So, I'm a big fan of the "Tales" series, and one of the little things they include is a "Title" system. Now, I was wondering if we could have one for PANE/Uprising. They would be just for fun, and would have no real affect/effect (I think it's both?), on the roleplaying.
That being said, I got bored at work and made up some preliminary titles. They're a combination of Tales Titles, TV Tropes, and my own stuff. Here they are: Team Composition Titles: To earn a Team Composition Title, the Character must assemble a full team of six pokemon, with one type in common across all six members. At least, it seems similar. I would remain to read and comment more, but it is late and bed awaits me. -------------------- |

Actually, this appears to be like the achievement systems of XBL and PSN. I really like it; this could kept track of in the Current levels thread and offer a brief summary of RP style and character quirks.
My only concern would be that people would RP for the sake of getting all the achievements, but if they really don't mean anything, it might not be so bad. -------------------- PANE Mod PANE x2 (click to show ) Credit for 2gamer's Seel of Approval (click to show ) |

There would be no rewards for any of the titles. Naturally, the list can be modified in any way. Titles can be changed, added or deleted as you, the mods, see fit. Also, I'd be more than happy to continue contributing potential titles, and the like. It's just something I thought might be fun to add to PANE and Uprising.

Hard to Port? Not really, I did it. But these are, indeed, pretty cool.

I think he doesn't mean it as "difficult to translate a character from one genre to another", but rather as a pun, such as "turn our ship steeply to the left, Mr. Sulu".

So...would we be okay with implementing these in PANE and Uprising, or should w just leave it be.
