The Avengers

--IF YOU DIDN'T READ THE TOPIC DESCRIPTION, THIS IS A PRIVATE ROLEPLAY. KLOWII AND I ONLY. Thank you.--

Welcome to Happy Trails! Here at our institute, we always look over our patients as if they were a part of our family. It doesn't matter if you're delusional or hear voices, our nurses and doctors will make sure your stay is as comfortable as your own home! Here, we make sure everyone has special attention. We guarantee your safety and happiness. We have lots of games to play! So come on in, make yourself at home. You won't need anything else!

That's what the sign says, anyways. For some of us, it provides comfort. For some, it only brings worry. Who are we? I guess you could call us the clinically insane. Some people prefer to call us the crazies, or even the confused. We are the attendees of Happy Trails.

Most of us call Happy Trails our home away from home. Here, we go through many different forms of therapy. The doctors have many cruel things that are supposed to help us. Most of it only makes us worse. They put us in a chair and strap our hands and ankles into the thing so that we can't and won't resist it. They press a button and pain runs through you like a pack of wolves. And when the doctors are through for the therapy session, they throw us back in our cells for us to rot away like a dead body. Some people don't survive that chair. I've seen people killed that way.

People die here. It's a fact. Whether it's from the sessions or the lack of food, people die. The doctors throw their bodies into flames, like what they did during the Holocaust. When the ashes build up to a large pile, they throw the black remains into a hole in the ground. They cover the hole and leave as if nothing had happened.

Happy Trails is surrounded by thick, brick walls that seem to be always added onto. There are three brick walls in all, each several yards thick. It doesn't help that the tops are covered in electrified barbed wire. In between each brick wall is more of that barbed wire. Guards with large guns are always cruising around those walls, watching for anyone who plans to escape. There is only one entrance into Happy Trails. One exit. That exit has triple amount of guards than any place at the asylum.

There are four large buildings within the walls of Happy Trails. The first building, a red brick building that has many exits and entrances into it. That's Section A, the place that they keep the harmless crazies. People in that building are often let out and their therapy sessions are few and easy. Most of them are just talking about problems and things. This building is more or less quiet and most of it's cells are empty.

The second building is also made out of red brick, but it only has two entrances and exits in the place. The people there are a bit more dangerous, their therapies a bit more harsh. Those people either have killed someone, tried to kill them-self, or are prone to hearing or seeing "voices" and "dead people." Their therapy sessions are more physical; things such as getting put in a straight jacket or padded room. The people of Section B must have special permission to be granted outside. This building is the most occupied of all of the buildings and screams and laughter coming from it can be heard for miles.

The third building, Section C, is where they keep the worst of the worst here. It's a building made out of pure concrete and steel and has an outer wall that is covered in the same barbed wire as the walls outside. The people of this section are serial killers, cannibals, and people who refuse to believe that they are in an asylum. There are only ten or fifteen of these people in the entire building, which is obviously the largest. Over half of them are in straight jackets. The therapy sessions they go through are the most difficult to live through. They go through the electric chair and padded rooms. Things like that. The people of it are not allowed under any circumstance to go outside unless they have special permission from the guy who runs the place.

The fourth building is the place that the doctors, nurses, and therapists will gather when they aren't in session.

This is what we go through. We want out. We will fight to the death to get out if we have to. We hate the sessions here, especially the people of Section B and C. We hate the nurses, the people who bring us to and from the therapy. We hate the doctors, the people who DO the therapy. We WILL get out. We will not rot here any longer.
