If I wish to RP at Castle Vonmoto with the dude who runs it and maybe some of his family, what would I have to do? Have a mod act as them?

The thing is, the castle serves more of a vacation home than a permanent residence. Lonnie and his family don't actually live there. Not sure if they would be there. That, and it's still in ruins from the whole avalanche.

So having a move tutor type guy with a pokemon that knows a move pretty well, would be suitable enough to teach a move tutor.

But that means that I can't have a balding middle age man magically float around to teach my mareep magnet rise.

That makes me sad.

Actually, it has only been said how you COULD do it. There aren't many limits on how it COULD be done.

PM a mod, just to be safe.

@ Doukan: You could, but it's a bit out of the way. Doukan would have to travel through the mountain network of lava tubes (just tunnels inside the mountain, though it is a dormant volcano...), then the icy wilderness until he could get to the castle. That's an RP in and of itself.

@ Kranic: I don't know about the other mods, but I'd love to read that . Not magic, but steel plated shoes :P.

What about any other NPC, like Shinobu, when you are not going for their Gym/Contest/Pokethelon challenge? How would interacting with them go? A mod like you guys would control them?

Those are mod controlled NPCs. A mod would have to control her. Whether she or another mod-controlled NPC can show up will depend on mod availability and what you plan to do.

If you haven't looked at the Pokethelon thread thingy, she is a Jockey that lives in Arasam....

@2gamer: so if I cannot get anyone to join him in the next thread, would it be alright to have just have them travel together to Arasam as he learns about Pokethelon, or something like that? Would would another person still have to take part?

It would be preferable if you did find someone else to join. The mods are busy people that have their own RPs; they may not be able to get to yours as often as you'd like.

I'm curious about what Deception has done in Carello, since I'm considering using them in a roleplay (with mod permission of course.) while I won't be having Castor bust into their Headquarters or anything, about everything for continuity.

A while back, Team Deception was looking for fossils and/or fossil pokemon. After a police sting, they ran off. Guards have since been posted around Carello to prevent another TD operation. That being said, this is Team Deception we're talking about, so if there was a reason to go back, they somehow found a way.

Perhaps you and Douken should team up for an epic Carello RP.

ETA: My profile has updated pokemon levels etc. from before our last RP, so I could take that and add in the "all bound for Moo Moo land" score in a new post on the current levels thread, if it is ok to pick up where we left off. I'm pretty sure Lindley's is the same, I think she was keeping Verity's profile up to date.
