Hey there guys. I was just wondering...
Do any of you feel that the Elite Four and Champion runs in the Battle Tower are a bit... too lucky? I mean, there's the obvious Quick Claws, which are probably the worst idea the game has ever had since Double Team, but they also seem to score a disturbingly high level of critical hits. Or maybe I'm just unlucky. I mean, I've won... five combs now, I think, but I would've won a lot more were it not for an unlucky crit/quick claw incident. Anyone else having these troubles? Or is it just me? -------------------- |

Technically, there's already a thread for the Elite Four battles here, but to answer your question, they are meant to be a bit challenging. And you having 5/9 combs already is a good amount. I had some difficulties with getting combs at first too, but after checking out the thread that I linked to above, I've found Pokémon that were super effective against the Elite Four/Champion's Pokémon and had good IVs, and I equipped them with Choice Scarves/Bands/Specs. It was easier after figuring out what Pokémon the opponents had.

Crits and Quick Claws just make it more annoying than more challenging as far as I'm concerned. Thanks for the link though; I didn't know there was a thread for this already. -------------------- |

I completely understand. It does get annoying. But hopefully you can find tips/advice that can help you out.

Please make sure that you carefully comb (har har) the forums to see if topics already exist for any problems or issues you run in to. Since there's already another topic dealing with the Elite Four, I'll be closing this.
