If Alakazam's Focus Blast hit your Lucario, you'd of been in trouble.
Why would he/she make Metagross use Explosion? It already resisted Nidoqueen's poison and has strong enough base stats to at least put some dents in the 'Queen. 
Hah, used Toxic on a steel-type, fail.... 
It's been a while since I have seen a moderately good Sandstorm team, but yours seemed sturdy enough. ^^

id say the rotomshock battle was a bit more interesting to me. Alot more 'OMG , OH NO" reactions in that one.
