YOOOO' Everyone Rookie here!
First things first tho': Topic for the prepoll is right here! With that out of the way tho'... ° ~~~~~~ ° ~~~~~~ ° WHAT Just. WHAT. Malachite gang we KILLED it this time. Like don't get me wrong, we do get a lot in the lead from time to time but... A LEAD OF 62 (last I checked)? WHAT And 16K more eggs hatched?!?!?! GOD DANG! We really took RNG and smashed it to the wall with pure DETERMINATION huh? And we started a little slow but then everything just kind of picked up and AAAAAAAAAAAAH. You guys are AMAZING. And for all the other affinities? GOD you guys did so well as well. Wulfs got us trembling at the start and Azu, I know you guys might feel a little down because of the entrants, but I'm sure one day you guys will get back to glory as you were before we Malachite got the streak. Both of you guys, DON'T GIVE UP! For now, tho', we all rest a little bit until the next SWSH. Hope to see you all there as well! ° ~~~~~~ ° ~~~~~~ °

Mala's RNG is 1/299 and Wulf's is 1/301. Didn't really smash it much (Azu's is 1/315, poor guys). Who absolutely smashed RNG was Kei, though, who hatched 25 shinies, which is currently the record for a SWSH, and that was in 3797 eggs. That's 1/152 average, which is just insane for that amount of shinies and eggs! As for determination, Mala users hatched on average 5 more eggs compared to Wulf users (228 compared to 223). So I wouldn't really say it's about determination either. For individual users, most eggs hatched are occupied by Wulf users at #1, #3, and #4. (Half of the top 20 is taken up by Mala, though, so it's more interspersed compared to other Affinities.) The true culprit here is numbers, Mala has 15% (1/7) more users than either of the other two affinities, lmao, which is the thing that pushes you over the edge here. Mala did great, there's no doubt in that, you didn't slack, you pushed through really hard and that's great!! But let's not talk RNG and determination when you didn't do THAT much better than the other affinities What you have is sheer undeniable power, that the other affinities currently lack. These statements kinda sheds bad light on other Affinities, as if we didn't try hard enough, which isn't true and I know you're not trying to insinuate that, even despite your kind words, Rookie. Wulf did (almost) just as well as Mala, except Mala had 60 more users than us, so we essentially gave up. -------------------- Also helping edit the GPX Wiki, PM me if you have any information that can be added Spread the positivity! But let's not talk RNG and determination when you didn't do THAT much better than the other affinities What you have is sheer undeniable power, that the other affinities currently lack. Well, Malachite has exactly the same number of users as the other Affinities. What they have more of is active users, or rather, users who participate in the SWSH, and participate multiple times as well. I don't say that for pedantry's sake. We're on, I think two years of Malachite winning SWSHs. Users like Rookie have worked very hard over those two years to get Malachites involved in hunting shines and feeling invested in how their team does. Maybe it's self-fulfilling by now, but if so it surely didn't start that way. Equally you could say it should be hard to keep Malachites involved when they "always win", but they still keep the energy up. Is that not determination? Anyway, getting too deep into who performed how well and why, or who didn't, risks raising some tensions and of course it's not needed. We can congratulate Malachite this time and remember that it's just a bit of extra fun in the end, on top of your own shiny hunts -------------------- |

risks raising some tensions and of course it's not needed Believe me, saying that Mala had better RNG than others or that their users are more determined is kind of already doing that, which is why I said what I said. It feels like slander towards the rest of us, and I know Rookie doesn't mean it that way and also attaches a couple kind words, but this wording does not sit well with Wulfs, I'll tell you that much. -------------------- Also helping edit the GPX Wiki, PM me if you have any information that can be added Spread the positivity! Hey, at least you're a Wulf and you get to pretend you have a chance. It's just completely pointless as Azurite. :) Like really, why even bother? Seriously. 72 fewer users. That's insurmountable, even with working hard.
Azurite users hatched, on average, 285.3 eggs per user. Malachite users hatched, on average, 231.0 eggs per user. Wulfenite users hatched, on average, 226.1 eggs per user. Yet because of that 72 user difference, Azurite never even stood a ghost of a chance. It's ridiculous, and really makes it feel pointless to even try as Azurite. No one said their users were more determined, they just said they had determination. I understand being frustrated at long winning streaks but it just looks like you are taking general statements too personally and raising tensions over someone just being all-around positive to everyone here. -------------------- (◕‿◕✿) Join the GPX+ Discord! But alas so it is with dwindling active site population. -------------------- Also helping edit the GPX Wiki, PM me if you have any information that can be added Spread the positivity!
