Would you rather raise eggs in a daycare or by yourself? Every once in a while, I will count the votes.
I prefer doing it by myself. Self:1 Daycare: 0 -------------------- |

Myself. The Day-Care Center teaches your Pokemon pathetic moves, and raising them yourself is faster.

Uhm? Are you talking in the game now or on GTS?
Putting eggs in the daycare is impossible anyway. As for raising Pokčmon I prefer raising them myself, while I don't do EV-training (not knowingly anyway) I still believe they get stronger that way, and I have more control over what moves they learn. (If I DO put a Pokčmon in daycare for breeding or whatever I either scramble their moves to put my least favorite on top or a HM-move, so it won't be a loss if they replace it with something crappy) Its also faster as Ace trainer mentions, especially since my training-method usually involves taking a weakling Pokčmon with me to the Battle Ground or Pokčmon League carrying EXP share X3 -------------------- Uxie Anitarig Daisuke Weasley Sceptile Rika |

If we are talking games...
I prefer to raise them myself but there have been times when I've got so annoyed with a pokemon taking a while to level up that I just stuck it in the DC. Then, after what seems like a lifetime, I go back and it's been raised one frickin level! Woop-De-Woop! Thanks a lot Daycare couple! |

Would you rather put your kid in a Daycare Center for the rest of their life or raise them the way your momma taught you?
Yes. I had a nanny called BIG MOMMA who raised all my pokemanz. Too bad me Diamond's gone now. This post has been edited by suzyk: Sep 27 2009, 06:10 PM |

I'm guessing you meant Pokemon because like some of the other posters already mentioned you can't have daycare people raise eggs for you. As for what I do it depends on the Pokemon and my degree of patience. I used to always put Magikarp in daycare until it reached level 19 and then I used rare candy. I still do it sometimes but not nearly as often as I used to. In fact I usually just raise them by myself now.

Mm-hmm.
Usagi Zakura, I am curious why your Infernape is Daisuke. Interesting that you would choose that name...*remembers from comic book* -------------------- |

For me, the Daycare is only used for breeding and the occasional "I want to evolve this Pokemon eventually for my Pokedex, so I'll come back for it when I remember."
But as for real training, raising them the old-fashioned way is the best. Get to level 100 through hard work, not through walking around aimlessly. -------------------- |

I know at least two manga/anime-characters with that name too though (DN Angel and Digimon Adventure 02) -------------------- Uxie Anitarig Daisuke Weasley Sceptile Rika |

Raising them by myself, because then I get to choose which stats I want to be raised.
The only downside to having an Exp. Share on a pokemon I don't want to evolve is having to repeatedly hit the B Button to stop evolving it. -------------------- |

Training them yourself for the win, as a poster as already said, if I wanted a pokemon too breed or I wanted it to evolve for my pokedex but i never want to use the pokemon(like magiKarp) I would put them in day-care, but I much prefer to raise them myself, even though its just a game it gives me a sense of forefilment

I like to train them myself so that I can control what moves they learn. X3

Hope you mean Pokemon instead of eggs.
Since the eggs won't hatch or do anything without you carrying them yourself. Anyway. I'd care for the Pokemon myself. Pros. I get to pick the moves I want. The Pokemon is more personalized. I don't have to spend hundreds to get it back. Cons. It takes time. -------------------- |
