Hello everyone!
I'm not on the forums much, but I thought I'd drop in and say hi--even though it's the last day of September, haha. ^^; I noticed mentions of Pokemon Shuffle--who all plays? How far are you? I've been stuck at Mega Mawile, so I've been working on catching 'mon from earlier levels (still can't catch Gastly DX ) and have been spending most of my lives the past few days on the Giratina event. I've already caught it, so now I'm just trying to get to level 50 to get the prize. Also, if it's not too much trouble, I've got a Pinkan Rhydon that needs Chesto Berries. Could you lend a hand? It'd be much appreciated! http://gpx.plus/info/CpMwY |

Looks like I got my #1 choice for the raffle! What Pokemon are you guys hoping to see in the giveaway next month? I'm hoping my choice is relatively sought after. I got my #3. Which was precisely the best scenario. Also, I'm surprised no one filled Prize+. We probably had the same #1 or #2 choice then. My second and third choices are from legendary explorations that are pretty overdue, so hopefully at least one pops up on the explo list this month. -------------------- |

I don't NEED it, since I already have it caught, but it's not on my game. EDIT - I still need to catch Entei, Suicune, and Xerneas in the Expert levels, and Braixen, Tyranitar, Avalugg, and Salamence in the Main stages. And still need 62 more S Ranks in the main stages. And a few more Expert S Ranks, but they don't really count towards unlocking additional Expert pokemon, do they? I think it's just the Main levels? Barely got through the first one. XD As for Giratina, I think it might be only on the mobile version? I'm not sure--I know Latias is (sadly) only on the 3DS version, so... *shrug* |

I suspect Giratina is on Mobile right now since I play 3DS. Did anyone else notice Views came back? -------------------- |

I didn't really care for Gen 5. I mean, I thought the story in the games was really nice and well-developed, but I actually hated most of the Pokémon. They really brought down the games for me despite all of the good things about them.
I'd say my favorite games are X and Y. The storyline was weak, in my opinion, but I loved everything else. Wonderful Pokémon designs, fantastic music, great visuals (and so many lovely women), a nice region without much water and with uncomplicated caves, instant trading/battling... I love it. And oh, that Yveltal. <3 After that, the order overall would be Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Kanto, and Unova. Hoenn had my least favorite region due to all the water, but I did really like Omega Ruby. Sinnoh has one of my favorite Pokémon (Garchomp) and my absolute favorite character (Cynthia). I think all of the gens had their ups and downs, and there's something I liked about all of them. I will say that B/W had my favorite starter. I love Serperior. -------------------- Check my GPXPlus journal to see what I contributed to the site! Interested in a commission? PM me. |

@Mikura I'm sorry to hear that! It sounds scary. I've never gone though anything like that, but I'd just try and stay as positive as you could about it. Technology has gotten really good with a lot of surgeries and it continues improving every day, so you have a very good chance of everything being good! Thanks for the encouragement! =( Also, love that Lancer icon~ I'm not sure about your individual situation but I have two friends who were born with severe strabismus, one as a complication of an extremely premature birth and the other as a genetic issue that makes his eye focus in the wrong place, and both manage it with special glasses. They're expensive to replace ($700-$800 a pair from what they've told me) but that's what your doctor may want to try before suggesting surgery. Oh wow.. I can't even imagine how awful it would be to have had it since birth.. Surgery was only mentioned as an option down the road for me. I think when I see the specialist we will look into vision therapy and other options such as the corrective lenses as well. I didn't had a strabism, but my eyes worked too much, and they didn't know how to stay in a "cool way", so I usually had terrible headaches, enough to want to vomit. I went to see an orthoptist, it's a doctor that make some practice with your eyes to focus on what's far and what's close to you in space. It's a really good doctor to see when you've got a strabism, because its exercices are the best way to reduce greatly the problem. The exercices are kinda weird and at the beginning you've got the impression that you're drunk, because it forces your eyes to focus (but not too hardly, it's not dangerous). After one month my headaches were really reduced, so maybe you should see one! And you also need spectacles, but I guess you already have one pair. I replied to yours via PM <3 But still, thank you for the encouragement. The eye exercises are most likely what I am going to be doing.. I just hope I can improve well. Mine causes headaches all of the time, too, and it's been getting more noticable.. I apologize for the big post! I just wanted to make sure I replied to everyone. I hope the SWSH went well for everyone, I'm really excited to say that I managed to hatch 6 shinies for it. Even got a random shiny Torchic while doing the PokeHunt, have had good luck lately aside from my vision issues! -------------------- |

Woo! Got the Latiasite in Shuffle! Now to level up my pokemon/earn more coins before attempting Glalie again, which also happens to be how far in the game I'm in :/
Kinda happy today was a regular day on the site. It gave me a chance to use my summoning items. Unfortunately I missed one of them and wound up snagging two summons sitting in the lab, one of which happened to hatch shiny! Now I've got Sh. Dialga and Sh. Palkia. Favorite pokemon game/region? Hrm...I think Johto is my favorite followed by Kanto due to nostalgia. After that I really enjoyed Unova and Kalos. Hoenn and Sinnoh? Eh. -------------------- |

On the mobile site, my index tab doesn't seem to work. It's the tab that shows general info. Daycare info, hatching info, multiplier, weather, etc. Is anyone else having this issue? I don't know if it is associated with the domain change or what. I've been having the same problem, though I'm pretty sure it's been an issue since the server migration for a lot of people. Did anyone else notice Views came back? This is the first thing I noticed when I came on here this morning. Yay! With a bit of luck I managed to catch Giratina in Shuffle at lv10 Not sure if I'll get it up to lv50 for the prizes....I'm not really fussed on them. -------------------- |

In order from favorite to least favorite: Gen V Gen IV Gen VI Gen III Gen II Gen I The last two I never played, but I did play their respective remakes. -------------------- Light is a spectrum. Giratina became impossibly hard to beat at level 50 for me. I found a nice tip someone posted for levels 40-49 though. If anyone is interested:
QUOTE There's a big combo you can set off in the first two moves. Where rows are A, B, C, D, E, F and Columns are 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. First move - Swap A3 and D3 Second move - Swap E4 and F3 On all levels for 40-49, this combo will work. It helped me quite a bit. -------------------- |
