What's the longest (time) hunt you've ever completed, or is underway?
I've had some trouble with being active on the site, so I've had at least 2 years of inactivity within the last 2.5 years, and I have awful shiny luck, so my longest hunt is still underway. I have a Gastly hunt that I started on the 2nd of October, 2010! Hahahaha! I have two hunts from 2011 and two from 2012, also! -------------------- |

Jeez that's a long time! Fair amount of eggs too! I always expect a shiny to hatch within the first 50 eggs, and when one doesn't, I slowly loose interest in that particular hunt haha! -------------------- |

My longest past hunts have been Sandile (1,339 eggs) and Scraggy (1,332 eggs)
My longest current hunt is Trubbish (729 eggs) As for days... My Hoppip hunt went from Apr 9/12 - Jan 20/13 (1,144 eggs) and Sentret from Feb 1/11 - Jan 4/12 (1,149 eggs). Yeah, I really don't have much shiny luck :| My eggs average is 333 (though it feels more like 500 at times), and my time average is around the 8 month mark. But dams, some of these hunts... The largest amount of eggs was the Porygon shiny hunt at 779 eggs.
I was inactive on the site until recently so my Shinx hunt stands at 251 eggs hatched and date started Feb 25/13 My egg hatch ratio used to be really high but it got pulled down a lot by my 10 egg Houndour hunt |D -------------------- |

Time wise I could probably say that my longest hunt was Crystal Onix, which I started before you could shiny hunt novelties with the shine recorder and I also took a considerably long break from breeding them. The fact that they are novelties means that the time it takes to hatch eggs will be longer, which is one of the reasons why comparing that hunt to regular pokemon seems like comparing apples to oranges. But anyway, the hunt can pretty much be summed up by the daycare offspring.
Spoiler (click to show ) My longest hunt eggs wise is Magikarp at 2191 eggs, which I completed within 8 days or so. This is also why I don't like to think too much about the time it takes to complete a hunt, since that will in most cases reflect mostly how fast you were hatching eggs during the period it took. That is obliviously being being affected by other factors, like how active you are and whether or not it's easy to hatch a lot of that egg. -------------------- All my stuff is viewable by everyone on my public page. My longest hunt eggs wise was Feebas, 2317 eggs.... A tiny bit frustrating at the end, I'll say. A year and a half, roughly.
And time wise, I guess it's that : Species: Zergoose (Feral) Eggs Hatched: 232 Date Started: May 14/12 Yup, he doesn't want to come xD -------------------- |

/RIPS OUT HAIR (the worst part is that this is only the RECORDED time, I've been hunting sans recorder for much longer than this) And yeah I know that's not a lot of eggs but I have basically no time to earn the prize points to keep buying soul dews. I started this hunt on July 5th, 2011 and finally hatched the shiny on January 29, 2014. "This Pokémon was egg #268 in Bonnie Clyde 's 929-day shiny race against Snivy21 started on July 5th, 2011." One shiny hunt that's still going is one that I had started only a few days before the Happiny one: Species: Vulpix Date Started: Jul 1/11 This post has been edited by Bonnie Clyde: Jan 22 2014, 08:30 PM -------------------- |

Still doing my shiny Summer Swinub hunt T_T
Shine Recorder says I've been doing it since 8th November 2011, but it was more like since Summer Swinub was first released... (because I added it to the Shine Recorder when that account upgrade was available). 363 eggs hatched so far, and no luck. Of course, it's hard to shiny hunt when your Daycare Pokés don't want to make the novelty, lmao. Good job we have that Pass Power now... -------------------- I do gaming videos! Please have a look!
