Actually, that sounds like a much better idea. The Starbucks near my house is always so loud. I think I will go to Books-A-Million instead. I just have so so so much work to do today, but grocery shopping has exhausted me. Buuuuuuut I FINALLY EVOLVED MY GROWLITHE IN GO YOU STILL HAVE A BOOKS-A-MILLION I AM SO JEALOUS Time is going by so fast, in 3 months it'll be Christmas . I'm totally not prepared at all this year, I'm dreading it to be honest XD. Pretty soon they'll be starting Christmas music at the mall *shudders*. Same...since I've had all this work drama I decided to make everyone's presents instead of buying this year. Picked up a few cross-stitch bookmark patters. Trouble is, I don't know who would like what or when I'd have time to actually make them orz A cricket made its way into our house at some point and we can't find it and it likes to hang out in our bedroom so I haven't been sleeping very well ;w; I'm glad you got to see your daughter, Mamanator Halloween? I'm gonna be Kylo Hen. Might wear it one day at MAG next year too. The thing with that is I found patterns to make it, but a) my sewing machine is missing a part and I have no idea when that will be taken care of and b) I found a costume on Amazon for not that much more. I'd feel like a pleb if I bought it, though. I GOT MY SHINY GOTH FLOWER LAST NIGHT YAY ninjedit: hahaha RicFule that is such an awesome idea and if I were in the fandom I would 100000% do it This post has been edited by KatTheBard: Sep 26 2016, 11:57 AM -------------------- |

Digi Tri (click to show ) DigimonTri (click to show ) ------------------------------------------------------------------ Right now my buddy is Vulpix. My buddy was Growlithe, but then I managed to hatch one and get the candy I needed. I will have to find the picture I took of Arcanine as my buddy. The size comparison was glorious! Edit: Size Comparison (click to show ) I find size comparisons to be very off because my Dratini is supposed to be 2m but it seems smaller than me. -------------------------------------------------------------------- more Tri things (click to show ) Tristuff (click to show ) -------------------------------------------------------------------- I had a pretty good weekend and a wonderful day yesterday. Remember how I was stressing out about not being able to see my eldest whose off in college for her first semester/year? Well... things worked out where the church excused me for not being there to participate in the primary program and we all went to visit and spend the day with her yesterday. Turns out? I definitely needed yesterday with her as much as she needed yesterday with us. Seeing her face when we walked into her dorm room (which her roommate left unlocked when she left for work) and woke her up was priceless! Wide eyed and mouth hanging open wondering if she were still dreaming. It was a grand day! By the by... does this mean on Pokemon Go! we can now have buddy Pokemon? Are they available at any level? Or only if certain criteria have been met? I'm happy to hear that everything went well and that you all had a good time. As for the buddy Pokemon, that update was released a few weeks ago. I don't know what level you need to be but you do have to update the Pokemon GO app. So be sure to do that :P -------------------- |

There's always a part of you that realizes how much you miss someone once they've "moved away" (for all intents and purposes) but! Until you see them again... you never really know just how much you miss them until that moment you see them again. Also, thanks for that note about the Buddy in Pokemon Go! I had heard that it had updated, but I swear! Until just now... I could not find how to add a buddy for mine. *blush* Maybe that was a recent update that just finished, not sure. But I now have a buddy. My startle, lil ole Squirtle. Poor CP 55 Squirtle. LOL I had, just yesterday, used the only 3 Squirtle candies I had to move him up from CP 13 to 55. And how sweet! A way I can FINALLY earn more candies for him! By walking with him. *happy dances* Perhaps, by Christmas, he'll finally be at a fighting level. LOL So - thank you! -------------------- |

