Locking a Pokémon, as we all know, prevents it from being
In my opinion locking is for this reason pretty impractical; you can't keep your Pokémon locked for any length of time really (unless you plan to have a party mascot for a while or something), because it stops you from sending them underground or to the Vs. Seeker or into the Battle Tower (etc.), and they have to be unlocked again to be put back in the PC. Because of this, the protections that locking actually offers are less useful, or rather, less powerful - it's a lot easier to accidentally evolve or release a Pokémon you like if it's unlocked half the time anyway so you can actually use it. Additionally, I don't actually see any reason why locked Pokémon shouldn't be moved around - nothing unwanted can happen just from sticking them Underground. So (as I state in the title) I propose that locked Pokémon should be able to be moved. I also note two extra things: Pokémon that are locked immediately upon hatching should not be moved (for shinies and high-IV Pokémon); and more importantly Pokémon should stay locked while in the PC. In this case they will not be released even if their entire (unlocked) box is selected to be released, nor can they be evolved etc. from their info page while in a box, but they can still be moved around freely. -------------------- |

If locked Pokémon couldn't be moved by the move-all (or move-multiple) option, but could be moved individually, would that be acceptable?
