Dawn is annoying the heck outta me. Why? First she wins like, all the contests AND wins against May. That's just way over powered-ness. Then she gets an egg that hatches into Cyndaquill. I was like, dude 'wtf?!' because it already knows Flame Wheel and all of that! They could've just brought Ash's back!

And then there's a chance that Dawn can get a Togekiss. Serebii says that there's a chance because a Togekiss was seen being released from Dawn's Pokeball in one of the intros. Annoying. She doesn't deserve Togekiss.

She's also going to be in a fourth movie (the one with Zoroa and Zoroark)! That's like, way crazy. May was in like, three. Misty was in four (she's cool thought) but Dawn...doesn't deserve to be in a fourth movie. '>.>

Is there anyone else who really dislikes Dawn? She's cool as a playable character in D/P/Pt, but that's because she isn't in the anime and can't really talk like everyone else.

On the good note- who likes May and Misty better?

MAY'S DA BEST!!! It'd be cool if u coud play as her in D/P/Pt instead of Dawn. When they made Dawn, they didn't go w/ the m's thing(May, Misty)

I have pretty much never liked Dawn. XD She whines too much and her Piplup is pretty sassy. I miss Misty alot and I hope she will come back in the anime.

D=< I hate her everything and just wish they'd move on to the next female character already and this time actually make a really awesome one... Or possibly bring someone back. >___> Though, I'd like to be introduced to a new one.

I don't really like Dawn much, but the only reason why I appreciate her is because of Pokemon contests... Other than that, she is very plain in terms of character.

Don't they have a new character called Lyra?

At least May was sappy thinking before sending out her Pokémon.

I dont hate Dawn. I just prefer May and/or Misty.
Is it just me, or May was the least in the anime of those 3 girls.

And it seems like Ash has better friendships with Dawn and Misty then with May.
But I like May the best despite all that.

Dawn + Togekiss = Me faint.
I really cant imagine her with a Togekiss. I really cant.

Another reason why I stopped watching the anime a long time ago, along with the constantly cliche plot, Dawn deserves to die!!!!

OR.... just bring Misty or May back (forget Max)

i started hating dawn when she traded away buziel because that buziel was crazy strong and keep fainting the others then Dawn throws it away for a 2 tailed monkey that she throws away for a pingpong person.... i hated misty she keep complaining about a burnt bike dawn and may never complained..... plus May was more stronger because of her fighting fire chicken plus i think the togekiss was misty old togetic plus Lrya was funny with her eyes

...She had an entire character arc about having LOSING STREAKS. She's lost more contests than May ever did.

Also, Misty was in 5 movies and May was in 4.

If you wanna hate a character, fine, but at least get your facts straight.

Sorry, but this happens every season; May wasn't Misty and so back in Advanced everybody was talking about how much May sucked. In before gen 5 starts complaining about whoever the new girl is isn't like Dawn. It's like a fad now.

I really can't stand Dawn, and I don't like May.

I just wish they'd bring Misty back already, or at least give her some more solo episodes, I gave up pretty much watching Pokemon now because Dawn's worse than May. And I barely watched it with May because she was such a pain.

I ended up watching Pokemon Chronicles because it was much more interesting. I was glad when May left the series, but then ended up losing hope that Dawn would be better.

The two are great to play as in the games, just their anime personalities are annoying. I probably won't even bother really watching the series much again unless they do something interesting now.

I don't like her either. Or her contest appeals. They seem to be too flashy, rather then based on skill.

The new Ash bothers me too. It seems to me like he's forgotten everything he's learned over the past few seasons.

It's understandable that Dawn is getting new pokemon and that she's going to be in the movie.
As for character itself, I'm just happy to see someone new. If it were still Misty or May, then that'd be disappointing.

Also, Ash and Brock should just die.

Most pokemon heroine was a tad annoying for me but Dawn just takes the cake. Misty is my favorite, mainly just because she was the first and Misty/Ash/Brock trio is awesome, May was really nice but Dawn is just plain annoying with her "I only want CUTE POKEMON AND CUTE STICKERS AND CUTE DRESS AND WHY CAN'T I BRING MY SUITCASE ALONG WITH ME" attitude. Way to stereotype girls even more than you needed too, ugh.

May was the annoying one Dawn has lost a couple Contests and Ash wins like very battle he is in so what is the difference. Dawn is the best girl to travel with Ash yet. Also I would considering getting your facts straight before you go off ranting.

Seriously i think people need to chill o.O; they're just fictional characters.

Misty was a bit agressive but on the whole had a good heart and witty and not taking any shit from anyone. Tough but sensitive at the same time. May was the coolest in my opinion, and the one with the most character growth (starting out all confused and not even liking pokemon) out of the three... i honestly can't remember anything about her that annoyed me. I loved her quirky sides, like when she was doing "documentaries films"... she was sweet.

Dawn... shrug... i dont see why people hate her. Sure she's girly... but she's a nice person. She had a few "selfish" moments ect, but she's young and most of the time she's nice and she loves her pokemon and she gets over her bad moments (eventually).

I agree that some of her pokemon are stupidly strong tho (i was like, wtf about her Cindaquil too...) ...but i luv piplup even tho he's "sassy" sometimes. Pachirissu cracks me up, Lopunny is cute with her crush on Pikachu, i love the big mammoth one (erm.. i have a blank... geez... whats this pokemon name...) .. i mean, it evolved a bit too quickly but still, i liked the episode where Dawn takes care of him and they start to be closer after that (also it shows that Dawn is a caring girl)

I did like May more tho. And Misty is forever irreplacable.

Dawn needs to suck up a bit more. In the "loosing streak" arc she was so overdramatic.

I'm not centering her out. Whenever a major character looses a battle/contest, they BAAAAWWWWW their eyes out. Grow a pair, Ash. :<
