I have a ton of chests just waiting to be opened, too... and they will... later... mwahahaha.

New trinkets! My (somehow exactly) 2000 chests and I are ready!

(I am a bit inclined to agree with Thor94, though; there's nearly 3k trinkets on the market, and while chance power is definitely very useful, it gets harder not to be buried under tons of trinkets you already have with every new set coming out, even with chance power activated.)

Awww... I don't have X unopen chests, but I have some new trinkets and I'm happy ^ ^ Maybe other people want trade new trinket for December (I need only 12 >.>)

Shouldn't have the race startet today? Or is the year (2013) in the date not the only thing that is wrong? Maybe the race doesn't and even won't start, because 2013 is stored in the database or something like that, haha.

OMG! I never even picked up on the year thing, Vesus! It does make one wonder. I stayed up late tonight hoping to find what daycare couple I needed to begin with (if I had them) but so far... nothing. If the year is stalling the works I'm thinking it'll take an Admin to fix and that might have to wait until morning (or morning for them whatever time that may be). So I guess that means I should scurry off to bed and just do what I can tomorrow to jump in with both fee... hands to click.

Was wondering that myself. But given the links to the SWSH pages in the Shine Recorder haven't worked since the new site launched (not even for the hunts that have happened since then!) I suspect in general that the hunts have a rather low priority level.

Yes, to me, it looks like that as well. After all, the announcement is still misleading (the hunt does NOT start, there is a sign up day before) and the mistakes are still in the text, even though they were reported (the 2013 thing too).
But I think that it's just how it looks to us and not how it is. I don't want to believe that something unique like the SWSH has a rather low priority level

The lack of the multiplier that normally goes with the start of the SWSH as well.
This is going to lose some of us time :/

I really don't remember. I've been inactive for quite awhile, and came back on the first of the year. I was excited for this SWSH too...

@Vesus: I hope the SWSH has a high priority too. Doesn't have to be the highest, and probably shouldn't be, but it's a fun community event, I'd hope it would.

Yup, that's usually the case, which is why this one struck me as odd when the 16th rolled around and there was no info on the pokemon we're supposed to be hunting. At first, I just chalked it up to it needing to be manually changed, so it would when one of the admins got on to change it... but I'm not sure what's up now since the 16th's come and gone. We'll see what happens, I wouldn't worry too much since things like this usually give some type of compensation or leeway for lost time.




Well, hopefully in this case, we're given a day or two of leeway to make up for it since the hunts usually start the voting process (if we get the option, since the admins occasionally pick the choices themselves) around the 8th-12 and usually starts anywhere from the 12th to the 15th (IIRC, the November one started up around the 14th and the September one started around the 12th).

Update! The hunt start will be pushed back a day, but other than that, everything should go as originally planned. Sorry for the inconvenience. So the hunt will start at 11:55 PM EST on 17 January.

If you're wondering, because of the way the script works, waiting a day is the best solution to the problem.

No. It's only 24 hours. Again, apologies for the inconvenience, but you still have two weeks to complete the hunt.

So tomorrow is sign up and the hunt starts on Sunday? Isn't it possible to have sign up and an immediate start both tomorrow?

Sorry about that one, guys. It's a pretty easy mistake to make, especially in January. I manually started the signups, so it'll start tonight at reset as originally planned, yup yup.

I'm not, totally excited for the choices, since I have all the Final evolutions for each, but, since I'm one of the many going for a Living Shiny Dex, I'll still try to get all the evolutions I guess. I'll start with the 5,12k maturity ones, learned from experience with Bagon in September.

Thanks for the update on the shiny hunt! As soon as someone pointed out the 2013 I figured it was a typo that 9 out of 10 of us make in the working world as well. Hard to be upset about something like that when you find yourself guilty of it as well. LOL And yay! I get 24 hrs to find a male and female of Houndour. *hearts* I have the other ones but not that one as my remake of my Dex is only on G. LOL

Can't wait to see what he looks like all shiny-ed up! (hopefully I'll get that chance first hand hahahahahaha)
