Oh snap, I tried Mystery Gift and was able to download the Munchlax and Snorlium Z. I didn't think I could because I hadn't reached the first pokecenter yet.

For SWSH, I voted Munchlax (Naturally!), Rowlet (In honor of my new starter), and Igglybuff (It jumped out at me while going down the list!).

I looked up the Pokebank that was mentioned here and was stunned to see a QR code for it. I really do need to read the instruction book to see what else I'm missing out on with this New 3DS. I thought it was free but noticed in the fine print that it was 5 bucks a year to use it. Yikes. Guess I'll stick to the boxes in the game.

I don't actually USE the Snorlium Z move, though I do like the actual pokemon. My Snorlax's move set is: High Horsepower, Yawn, Hold Back, and Happy Hour.

Do you have the digital copies of Blue, Red, or Yellow? Because at some point in the near future, you'll be able to use them with PokeBank. I'm waiting for that to happen so I can actually finish playing Blue and Red with all three starters. Yellow is different since you can get all the starters naturally. And in the long run, $5 isn't that bad for a year's access if you have multiple games and want to get them all into the latest.

@ Silver: Yeah. Forget that. My Party is overpowered now. If I use anything OTHER than Hold Back, the poor Wimpod would faint anyway.

I got the event Munchlax as well, though I didn't use it in my team. It was just a quick way to get the PokeDex entry, really. I'm also interested in getting PokeBank for the sake of transferring my OR Shinies and the event Manaphy, the latter so I can Masuda Method breed Phione.

Also, I don't like how much Pokemon Nintendo Shiny-locked this gen. I get making the Lunala/Solgaleo you initially have to catch in the end-game uncatchable, but what about being able SR Necrozma and the other Ultra Beasts or

All that can be soft resetted that can't be bred now is just Type: Null.

I wanted to take a quick moment to stop by and thank Luneon for the sweet egg I received yesterday. I am truly grateful for it. I didn't keep an empty party slot on purpose and the monthly distribution event was furthest from my mind. So when I saw it I had to blink a few times at it to understand. Then it clicked.

Thank you! That exploration is one of the worst for me and I totally detest it. So I am ever so grateful that I was one of the lucky recipients of that egg trio. A million thanks for choosing that one, Luneon. A million sincere thanks!

What goals does everybody have for GPX+ for 2017, then?

I have a few main goals myself:

• Finish my box of Shiny Axew
• Complete my Ancient Plate collection (and subsequently collect all of the Arceus)
• Further finish my Shiny Dex
• Raise my site ranking

I'd like to get back into the top 10 as of when I get a free day to go for a clicking spree. Could try it before I start back at uni, hmm. Might have to see how the next Pass+ feels whilst clicking before I decide.

I need to also get a higher Subway streak before I take on DotW again or I'll be stuck on Task 11 for ages ha.

I don't actually have any goals. Yes, I'd like to complete my Plate collection as well, but I'm not ACTIVELY hunting any of the types I still need. If I see them in passing, sure, I'll grab the egg, but ...

And it might be a while before Pass is active again, since Prize is set to start tomorrow and Pass only has 1% done.

I missed when they didn't shiny lock things.
They never give the "locked" shinies as an event...... outside of their oh so favorite Japan anyways. I'm just thankful we actually managed to get the shiny Kalos trio legends last gen.

I'd like to do it without a Plus day active (which I think is what I was trying to go for but didn't come out right.

My plates are starting to get very specific now and most of the stuff I already have shinies for. The four remaining hunts I have (sans Burmy) should each give me a shard, presuming I don't finish them on the same day, so I'm hoping for that.

Ah. So, if you want to do it WITH an active Plus power, you can do it tomorrow. And if you want to do it WITHOUT, 4 days from now. And I was thinking you wanted the Pass+ so you could grab all 8 trillion eggs from the Shelter to hatch for potential shinies.

I have 6 Plates left to finish myself: Dread {1}, Earth {2}, Icicle {1}, Iron {2}, Meadow {1}, and Sky {3}. So, I only have 10 Shards left to hatch. Or Rank 1 in a weekly hunt, I guess.

It's actually planned for this month. SM to be compatible with Pokémon Bank and RBY with Poké Transporter.

My goals for 2017 on GPX include:

-Obtaining Arceus (currently trying to get either ground or water plates. ground because I somehow hatched 2 ground shinies, now I'm stuck trying to get more. water because water shinies tend to be my favorites. maybe psychic too but I dont think i have any of those plates yet)

-Finishing my legendary pokedex

-Finish up some achievements I've been waiting to work on

-Somehow get the combs from the Battle Tower. Although I'm so bad at the battling and I'm really not looking forward to it, I need to finish my pokedex, darn it!

On a side note, I was trying to finish up my pokedex in Sun, but I got a little sidetracked by the battle tree. Enjoying that a lot. xD I haven't gotten

I know. Hence the "near future" in my original post. I just wasn't sure of what DATE they're planning. Or if a date even is planned yet.

The "shiny Kalos trio legends" were region locked due to only a few places having access to that event.

Japan is very tolerant when it comes to fiction.
My country.... not so much :/
Fiction is often called "childish" or "immature" if it doesn't contain certain other themes.

Money and effort wise, it's just amazingly easy and cheap to make deals with Japanese stores and companies.

Nah, don't have any other pokemon games besides Moon at the moment, but I can see how that'd be useful.



Probably to keep hatching shiny pokemon. I decided last year to start hatching shiny pokemon I need starting from the very beginning of the pokedex. I've reached Mankey thus far, with Magnemite and Farfetch'd coming up next (which worked really well with the event last month! hehe).

Actually I've been wanting to do an analysis about my goals for 2016 and talk about new ones for 2017 for a couple of days now but always forgot. This is want I posted in February:



At the end of the year I didn't managed to get on top 50 (closest was 60-ish) nor I managed to get all legendaries (I was missing Volcanion since it was introduced but other than that had all legendaries since May). So, despite a half year semi-hiatus, I did almost everything that I challenged myself to. For 2017:

- Get at least on top 50;
- Get the Undaunted achievement;
- Get 99% of all Trinkets;
- Get Arceus [Normal] (let's hope that the staff classifies him (still a Mystery Egg after all these months (at least since December 2015, when VK got all of them)) and introduces a normal way to get it);
- Get at least on top 20 of Most Battle Subway Battles Entered (#58);
- Get at least on top 20 of Most Battle Subway Battles Won (#57);
- Get at least on top 10 of Longest Battle Subway Streak (#25);
- Get at least on top 50 of Most Helpful (#72).

I've been thinking about trying to get Elite Clicker this month since (if everything goes right) I'll be on uni vacations, and I could add it on the list, but I don't want to risk it.

I hope I get one of these eggs. x3

Well, I still don't have many goals outside of Shiny Hunting on GPXPlus. I might try to get all Shiny Eeveelutions at one point and get all the possible exploration Legendary and Mythical Pokemon barring Arceus. Once the latter is said and done with, I might go do DotW for the first time and get my first Arceus.

-Complete the Dex Completion Achievements section
-Complete the Novelty Dex (well, at least the few I have missing currently, since I know more are coming)
-Obtain the rest of the Mega Stones
