Welcome to Bobzilla's Happy Fun Time Fusion Corner!



If you walk through Doc Ock's Fusion Factory, past all the very impressive assembly lines and that giant fusion reaction that powers everything and also makes delicious toast, you'll find a small office at the back with a hand drawn sign on the door. Inside is a tiny dragon squirrel girl, covered in finger paint, making little custom overworld sprites to send out to the main production lines.
They feed her on caramel waffle biscuits and cider, and every so often someone brings her more paints.

Okay, but seriously.
Lots of people are very fond of my dear friend Otto's Fusion Factory, where she makes shiny userbars and, everyone's favourite, animated overworlds. But, perhaps sadly, Otto doesn't have the time nor inclination to make custom overworld trainer sprites to go with these shiny animations of hers.
This is where Bobzilla comes in.
I rather like the tiny detail-ness of making custom overworlds, and so I have set up this, my own little corner of the factory, to provide the frames for said overworlds, which you can then take off to Otto to get animated. It's all very simple and logical, no? Right then. Brass tacks, as it were.

Rules:
1. Be polite, be nice, and don't get on my nerves; doing this involves
1a. Always say please and thank you :P
1b. Be nice to me and anyone else on the thread. Someone makes a request badly? Let them know, but be nice about it. The scathing wit is for me alone.
1c. Don't rush me; I suffer from a severe non-severe (yeah, that does make sense, actually) mental disorder, and have infrequent emotional breakdowns, crippling anxiety, and periods of abject depression. So I would say that my life doesn't need the added pressure.
1d. And perhaps most importantly: ENGLISH. Speak it, motherhuggers. NO chat speak, YES proper grammar and punctuation. I'm not asking for high literature, but capital letters, full stops, and at least an attempt at spelling would be great, thanks. Anyone who knows me will let you know I'm a massive elitist snob when it comes to language, not gonna lie. I'm English, you see.

2. Request correctly. This means,
2a. Using the forms, and making sure to use the CORRECT forms. I mean, come on, I don't have many.
2b. No editing the forms; if a field doesn't apply, leave it blank or put N/A.
2c. The greatest way to travel is to *bamf*. Unless that makes you queasy...
2d. When slots are full, don't even think about it. Full means full, no exceptions.

3. GIVE CREDIT. Especially if you use these for something other than Otto's animations. Just a little 'custom trainer by GirlCalledBob' is fine.
3a. That's CORRECT credit, please. My username is GirlCalledBob, not the girl called bob, or girlnamedbob, or any other variation thereof.
3b. And yes, I did just imply that you don't HAVE to use these in the Fusion Factory. You can use them for whatever, I ain't the boss of you. Unless you're one of my minions in which case GET BACK TO WORK.

4. A few rules on requests:
4a. I can make overworlds two ways: one, you give me a base and a list of changes, and two, you give me a battle sprite or a reference picture to work from and I take it from there. In both cases, we value detail, clarity, and coherency.
4b. If you're giving me a base, you need to actually, you know, give me the base. Either link to a page it can be found and make it VERY CLEAR which you want, or post the actual sprite. Giving a name won't help me (for example, 'B/W male hero' is NOT good enough)
4c. If you're giving me a battle sprite or ref. picture to work from, let me know if you want a B/W era sprite; overwise I'll default to D/P/HG/SS
4d. For reference pictures: be aware that these are often much more detailed than I can work onto a tiny sprite. Be realistic.
4e. I'll normally do the whole sheet unless you specify otherwise, but if you only plan on using frames walking in one direction, let me know? It creates less work for me, meaning you'll get it sooner.

I think that's enough rules for now, don't you?

Warnings and Bans

I don't like the idea of a ban system, I have to admit, but I've found in the past that people get on my nerves from time to time, and I'm going to see if laying down the law might help.
So it goes like this:

You get one warning if you make a small mistake; miss something in your request, etc.
Two warnings you will get if you break one of the rules, or make multiple mistakes in your request.
Three warnings (and an instant ban) will only come if you're very rude, or break several rules in one go, or fail at requesting entirely.

I never used to do this, and then I used to end up with a request list as long as my arm (well, it was as long as my hand once. I consider that fairly impressive). So now we have slots. If there isn't one empty, don't request.
