Do you think the people of the world of pokemon are, themselves, pokemon? Do pokemon evolve (in the Darwinian sense, not the customary definition of the games)? If pokemon of the same evoloutionary line are just older/younger specimens, are they considered the same species? what about Eevee?

I thought Eevee was just the same Pokemon, just it mutates under certain circumstances.