We have exactly one Books-a-Million near me (well, sort of near me; I guess 30 or so miles away still counts when you have a city this huge), and it's... pretty weird in there. It always feels sad and empty and dingy, but the mall it's in isn't like that at all. Just that store. It is a neat store, though. I'm just not used to seeing them.
Halloween... ugh. That yet again reminds me of how fast the time is flying. I think I'll sit this Halloween out again, especially since I moved to a new house and have no idea if anyone in this neighborhood even trick or treats. I usually give out candy, but who knows if we'll have visitors. SWSH-wise, I'm not doing well. 206 eggs so far, and Budew just won't shine. :/ My buddy in Pokémon GO is currently Ivysaur. I have no fully-evolved starters yet. In fact, I should get a Charmeleon already as I have the other two of that middle stage... -------------------- Check my GPXPlus journal to see what I contributed to the site! Didn't get to really do the RP, but that's okay. I'm just happy to be talking to some old friends again.
Ended up getting a Manaphy egg, too, so it's been an OK Monday so far. -------------------- Foobs.

Until you see them again... you never really know just how much you miss them until that moment you see them again. Oh, definitely. This is also true if you're the one moving. I work with my mom and Facebook with my brother and talk to my dad all the time but I miss them dearly. Even though it's kind of a (very) long drive, I'm glad that I can drive down to visit once in a while -------------------- |

There is this huge and beautiful Books-A-Million about five minutes from my house. It used to be a Borders, and they are my favorite bookstore to go to. It was just weird to go there and not buy books.
At the library on campus today, there was an event for Banned Books Week that was button making, so I now have ten or so on my backpack of various things. Shiny Snorunt is evading me, it seems. Also, why does no one breed Cranidos? I can only ever find them in the lab. -------------------- |

Halloween, my favorite time of the year. <3 I was so happy that I wore my green plaid jacket to work. IT WAS COLD ENOUGH FOR ME TO DO THAT. Yeah. <3
Also, I have amazing news. You know the whole updates that I usually dropped in this thread about how I need to get my license so I can be the Assistant Manager that my former Assistant Manager needs? Well, she actually visited the store today because she's great friends with my Manager so they were going to do lunch. I planed to let her in on my idea, because my Anxiety was telling me that she might not go for that for some reason. Of course, she got me sidetracked with a different conversation (that was equally important) before she headed off to lunch with my Manager (They got me food too btw) and she had to get to her store afterwards so I thought that I missed my chance to tell her. Luckily for me, my Manager remembered. Anyways, to sum it up, she would have me over there in a heartbeat over the guy she has now. When I asked my Manager if she was okay with me over there she looked at me like it was the dumbest thing I ever asked her. Which, it was a dumb question. My A.M. was always telling my Manager how hardworking and sweet I was. My goal is to get my license before Halloween and to hopefully start there in November. -------------------- |

Ah, a nice lazy Sunday with the day off and a nice rain giving me the excuse not to go outside. Just to relax, draw, play Yoshi's Woolly World... <3 Ahh that reminds me I really need to finish Yoshi's Woolly World! My sister and I started playing it in two player mode (which I find so much better than the one player), and I think we got around two thirds of the way through, but haven't played it in months ^^; Speaking of games, I finally finished playing Fire Emblem Birthright! Now I've started playing Conquest, which my sister said is much harder (and sadder) than Birthright. I haven't been able to come here as much as I've wanted to the last couple of weeks. I've been sick and busy with uni work " This week is mid-semester break for uni, so I have no classes. Now I can focus on resting up this week and hopefully get better. We also picked up our new dog end of last week! Here she is: meet Sable! (click to show ) -------------------- |

Yes, I've been wondering about that as well. All the Mega pokémon can evolve back to their base form with a DNA Splicer, but I have never seen one of those anywhere.
Is there any way to get it currently, or is it not available yet? I think that there is an exploration for Xerneas and Yveltal, but it's a special exploration, so it's not always available. There's one for Zygarde as well (it's available right now), and I remember reading somewhere that all the legendaries have explorations. So far the only way to obtain DNA Splicers have been through scratch cards, which have only been given out for three events so far. There is no exploration for Yveltal and Xerneas yet. There probably will be in the future, it just needs to be created first. -------------------- All my stuff is viewable by everyone on my public page. I honestly think they should get to work on a Xerneas/Yvetal exploration soon, since Gen7 is coming up.

