I recently finished The Book of Deacon, which is apparently the first part of a series or trilogy and despite the reviews on Amazon/Goodreads, I enjoyed it enough that I'm considering buying the next one. It has a few pacing issues in my opinion, but it was a good read while waiting around at a craft show.

The other book I finished was Plot & Structure, which has a typo near the end that made me laugh: "campaign manager having an affair with the mayor's window". It was quite the informative and useful read.

Ick, it just hit me that I have surgery in two weeks. Of course, this is also during finals weeks, so I've been trying to prepare my students as best as I can, which is difficult when they insist on getting 1 out of 100 points on exams.

Oh woah! A teacher! Thank you for that profession choice, Bladed Darkness. Sorry to hear about the upcoming surgery; I hope that it will be straight forward and the recovery time will be short so that you'll be back to full speed in no time. The good thing about a GPX habit? You can do it sitting down or lying down.

Typos in printed books for purchase really irk me, too. I mean, I know I'm not the best in grammar or what not, but sheesh! Some times the typos that escape the people PAID to sit there and CATCH those typos really grinds my gears. >:

My Valencian Oddish just hatched and it's pretty cool. I'd like to evolve it to see how Valencian Bellosom looks like.

@Mamanator I find typos pretty interesting in a way. Not only I get an opportunity to guess what actually it might have been, typos may really change the context, as Bladed Darkness said regarding the mayor's "window". XD

I completely forgot the Oddish line has two final evolutions. More shiny novelties I need to hunt. @_@

I know you're right and I should just laugh them off. I guess it just gets to me when, for my work, there have been Board members that criticize my drafts of the meeting minutes and get all worked up over no commas or the wrong word inserted and not picked up on (like window as opposed to widow) because Spell Check didn't see anything wrong with it. So when I see how the editors of these books fall down on the job it just gets to me. Ah well. Guess I need more practice with letting things go and finding the humor in it as opposed to. *blush*

Age of Ultron came this year, it wouldn't make sense to have another one next year (especially since it wasn't "Age of Ultron Part 1").

And I got the games that I ordered today. Finally something to play on PS4.

So do I! I have to put my first oddish in the daycare, or I'll buy a voucher.
I'm happy if the raffle choices suits some people, it's good to know =)

120 Chestos.... was planning on rushing through the specials as I need to complete that Christmas exploration I know is packed with leveling tasks.
Narrowing down what I still need done, soon it'll be just Burning Desire and DotW(Just need a Flame shard to do this)





I forgot as well until I checked to see if Gloom still evolved into Vileplume the same way. I didn't even see Bellosom when I scrolled down to see what the new novelty was on my Pokedex until I saw the two options Gloom had. I decided to have him evolve into Vileplume as it was raining and I wanted to see if the one I bred would be a female.
Just waiting for the sunny weather now.

Still running through king of the temple or whatever the Regigigigigigsduifgesgas exploration is. Need motivation.. lack of it. Ha. Think I'll be doing the legendary Beasts this month and whatever else I feel like doing.

I'm so excited to have at least gotten one of the SWSH shinies: Litleo! My first SWSH and my first shiny! I'm kind of bummed I evolved it, though. Oh well.

I just can't believe it's December already. It will be my older son's 3rd Christmas and my new son's 1st Christmas and our first family Christmas ever. We've always been traveling to other family members' houses, which are fun, but my rambunctious toddler requires complete child-proofing and nobody believes me until he's hanging from a chandelier. (Which apparently only gives ME heart attacks, everyone else laughs and compliments his gross motor skills. ).

I hate winter. The cold gets in my joints and bones and I just can't get warm. I'm facing my first East Coast winter since I was 6. So homesick for Texas.

Thank goodness I have Pokemon to distract me. I'm going to make my sons start out with Gen 1.

December will be quieter op[efully now that the family holiday was done early this year. Which is good because I have a commission I need to finish and some other stuff to work on.

After talking with everyone, it looks like I'm going to have to see Krampus by myself. This'll be odd since I've never gone to the theater alone before.

Congrats on your first shiny mon! Having first shiny actually makes any player gleeful and confident. I remember how I hatched an Emolga as my first shiny. And surprisingly, I've hatched shiny mons only in SWSH month. XD So I guess no shiny this month.

As an editor who doesn't always get enough hours...THISTHISTHIS SO MUCH THIS. Hire me! I'm good and I like learning new things!

...Wow. My boyfriend's nephew and niece are 7 and 4 and I don't think they've ever done THAT...but they've gotten darn close. Lol. It always amazes me how energetic kids can be. I think of myself as pretty energetic, but phew!

Also, Pokemon is totally a family game. My brother got my mom started on LeafGreen shortly before Thanksgiving and she loves it. <3

I had rotten luck this SWSH as per usual! Buizel took me over 400 eggs and I had a day and a half for Cubone. Didn't have high hopes for him. Eh. But on the plus side, I hatched a shiny Past Misdreavus last night! Spoopy Plate get. Now I just have Future Shuppet to go, and then I need to either start Mega hunting or continuing to work on Undaunted (I'll have 2 left after I get Future Shuppet).

Infamous: Second Son and The Last of Us Remastered. I bought my PS4 in a bundle with Batman: Arkham Knight but I've to play the other 3 first (which I've bought a few months ago, but didn't play since I was busy playing Sly Cooper and Ratchet & Clank).

I think they were talking about the Civil War movie, which is shaping up to involve all the Avengers despite the Captain America tagline. Also, good choice in getting Second Son. I'm certain it won't disappoint you.

Yup, that was the movie I was thinking of. I haven't seen any previews or anything for it. I guess it sounds like it is in the creation stages then? I'm fine with that, too. I really enjoy the super hero series, but worry that Iron Man won't be super any longer. Though, I suppose, that's ok. There's always Hot Pepper now....

Good luck to everyone who still has school, I'm right there with you. Though I just figured out even if I get a 50 on my last two tests I'd still pass, so that takes some of the pressure off, lol. I think when school's over though I'm literally going to sleep for about three days. It'll be great.

I got a voucher for the Valencian Oddish since I want Vileplume and Bellosom, and I'm shiny hunting it because I'm a glutton for punishment. I hope the shiny is neat! I really like it... it's subtle, but it's still cool.
