Yay! One Battle Expansion finally got! but I don't know when I got it... (my current streak is at 195, and keeping going on...) Ok, I've read battle expansion cames at 150, 225, 300... so it explains everything xD And finally I beated Lucian (The 4gen psychic elite) his mr mime was tough with such speed... (crobat, rapidash and mightyenna worked) So I reached Cynthia, that was very easy o3o I only have one comb left >x< (Drake#2 is always beating me xD) Edit (Again): The streak ended at 232 ALL were defeated by criticals (and one more attack and I win... ) There's a topic in the main GPX discussion page that lists all the Elite Four teams if you're having trouble. And who'd you lose to? I have my own notes for elites, and they are pretty good xD I'm just thinking about drake#2, and the last time he defeated me by a critical attack, so I have a bit of hope... about the streak, I don't mind the team that makes me lose if they were because of the criticals, I know I could beat them without the criticals, the last pkmn was an ice-cherrim with half life and I got my All Mighty Mightyena with almost full HP and more than 450 in attack base... A random steelix made me get in troubles, but finally I defeated it, so now for steelix I'm using another strategy for not getting troubles... Now that I have 9 slots more, I will focus on some fairy types (I want to try granbull and florges) Edit: I use a Florges for Drake#2 and it works xD (and stoping haxorus outrage with stunfisk c: ) So finally, the last comb is mine! Congrats on the last comb! And if you're gonna use a Fairy type, go with Azumarill. Y'all missed it, but Lucca Majere just beat down VK in an intense fight. I vote Lucca becomes new E4. After some team shuffling, my white whale has been conquered. I invited him to perhaps join as the last Elite Four. EDIT: Almost immediate rejection to the invitation. LOL it makes me laugh "immediate rejection" xDDDD And I want some fairies and only fairy type... If I wanted to use some dual type, I would use M-Mawile Florges with sand gem it's pretty good (and iron defense) This post has been edited by GothMetal: Jun 29 2015, 03:38 AM -------------------- |

Check out Aromatisse, GothMetal. It's got a more well rounded defensive set than Florges, and a better offensive stat (SA) too. The thing to watch out for is that it's painfully slow....but its HP is MUCH better, so it may be worth investing some time into one.

If I wanted to use some dual type, I would use M-Mawile Florges with sand gem it's pretty good (and iron defense) I think part of the problem with the Fairies you mentioned is that none of them are going to outspeed most of the often used Subway Pokemon except maybe Florges. I think you might want to use Agility with whichever one you pick. Florges would be faster than nearly every Pokemon. Clefable would be a bit more defensively balanced and would match up nicely after an Agility. Granbull's speed would be somewhere in the 300 range after Agility, making it plenty fast and offering the biggest attack. -------------------- |

I see... I will see their stats and so..
I have 3 good florges (two are leveling up) with a good nature the 3 And in the game I prefer resist than speed, because "speeders" has paper defenses and one hit by a splash magikarp and they're gone ... but here it's different, I have to check them -------------------- |

Aww, shoot, Natures count here too?
All this time I've just been going by IVs. Wow, I really do need to read Sam's Battle Guide... -------------------- Avatar by Cycloneblaze at Cycloneshop II Banner by http://gpx.plus/user/eevee64 Banner by http://gpx.plus/user/Baymax |

I'm taking more importance for nature than ivs
And finally I see the total stats, and compare with anothers... By the way I have a Timid rapidash with a physical set, but it's pretty good yet (but not as good as it can be, but I always forget to take ponyta eggs xD) -------------------- |

I mean, tanks are just as important, like how Azumarill is slow yet is better than the majority of the speedy sweepers out there due to its vast defensive prowess. In this sense, I like Iron Defense and Nasty Plot on Florges, or Amnesia on Aromatisse. Since even WITH Agility, Aromatisse won't be outspeeding anything anytime soon.... -------------------- |

When you need to do a change, is better to have a tank (if you don't have a pkmn that counters the type) And azumarill is not a problem when it appears at battle subway (jolteon cleans it! xD) but is a good choice, but it's too seen and typical, that I prefer to use some others xD and Bold Florges has pretty good defenses too c: and a "Strong" move! (that's why I want a one-type fairy) -------------------- |

My point about speed goes along with using a Gem. If you aren't fast enough to either boost yourself first or attack first against a Pokemon presumably with type advantage against you, there's not much of a point in having the Gem.
I get on the swap that Florges could use Iron Defense and turn its bad defense into a good one, but it's still gonna eat a super effective move before it can attack. And its attack isn't strong enough to OHKO a Pokemon with its Gem attack. If you use Agility on the swap, you'll more than likely put yourself in position to attack first and if the opponent doesn't swap out after the first attack, kill it during the second turn. Finally, I can't recall your entire team, but I would warn you against loading up on too many monotypes. It's nice to have the defensive flexibility of dual types. I have a ludicolo, jynx and crobat, but now I only use crobat... I have too scrafty, weavile, and mega gengar + vivillon to run tests...
I have my team balanced on types more or less... I have a trinity (psychic, dark, fighting) dragon, poison, flying and electric (fire&ice with gem).... before this team, I had water, fire, grass, psychic, ice, fighting, ground and electric (dragon&poison with gem), and they gave me a 15 streak "record" so... now I have my longest streak with 232 xD that must to be something... But I know what you say... -------------------- |

Pretty solid Deoxys!
I'd give it a Choice Scarf/Band/Specs and truly let it shine. It's pretty impressive. -------------------- |

I put ice gem, for grass and dragon types... but for another water type it has nothing to do... -------------------- |

It still gives you something against Grass types and would be something against other Water types. -------------------- |

I might go with a Ground Gem, on the basis that electric types are more common competitively and, I think Subway-wise, than Grassers. (I see, on average, one Ampharos per three trainers...and that doesn't include the other electric types!)
In the meantime...holy tar, this Pichu. Not that I wanted a battle Raichu, but even with a cruddy neutral nature, this is tough to ignore: -------------------- |

I must agree with natures almost mattering more than IVs. Lets say you use a special attacker, then you obviously don't want a nature that decrease that stat. (Speaking of which, I still haven't switched my modest dugtrio) xD When it get to IVs I almost find that the placement of them are more important than the actual amount. Lets say you use that special attacker again, then who really cares if it got 0 IVs at the atk stat and lowering the total amount of IVs.
