Click on the link for more info, but basically, all your Gen IV & Gen V Pokémon games? Say good-bye to their online functionality. Honestly, I knew this wouldn't last, but I'm a bit shocked that Black 2 & White 2 are on the list given that they're relatively new. Please note that 3DS & Wii U are unaffected. -------------------- Software engineer by day. Hermit writer by night. nothing is impossible chasing a super hero on the run |

This really pisses me off! I haven't got a chance to nab a 3DS and X or Y yet, so now I can't trade anymore! And what's worse is I got a bunch of shinies from trades that I didn't want so I was planning on trading them.

Here's an interesting titbit I've managed to unearth today.
It would appear that the decline of Wi-Fi for DS and Wii may find a second life after all, if the efforts of a group aptly named "Save Nintendo Wi-Fi" are anything to go by. Project Page I had envisioned the surfacing of something like this, what with all the fake gts' and copious homebrew servers out there. In regards to Pokémon, Diamond & Pearl are already on the list. Though, as for the method involved in restoring online functionality...It certainly doesn't seem 'legitimate' to say the least, but given what's happened, again I'm not surprised. -------------------- Software engineer by day.
