Ash has recently been pretty stupid. He's been diving off cliffs, jumping from trees, and diving into attacks to protect Pokemon(they're supposed to battle numbskull).
Has he always been this stupid, or is it just me? |

Ash is really stupid. He's also a child, so it's normal. He runs into things on sheer impulse, he says some dumb stuff, he makes decisions using his heart and not his brain, and the list goes on. In the first few seasons, primarily in Kanto and Johto, it was fun and I liked him that way. He was someone that, watching the show as a kid, you could relate to. Now the dynamic is old and not as tolerable. I feel that after all this time his character should mature.
