Yes, a new series of cards have been confirmed and will be the last series before the release of the 5th Generation TCG(USA, Wise) Some of the cards are re-drawn cards from earlier series, and some are awesome and new.
Oh, they also mentioned new Shiny Pokemon. Discuss. |

I'm going to guess that the Shinies will take the place of Primes in this set, which would mean no new Primes in the set.
This set will more than likely see the English release of the controversial Lost World Stadium. It wouldn't surprise me if the reprints only came from the HGSS series. It would be a pleasant surprise to see cards like Roseanne's Research and Claydol (Great Encounters) make a reappearance, especially considering that both, along with Felicity's Drawing, were made League promos last year and then got rotated out of the Modified format a few months ago. I highly doubt that will happen, but you never know, right? Oh, and maybe a reprint of Call Energy, hence the name Call of Legends? -------------------- |

probably necroposting, but let's be honest, this section is dead and needs all the help it can get
honestly, i have mixed feelings about this, it's always nice to get new cards, but these pokemon cards rotate faster than what my wallet can afford @_@, also, when you said shiny, what kind of shiny you meant? because we have the old school one kind (only one per deck) and the new kind, in which it just has a different drawing, and better attacks, but is no different than your average card -------------------- |

Did anyone here go to a prerelease today for this set? I'd love to learn some more about what's going on in this expansion before I put money into it. Even though I'll probably end up buying some even if the whole set is terrible...

Even though I'll probably end up buying some even if the whole set is terrible... As I thought, this set is mainly reprints from the HG/SS series (with new artwork), Japanese Shiny promos (some with new non-shiny artwork), and the rest of the Lost Link set that didn't make it into Triumphant. As I predicted earlier in this thread, there are no Primes in this set. From what I've seen, the only cards that are even worthwhile in the set are the following: Ninetales (originally from HG/SS) Smeargle (originally from Undaunted) Professor Oak's New Theory (Originally from HG/SS) Lost World, Lost Remover, Research Record (all new in this set, originally from Lost Link) Reverse holo basic Energy (HG/SS versions) I would still go to a prerelease, even though about 95% of the set is terrible. I personally will be going to one next Saturday. Here's hoping I get a Shiny Raikou! -------------------- |

Shame that one of the few decent cards is one that I already have. I'll probably still end up getting some here and there, especially since I don't have all too much of the non-Undaunted HG/SS sets anyway, and it'll be a good way to catch up. Thanks for the report!
