Hmm for events, maybe we could do a Green Shiny Hunt Group-wide?

I love that idea shadow..like all green shiny hunt..Btw finished my Sh. hunt for Azurill today! short hunt too..also< if anyone uses the mobil site, are the shelter images not showing for you too?

I'd like to avoid a green shiny hunt for this month since there is already a green pokemon GWSH going on in the Shiny Lovers thread, and i'd rather avoid conflicting with that group since its one of our affiliates. Though the following month i'd be more then happy for that to be put forward. infact we will probably have a poll for next month to decide what type of contest you want =] Though if everyone really wants to do a green shiny hunt will be considered, i'd just say you'll have much more control over the next event when we are more prepared~

Of course i'd like to see what Moonlit says first =]

Also congratulations on completing your shiny hunt, currently i'm working on the kyurem exploration since i love the shiny and any chance for a shiny is good enough for me =]

Actually I'm on mobile right now and the shelter seems perfectly normal

Possibly a dress up contest for green pokemon.I would so want to do this and besides other groups are doing it anyway.Plus I have not done a dress up contest since the KOTRT contest in October last year

@mobile It works for me.What was weird was that earlier the shelter only gave me a ? was a durant/drilbut eggs

I'd say a spriting contets might be fun, but since not everyone here can sprite I guess a dressuop contest would be cool too

I'm up for the idea of a dress up contest. I've been inactive for a while and i never got to do one of the site-wide ones....sooo yeah

It might be cool, but I'm already hunting it...And it's slow going. XD

The reason a Roggenmorpha hunt might not be the best bet is because it is a novelty, and is quite difficult to obtain, most cases only finding an egg every time you use novel power which can only be used twice a day, so you'd be limited to potentially two eggs per day which would suck for a shiny race. I mean i personally like to hatch as many eggs per day as possible, several hundred per day would work better for a sh race then less then 10 xD but thats just my opinion i guess =P

I agree with jaysus..Its kinda hard to get the novelty egg from a breeding pair other then the novel pass power..And its almost impossible to find one in the shelter now..I have only hatched 8 since the August 1st and i have used the novel power 4 times..

Right, so there has been no contest as of yet, to apologise we are having a mini contest, a Banner making contest which is precisely what it sounds like. Similar to a dress up contest, the idea is you design a banner for the group, voting will begin shortly after hand in. Entries to be PM'd to Moonlit when i give a date; i'm yet to discuss this with moonlit, so hold off PM-ing util i post a date for hand in, for now work on the banners.

I will personally gift the 3 best banner creators with a trinket from my own collection, however its entirely possible it will be a dup but a high rarity. Since there won't be a 1st 2nd or 3rd, chances are the trinkets will be a Rarity 7 or 8. A poll will be posted shortly after a deadline date for the contest hand in which will be set at a later date.

To sum up the last 2 paragraphs, work on your banner entries, DO NOT PM Moonlit until i have set a date to, deadline will be set, polls will be up shortly after, voting, then prizes. I hope this gives you all something productive to do while you are waiting on a group wide contest. Good luck

Oh yeah! Banner making contest, I am soooo doing this!

One question, are we allowed to make more than 1 banner for this? because I might want to make a whole bunch, it's just what I do.

I'd say make one for the contest, you are more then welcome to make others if you like but keep it to one entry per person other wise it might not be fair =] By all means make more though and we can use them =]

Well Malachites, you asked for a contest, now here it is!

First off, we have the mini-contest which will be a banner-making contest for the group, which you will decide the winner based on votes! Prizes will be handed out to three winners by Jaysus, and will be either a Rarity 7 or 8 trinket! You can send in your entries from now until the 10th, with "Mini Paper" in the Subject. Then I will set up a poll for everyone to vote on until the 14th. The winners will then be given their prizes!

Secondly, and the anxiously waited for contest, the Dress-up Contest! This contest is simple: Dress up a pokemon, normal or shiny, that is majorly a Malachite's colors. Not ambiguous, or only having a small bit of green, but having the majority of the pokemon be green. Submissions for the contest will be from now until the 14th, when the mini-contest's winners will be given their prizes. Send in your contest entry, both the Dress-up sprite and the Usercard (in case it shows up wonky) with the subject "Pretty Green Dress". Voting will be from the 15th until the 19th (Sunday), and prizes will be revealed along with the winners of the mini-contest.
