bit of a lying here, I was only halfly listening to them, we were sitting in the back rows with my friend, talking and drinking. It really isn't the type of music (noise) we like, but one of my classmates is a big fan and we supposed to meet up with her, but we couldn't find each other in the end. It's really a shame that the concert was in the afternoon, it could have been better in the night. Just like Chemical Brothers was. I really wanted to go to CB (I might be a metalhead, but I somehow like their music/noise XD), but I missed it... Oh well.
Thirty Seconds To Mars
Which had a typo somewhere and was "Thirsty Seconds To Mars"... XD (No booze for me at that time, so I was thirsty indeed.) Really not a fan. But two of my friends dragged me along. I was forced! XD Okay, no, it wasn't bad at all. Jared sure knows how to put on a great show and that's all.
Gogol Bordello
It was random to the most. My friend phoned me up and asked if I wanted to come, because it seemed to be fun. Oh yeah, it was. We didn't know a single song, but all of the people around us were dancing and having fun and we weren't left out either. :>
Sonata Arctica
Last concert for me, I got the flu and had to come home early that day. :< But SA was still awesome and they put on a great show.
Besides these, I've been to three concerts of Hungarian bands, two that I like and one my friend likes and I went with her because I had nothing to do. 'Twas a fun week.
My last one was in January when I went to see Stone Sour and A7X in Baltimore. Pretty good, the only thing I hated was sitting through most of Hollywood Undead's opening act and left before their last song started(or second-to-last, I can't remember at the moment); they don't play my kind of music for the most part.
The last and only concert I've ever been to was Ozzfest in 2007. We're supposed to be going to the Skrillex concert in september.
^Hell yes to Motorhead and Gogol a few posts up! Never seen Motorhead live but they are KICK ASS so I imagine it must be awesome, but I've seen Gogol live and similarly I didn't know much of their material (they were co-headlining with Primus and I was there for Primus) but they were fun as hell anyway.
And oh hey, I have a friend who went to that A7X/Stone Sour show in Baltimore. (I didn't though.) He hated having to sit through Hollywood Undead's set as well.
Recently went to a teeny tiny little club in Baltimore, Maryland to see Honky (a very obscure band all the way from Texas) and three local bands play to an audience of about 20 people. It was really neat because it was pretty intimate - members of each band sat in with the rest of the audience when their band wasn't playing (even the guys from Honky, who were headlining, were just chilling like the rest of us - also ran into them before and after the show and they were super nice) and it's pretty crazy when that guy in the Ramones shirt who had been standing next to you while everyone was waiting in line outside the venue gets up and walks up onto the stage and turns out to be the bassist for one of the bands playing that night.
Honky's drummer walked up to my mum and I (yeah yeah, we're both metalheads, we both like going to shows) right after they finished their set and shook our hands and thanked us for coming to the show. D'aww.
It was over a month ago. Ryan Sheridan. It was amazingggg. Loved the guy playin' that box thing as well, forgot what he called it, but the guy was belting out some wicked beat smacking that thing.
Journey, Foreigner and Night Ranger on July 31.
The Mayhem Fest was on my birthday... But I didn't get to go 'cause of the rain.
But I'm about to see Def Leppard and Heart tomorrow.
30 seconds to mars in Syracuse FOR FREE at the state fair!
I saw http://www.sevennations.com/Seven_Nations/Home.html, a Celtic rock band. They were pretty good if you like hard rock meets traditional celtic music XD (I regret bringing only enough money to buy a ticket :p)
Sadly, I've never been to a concert in my life. I would have gone to see Trans-Siberian Orchestra perform "Beethoven's Last Night", except I had no ride out to the show and back...
recently saw weedeater and three other bands (fight amp, bison b.c., and saviors) in a small room with maybe 50 people in attendance. for most of the night the whole thing felt really casual and laid back - the guys from weedeater hung around in plain sight and chilled with audience members before their set, and watched the other bands play. (dixie dave, weedeater's vocalist, was standing like right in front of me during saviors' set, headbanging and fistpumping with everyone else.) people didn't crowd around the stage at all for the first three bands' sets, they were just kind of sparsely scattered around the room. the supporting acts all kicked ass though, especially fight amp. damn fight amp was good.
then things got pretty zany when weedeater started playing. there was no railing or anything, the stage was maybe 2 feet off the ground, i was right in the front and so damn close to weedeater's vocalist i was worried i might accidentally hit him in the face while fistpumping. it was hot and sweaty and people were going fucking nuts and the sound was so loud and fuzzy and distorted you couldn't make out a word the vocalist was saying (that's normal during songs, but you couldn't in between songs either!) and the drums and bass pretty much drowned out the guitar. all of this probably sounds lame and like i'm criticizing but it was actually one of the awesomest shows i've been to.
i think weedeater is one of the few metal bands where the drummer and bassist both have absolutely IMMENSE stage presence and the poor guitarist is barely even noticeable, haha. (to be fair the bassist is also the vocalist, but still.)
