Some info on it, if you aren't familiar: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Razia%27s_Shadow:_A_Musical , http://www.raziasshadow.com/
I know it's around 10 years old by this point, but I just found out about it two weeks ago when a friend linked "The Spider and the Lamps" to me, stating that I would probably like it because I'm apparently just known to some for liking Say Anything/Max Bemis's vocal styles in general. I did indeed end up liking it, and it quickly led to me searching up the musical and watching the puppet version of it on YouTube. I've always been fascinated with puppetry, so that combined with Bemis [too bad his character only appears for around 4 minutes] and the vocal talents of a few other people which I can stand, in short, really sold it for me. Plus, the general concept isn't too bad for typical musical fare in my opinion. Some part of me wishes it was more popular just so I'd have people to talk to with regarding it; all of the online groups are deader than doornails. -------------------- |
