Okay... so I'm thinking of going competitive.
but alas. What do I choose :| Yup, I've hit a brick wall. A pretty big and long brick wall if I'm honest. I'm making this thread as to what suggestions you guys could possibly... suggest to use in the team. So uhh... any help? (I have Pokémon White by the way) If I'm not allowed and whatnot then move it where it's supposed to be ;x Edit: Preferred Playstyle: I usually intend on using a lot of speed in my team. Speed with a good amount of attack on a few, backed up by one or two tanks and a healer/annoyer to fill the last space (if this is what you mean by preferred playstyle... my mind is a bit ignorant when it comes to this, sorry) Also if it helps, I was looking for like a Sunny Day team or perhaps a Sandstorm team. Preferably a Sunny Day team though And the tier list, most likely BL - OU [i](I looked the Smogon Tiers for anything on the new tiers [and other places] but I don't think there is any defined ones yet.) Depends on your preferred playstyle and what tier you want. Need more details.

I just use my favorite Pokémon, except evolved. I use Braviary because I love the colors of its wings, Virizion because of it's /classy/ look.
It's whatever you would like. Start with a plan. Since Volcarona is your favorite Pokémon, try starting out with that. This post has been edited by Razz Haru: Jul 26 2011, 10:51 AM -------------------- |

Edited.
Although it's what I took those things as, so not sure if that's what you meant, BI -------------------- Don't forget to love yourself. Add me for daily clicks: 873/1000 --- Community Thread Shiny List! --- Breeding Incentives: Mission Cards |

Note: If you wanna get a full-fledge team that can actually go on Wi-Fi to play with Pros, getting it legitly is not really recommended.
OT: Check out the RMTs in Smogon Forum. They can certainly help. And really, if you want a Sunny Day team, things can get pretty easy. First of all, you need a Ninetales with the Drought ability. Gamefreak gave that ability to Ninetales soo...suck it up lol. I don't really like Ninetales so pardon me :P After that, you might want to get some synergy. Speedy pokemon. I swear, Venusaur, under the sun, is pretty much the fastest green blob out there. There will be some other pokemon that is faster, duh. But really, Venusaur with Chlorophyll under the sun is pretty much unrivaled. The SpA of Venu is very, very good. Heck, a Solarbeam can blow pretty much anything on the field after a Growth boost. People have this misconception that Sunny Day team = Fire types and Venusaur. No. This will create a huge weakness in your team. In order to strike balance, you have to bring in something of different types to cover your team's weakness. You said tank(we call it Wall in the competitive scene), Blissey or Chansey with an Eviolite is a decent choice. BLISSEY VS CHANSEY WITH EVIOLITE Blissey can hold Leftovers(which is really significant in this Weather metagame) but her defense will lose to that of a Chansey holding an Eviolite(she's really tough, like really. Chansey with Eviolite is like a brick, I swear). Normally, you would want 2 walls, I suppose. A Physical Wall, and a Special Wall. Speaking about Special Wall, Blissey comes to my mind immediately. As for a Physical Wall...I really cannot remember any. Sorry, I'm tired X.X All in all, you would want Pokemon that can take advantage of the Sun and most importantly, you must be able to take out the opponent's weather inducer. Because if that Politoed / Aboma / TTar is taken out, you will have a much easier time and a higher chance of winning. I could clear up doubts if you have any. GOOD LUCK! XD -------------------- |

If you are going to use a sun team, use Victini. It will kill everything.
I would also recommend Rotom-W for it's ability to counter sand and rain. |