I haven't been to a concert in for little over a year now but my mom has been to a couple recently.
She went to the Rock Allegiance tour in Winston Salem since it was so close. Also she went to Rockstar Energy Uproar Tour in Virginia with A7X,Seether, and Three Days Grace. I'M SO FRICKING JEALOUS OF HER. SHE GOT TO SEE SHAUN MORGAN IRL. ;-;
The Tragically Hip, John Fogerty, Metric, and Infected Mushroom, all at the music festival that I did volunteer work at.
And I missed Skrillex.
jaguares about a year+ ago, they're a mexican rock band.
I last went to see Katy Perry. She was absolutely amazing, she's so good live and the whole tour concept was really good. Thoroughly enjoyed myself, she is a quality entertainer.
Bowling for Soup. Was awesome.
Saw the Red Hot Chili Peppers at the O2 Arena last Thursday. Was AMAZING. Seriously. Had been waiting to see those guys since I was like 12, and to say they didn't disappoint would be an understatement. Played all the classics; Can't Stop, (everyone went mental), Scar Tissue, Dani California, Under The Bridge, (Anthony Keidis messed up the first couple of lines, but the whole crowd starting singing over him. Was pretty epic), Californication, By The Way, (mental, again ). Not much new stuff though, only counted 4 songs off the new album. Not that I'm complaining mind you. The lighting and stage effects were really cool too. Made a proper show out of it
Then they came back and played this massive half an hour encore, including Chad Smith doing this amazing drum solo, and a cover of Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere by Niel Young. Its one of my favourite songs of all time, so to see it being played by my favourite band of all time was immense. Only problem was cause it was a cover nobody else new the words, so I was there singing along all by myself. Got a few strange looks, but its all good
I played in a concert last Sunday.
Wasn't the most exciting thing in the world but I went to a Weird Al concert not too long ago when he came to town. Figured it would be fun.
I got to go see Halestorm last night, with two bands I hadn't heard of as the opening acts (Cold Harbour and Ashes Remain, I think) in some club/bar/whatever. I think Halestorm gives one of the best concerts I've ever seen (in comparison, the other two bands were kinda 'meh'), and Lzzy's voice is amazing! Even though I wasn't on the floor against the rail, I managed to get on a balcony against the rail (finally got to catch one of Lzzy's bracelets that she threw into the crowd after the show because of that spot) and the only thing my view was obstructed by was a pole; I didn't see much of the keyboardists in Halestorm and one of the opening bands, but I didn't care much. |D
Taylor Swift Speak Now. It was soooo awesome!!!!!
The last signed band I saw was Disturbed when they came to Christchurch New Zealand in 2011
The last unsigned band I saw was my mates band Corrupted Omen
The last concert I went to? Well that was my own
I never went to a concert
I went to see Yashin for my birthday last year.
Unfortunately, I haven't been to any concerts since then. I should probably fix that. :c
went to the A389 recordings anniversary bash (small extreme music fest) a couple weeks ago. saw a bunch of bands - weekend nachos, magrudergrind, pulling teeth, integrity, so on. eyehategod was headlining the night but my friend and our folks dragged us home before they played. ah well, another time!
most violent show i've been to thus far. crowd was bananas, stagedivers everywhere, circle pit was ridiculous, etc. fun as hell.
The one and only concert I've ever been to: U2 360° Tour at Qwest Field (now Century Link Field) in Seattle.
It. Was. Awesome.
I went to a symphony concert two weeks ago.
This one was called "Joy of Classicism" and flute had the main role. I think that concert was the best so far. The flute was just perfectly performed. And it's always a delight to my eyes to see a bunch of well dressed, handsome men.
I attended Milwaukee Wisconsin's "Summer Fest" last year one of the days it was running. Camped out at one stage that featured a bunch of uprising/unsigned bands in the local area while waiting for my favorite band to come on.