Is that like a library of some sort??? I'm not looking forward to Halloween itself since nobody celebrates it but it's around the time information about my Racing Miku 2016 shipping dates should be revealed so... I guess I'm somewhat looking forward to that??? And of course the amazing events that websites abroad come up with to celebrate Halloween. I've hatched 175 Budew so far. No shiny for me yet either. Then again... egg amounts mean nothing xD There's times I got a shiny in 12 eggs, and times I've got one after 800-something eggs. As for buddy, mine's still Dratini and today I've obtained the first candy. 1/4th into getting my second candy from it. -------------------- |

Mom and I finally reorganized the freezers and now the fridge is full of food that's too frozen to eat yet. It'll be ready tomorrow, I guess. I didn't know we still had frozen strawberries or that we had frozen bananas. There's going to be smoothies for desert tonight!

I got to cleaning my home after a while, usually my gf handles it. I think She's never moved the bed away to sweep. I swaer those dust bunnies where moving. It is a heavy bed, so probably that's why we rarely move it.
As for the SWSH no shinies. I got that blasted shiny anorith a few minutes after reset and no I can't seem to get one that will count for the hunt. |

...dumb question I know but what is Books-a-Million? Is that like a library of some sort??? It's a bookstore, like Borders or Barnes & Noble. Just a different name with a slightly different selection because of branding. -- As for GPX, I'm having little luck. The poke hunt ones I've hatched so far have been terrible IVs. No Shinies. And I can't seem to beat this group in the battle tower. Ugh. -------------------- |

I hatched my second shiny Budew for the SWSH earlier today. It took over 358 eggs for it to hatch, my longest SWSH shiny this month. I have started hatching for shiny Anorith but I don't see it hatching before the end of the SWSH. I'll be really surprised if it does hatch though, my luck has been weird this month so you never know .
Nice, Honey+ is going to start at reset, I was hoping that it would. It makes searching for eggs that much easier. Can't wait for the multipliers either, hopefully they are fairly high to make hatching eggs fast. So tired tonight, but I'm not sleepy. I moved a good chunk of freight in the 4 hours that I worked today. I had to pack up our summer stuff and clear out the back room. It took a long time to move everything around so I could put the 5 boxes I packed up away. I have to do a bunch more tomorrow if I get the chance, I have a feeling I'll be stuck around cash tomorrow. It tends to be extremely busy during the day and slows down at night, makes my day that much slower. Still sick with the flu too, my nose is still running like a faucet. I still have a cough as well and my energy isn't that great either. At least I'll be off this weekend, I'll be able to relax and hopefully get rid of this flu. -------------------- |

Still sick with the flu too, my nose is still running like a faucet. I still have a cough as well and my energy isn't that great either. At least I'll be off this weekend, I'll be able to relax and hopefully get rid of this flu. Feel better soon! I'm definitely coming down (have come down?) with some kind of cold. My throat feels scratchy, and that's never a good sign. I don't really care too much as long as it goes away before my trip to visit my girlfriend, and that won't be for another week, so I think I'm good. Books-a-Million sort of reminds me of Suncoast with regards to how they used to be more of a thing and then... sort of disappeared for the most part. I've actually been to the first Suncoast I've seen since 2005 or so when I went to Oregon last year. I thought they were ALL gone. -------------------- Check my GPXPlus journal to see what I contributed to the site! Interested in a commission? PM me. |

Finally starting to feel like a human being again, and some of my art block has lifted. If only I could get this same drive for proofreading back...
Also glad for Honey+ again. I'm a lameass and only got one for the SWSH, but I'll keep trying on my regular hunts! Plus I kinda want to shave my shiny Mareep so I need to keep hatching them for shears. -------------------- Foobs.

315 Budew eggs and still nothing. Kinda lost hope...
But hooraay for the multipler and honey +. Does make hunting a bit easier! Btw... I am on that burning desire so if you'd like to help me out by feeding my berry task pokemons? This post has been edited by Esmee1993: Sep 28 2016, 09:29 AM -------------------- |
