September Community Thread!

The August Community thread has been moved here.

Hey guys! Did you all enjoy last month's thread? (: I hope so! Every month a new community thread will be made and the old one will be discarded into the archives. I don't want a super huge thread to continue to get even bigger, so I hope everyone is excited for a fresh start every month!

If you're new here then don't be shy! The community thread is the place to come and chat with fellow members of the site who share a common interest with you. Talk about whatever you want, whether it's GPX related or something going on in your personal life, just be sure to read the rules first before posting. There's always someone on the forums to read and respond to your posts, so chat away and maybe you'll meet some great people!

Rules

• Regular forum rules still apply here. Basically don't double post. Don't ask for clicks every time you fill your party. Unless it gets out of hand*, I'm okay with you linking to an exploration Pokemon who needs a specific berry.
  
  *out of hand meaning I don't want to see Pokémon being linked just for leveling or if they need drinks for happiness. These kinds of interactions can be handled just fine by being in your parties and signatures.
  
  
• Do not post your shinies here, there's a shiny thread for that. Discussing them is OK though! Just make sure you add content to your post.
  
  
• Make sure your post contains worthwhile content. If you're posting an exploration Pokémon to be fed berries then be sure to add other content to your post. Same with discussing shinies. Find people to reply to or start a discussion yourself! Your post must, with the shiny portion and berry feeding hypothetically removed*, not read as if you're talking to yourself. To clarify, your post should not be an out-loud thought to yourself, and should contain more general discussion than just information on your current shiny luck.
  
  *if you were to read your post, skipping over any mention of shinies, the post should still sound like a good post.
  
  If any posts are found breaking this rule then they will be instantly deleted and handed a 10% warn.
  
  
• Do not post your GPX+ gear grinders in this thread either. There's also a thread for that. This is mostly for raging at staff or site events that you don't like.

  An off-handed comment that is in no way malicious like this is fine. You can always add an emoticon to help add to the not serious effect, but that it is only a small annoyance.

  This is more ragey and is trying to throw shade at the site and staff. Either examples can be thrown in the gear grinder thread just fine, but this kind of anger is what I want to avoid in this thread. I hoped this helped explain.. (:

Monthly Raffle

Nominations are now gone, and I'm using post count to determine how many entries you have into the raffle. The first 19 posts you have will count as one entry, and every ten after that will count as an extra. Think of it as the first number of your post count is how many entries you have. To see what your post count is, click on the number of replies any certain thread has. Nothing else on the site will influence the amount of entries you receive, so if you'd like a chance to win, then post here frequently!

The raffle is what chooses who gets to choose what's in next month's egg distribution. There are no other site advantages other than that, and even then the whole site gets a chance at that Pokémon that you chose!

I wonder which shinies we'll be hunting this month! I'm looking forward to it.
Meanwhile.... hatching more eevees and hoping for a shiny, or perhaps hatching some other things that are (partially) fairy, or could evolve into something fairy.

Two more pixie shards and then I got a plate. But I'm still on that exploration from months ago (cause I cannot get myself to click)
I could of course do Diancie instead but I already got a Diancie I think.
I'm hunting two novelties so starting a legendary hunt doesn't seem like a wise thing to do.
(one of them is for office wars)

I'm a huge Celebi fan so I'll be trying for Celebi, and if I don't succeed at first.... Flaming Zorua or Raikou.

So all of you guys who want a small N3DS might be in luck.
Apparently, there's gonna be a bundle with Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer that comes with the smaller N3DS. Sadly, this is the only way to get the smaller one.

Well, if I win next month's raffle I'll definitely pick Yveltal, since thats the only Kalos legendary I don't have (aside from Diancie, but I'll have her after I finish the exp.)

No idea which event I'll go for; like Silver I already have all of them. I guess I'll just hope for a shiny of whatever I get.

LOL! In that case, once I finish my current explore, I'll go find and begin your explore, Rhapsody.

I'm just starting my day and have to go make sure my youngest is up so that we'll all be ready to leave in 15 to 20 minutes. Once I'm at my destination I'll be able to click and get further in my current explore.

Happy September Everyone! Based on the egg give-a-ways, I'm thinking that if I keep an open mind (and slot) on either the 3rd or 6th, I'll be good. This will be a hard one to know which day to hope for. Here's hoping we all get what we want! Or, at least, remember to fill up on the ones we aren't vying for. *smirk*

Being European, I don't have to worry about the N3DS size... if I ever get one. Probably not before there's a colorless transparent plate so I can make customs if I find templates that work for me.

I think I'll try for Ho-oh for the egg event. I've been shiny hunting them for a while, so fingers crossed!

I like it when an eeveelution can be used for the Pokehunt... find these hunts quick and easy, especially because there are always heaps of eevee eggs in the shelter (the 3.1 multiplier is helpful too!). Got a 152IV eevee, so I think I'll stick with that

Not sure yet what I'll go for in the egg distribution. Like others here, I already have all of them, so I guess I'll go for the ones whose shinies I like most, so that's Ho-Oh and if I don't get that one, (what I assume to be) Autumn Tropius.

Already have Diancie as well, but I'll still need to do it's exploration if I ever want to get the Insatiably Curious achievement, as well as the new normal one. But first I have to stop being lazy and start clicking and finish DotW (only at task 3).

Also, for some reason chrome no longer knows my location? I tried activating the mobile walker and I get this error:
Your browser was unable to determine your location! Please try again later.
I've checked my chrome settings and I have geolocation allowed on GPX, so I'm not sure where this error is coming from. I've checked on other sites as well, and it seems like they can't find my location either. Restarting chrome and my laptop didn't work either. So, for now, I can only activate the mobile walker on my phone...

That is correct. And then Xerneas and Zygarde were in June, so they're still in the cooldown period.

EDIT - @ Yossarian: Plus, if you have/want a Living 'Dex, you'd need a second Diancie for the Mega Evolution anyway. *nods*

For the raffle entries, is it only posts in this thread, or is it forum wide?