If you are in the area or love to drive - getting in is cheep and you have access to most of the stages (minus the big one with the big act for the night)
It was a No Doubt concert a few years back. It was a really awesome one; went with friends, met a couple of fun drunk people, had my face blown away with how great the band was...all that good stuff.
Judas Priest back in December
Lady Gaga in September of 2010. That was awesome. Especially the ridiculous protest outside the arena before the concert.
Asian Dub Foundation playing over French movie "La Haine", it was awesome.
I traveled to Sweden in February to go to a Snow Patrol concert (it was the nearest one to my home country).
A trip definitely worth it.
Roger Waters: The Wall last June 5.
SO AWESOME!
Two weeks ago I went to the Beach Boys 50th Anniversery concert tour in Glendale, AZ.
Not long ago, I went to WARPED TOUR 2012.
unneeded to be said, it was amazing<333333333
taking back sunday and all time low were fantastic
Ugh. My Chemical Romance is 2005... D=
I like 'older' music and the bands aren't usually touring anymore =p
Music today sucks, so no band or singer is worth going to see.
I wouldnt consider it a concert (because it was kinda secret) but Danny Gokey from American Idol sang at my hometown.
I unfortunately have not had the pleasure of going to a concert yet but I was very close to attending my favorite band. A few years back The Eagles were playing the day after my birthday. I tried to get tickets but the lady told me all tickets sold out in 30 minutes.
I went to an Owl City concert last night and had a truly amazing time with some good friends of mine.
Back in July there was our annual music festival thing here, so I ended up seeing Carly Rae Jepsen, Nickelback, and LMFAO just out of personal amusement. Then for the acts I legitimately wanted to see, I saw Seal, Paul Oakenfold, Walk Off The Earth, Pretty Lights, Skrillex, and Snoop Dogg. Really wanted to see Metric again, but I didn't feel like staying around that day.
Wasn't a huge "oh my god I have to see X" kind of year, but Pretty Lights and Skrillex were the two that I really wanted to see and enjoyed seeing.
Last one I went to was Shinedown and Godsmack, with a bunch of opening acts. Uproar Fest!
Last year, 16 of september => Avril Lavigne in Forest National ((I do wish other bands come this way like BB and the like))
Maroon 5 & Train in September 2011.
I'm seeing Maroon 5, Neon Trees, and Owl City in March.
Fluff Fest, big music festival in Czech Republic
The last concert (and only concert I've ever been to) was Bon Jovi back in June 2006. I remember it well. It was the Have A Nice Day tour, and my best friend's parents bought me a ticket for my birthday (which was a couple of months later, but hey, I'm not one to object to early presents :P ). But me and my best friend were also in the middle of our GCSE's.
I believe we had a Maths exam on the morning of the concert. We finished around 1pm, and the gates of the concert opened at 4pm. Yeah, we had to peg it back from school to her house to get changed, and then her parents zoomed us over there.
We had an exam the next morning, too. Can't remember what it was, but we were both knackered, as we didn't leave the arena until about 1am. And we were both wearing our Jovi t-shirts under our uniform
the last one i went to was the 2012 Monster Energy tour. was probably my favorite one i've been to so far, however i was really sad that i didn't get to see suicide silence preform since mitch died. but they did have a tribute to him so all was well.
Last time I was in Provinssirock. It's big music festival in Finland and I guess it count's even though I was employee, not a customer. Really recommend to go there if you ever happen to be at Finland at the time.
Klassik am Odeonsplatz, in Munich. And before that, the Berlin Philharmonic playing Beethoven's Symphony Nr. 9, in Madrid.
Those count, right? They have to.
The last BIG concert I went to was the Decibel Magazine 2014 Tour with Carcass, Gorguts, The Black Dahlia Murder and Noisem. I was up front with the vocalist for Vale of Pnath at the time and sang (well screamed) along to all the Black Dahlia songs with him. Friggin' magical.
The last concert that I went to AT ALL was in 2015. It was just a local show with Ancient Colossal and my former band, Eminent Terror. Since Eminent Terror and I are on pretty good terms, they invited me up on stage to do guest vocals on the song, Prism (I was the band's vocalist before I left). If the band wasn't playing like freaking crap that night, we would have kicked so much ass.
My last concert was Saltatio Mortis a few years ago and I kinda got dragged there because my friends wanted to attend it (and it was part of an medieval festival). I don't like concerts very much, though xD
I'm more the Musical type. Watched The Phantom of the Opera yesterday for the first time, it was awesome
