Hey all -
Recently I was wonder trading, and I got a shiny Tapu Koko...my assumption is that it's modded, but if that was the case wouldn't you not be allowed to wonder trade it? Or does that only apply to GTS and not Wonder Trading? It seems extremely fishy
It was also "apparently lv. 60" when met, and caught on 12/6/2016 All of these things are pointing towards it being hacked and sent over the Wonder Trade, the only other explanation I can think of is that there was an event somewhere I'm not aware of... The Tapu's are all shiny locked, however there has been a distribution for a Shiny Tapu Koko recently. Smogon were doing a giveaway with some movesets, but it appears the one you've got is hacked.
There is an official Shiny Tapu Koko event for Japan but that was this year, so definitely hacked. QUOTE Following the leak on Monday, the Shiny Tapu Koko event has been confirmed for Japan. It is Level 60 with the ability Electric Surge and hold item Electric Seed. It comes with the moves Nature's Madness, Discharge, Agility and Electro Ball. The code will be available in a myriad of stores including 7-11, Pokémon Centers, Yodobashi Camera, Aeon, Amazon and Rakuten. The code is available from March 17th to April 9th and the code needs to be redeemed by May 31st.
