Myself. I have a very specific training strategy. I start with a level one pokemon I want to train with a nature that benefits the specific stat I want raised. I train it with the exp share. Then, after it gets around level 30, I take the exp share and give it a power item (power bracer, power lens, etc). I train it up like that until 100.

I see. My only "realish" Pokemon game is XD Gale of Darkness. Its really hard to level up.

I like to level up pokemon in the daycare if it's not going to be in my party. Otherwise, I level them up by battling.

I've never actually let the daycare raise my pokemon. Why waste the money on that when I can use it on better things like protiens, calciums, hp ups, ectect. Overall you're better off raising your pokemon on your own and there's plenty of guides on what to kill if you know what you want to raise your pokemon in. Then again I'm a breeder so of course I'd say raising my pokemon myself.

Myself because I feel a lot better knowing I raised them on my own. Even in the pokemon games, I always hand raised them myself

So most people like to raise them by themselves. So do I. Though Magikarps, Feebas, Caterpie, Weedle, and the "weaker" Pokemon, I'll stick in the Daycare.

Self, because the daycare people fuck up all your stats. I'm the exact same as Slyfur, but I chain Pokemon for the specific stat I'm working on.

I'm gonna have to say by myself. I like to be in control, so that usually means doing the work myself. Besides, daycare costs money.

I only put Ditto into the Daycare otherwise it's raised by me, whether its using EXP Share or actually battling with them (or a mix of both). I prefer to raise them myself so I can get the movesets I wish to have on them.

Depends. If i'll be using it alot in my team then I usually prefer self training.
If its a legend that i'll just show off or rarely use, daycare. The only reason I don't like daycare is because I prefer specific moves for each pokemon. I'm cool with it if i can find the right TMs though. -------------------- |

Yeah. That works for me. But the Daycare gives you boring old status moves. DX Mai nightmare.

P: Unless I feel patient that day, I stick all Pokemon I need in the Daycare. Honestly, I'm not a big battler, and don't need level 100 Pokemon. Ever. I just go for the catch 'em all thing and shove 'em in a PC box the moment they hit their last evolution.

I do EV training for some of my pokemon, so the daycare isn't really an option if I want to go into competitive battling or really even make the thing decent. Sometimes I do put pokemon in the daycare that I don't want to use and just get them at the level they need to be so I can evolve them, and fill out my pokedex a little bit more.
I do a lot of breeding, though, for egg moves and stuff, and use the daycare quite a lot for that. -------------------- |

The Daycare costs money and gives you horrible attacks for your trouble of running around a region thirty times. So by myself.

I don't use Daycare except for breeding. If they happen to gain a level or two during the breeding process, great. If not, it's no loss. In fact, I'm dedicated to personally training Pokemon to the point that I'll train a level 5 Magikarp to evolution.

I've had a Magikarp trained to Gyarados in every version I've played (which would be every version but Yellow and Platinum) and I've always trained it myself. Once I'm done with the game I like to train Pokemon to have certain movesets, on some versions I settle just for breeding and training for moves, but I also do do EV training. In the case of the latter, I'd first breed a personality, then EV train with a Power item (not EXP first, you waste unnecessary EVs doing that) until EVs are maxed out, then grind with EXP SHARE to level up. -------------------- |

Myself, though sometimes I use the daycare like this : I would deposit a Pokémon there and explore the Kanto region in HG, and then after a week, I get it, then make it remember the moves I should've taught it! But I like doing it myself.
