GPX+ has been logging me out for quiet some time already. I go around and click, and then red skin appears and it say Im not logged in anymore.
Or I try to hatch an egg and it says "You are either not logged in or your session has expired"

Or when I'm in PC, and I open a Pokemon that I want to put in VS Seeker, and I see the red skin again.
So... WHATS THE PROBLEM?
Sorry for this but, it's really bugging me, and it's really annoying.

Btw, Im using Opera.

Check your cookie settings. Make sure your browser isn't deleting your cookies or making them 'expire' after a certain period of time. I'm not familiar with Opera but I'm sure a quick internet search will help you with cookie issues with Opera.

Some ideas...
1) Remove all cookies from "gpxplus.net" in the settings. Log in again.
2) Do a search for the file "cookies4.dat" (win xp: the file is located in the appdata folder of your user directory) and check if it is read-only. If so, make it writeable.
3) Try another browser if you have one installed. Same problem?
3) Reinstall Opera.

I have all 4 browsers, IE, Mozzila, Opera and Chrome. I tried it on Chrome and I didnt had the problem, but I can't click on Chrome and Mozzila is really slow, and Im not even going to think about IE.
And I installed the newest version of Opera already.

And how do I exactly remove cookies?

PS. I was wondering if some mod could see this, cause I was hoping for quick answer, I didnt want to PM them right away. worried.gif

My list was meant as a hierarchy... Try 2), if 1) fails... With the most likely solutions on top.

You found the "Enable cookies" setting, didn't you? The option to manage cookies is below. I can't point you to the exact thing, since I'm using the german version of Opera. Remove all cookies from the domain "gpxplus.net" and log in again.

My suggestion is not aimed at "updating" your opera but rather... Maybe something got messed up. It sometimes happens by installing widgets or even by updating to the newest version. A new installation would fix that. Still, I would only advise to reinstall it, if everything else fails.

They will. But it will probably take some time. Since it's something on your end, there is no quick answer, I'm afraid.

PS. Im really bad at coding and programing. DX

It's Tools > Preferences > Advanced > Cookies > Manage cookies > gpxplus.net > Delete (or Remove?), I think. :)

Ok, but isn't that going to mess up GPX+?
If I delete cookies, what will actually happen? Cause I don't want to ruin the whole game...

No, this is quite a reasonable question.
Some cookies (e.g. screen resolution) will set themselves automatically when you visit gpxplus.net. The cookies containing login information will be lost, so you will need to log in again with your username and password. Nothing else.

Yes. As soon as you visit gpxplus.net again and log in.

Ok, thanks. So far it seems that it's working, but I would still like to keep this thread open if something accidentally comes out.

I'm not sure about deleting cookies on IE. Maybe you should try and install Opera at least.
