Hello, fellow RolePlayers! The school year has come and gone for most of us in the U.S.A., and now seems a good time as any to reboot a golden old RolePlay. The Power of Friendship had at least 12 members and lasted 27 pages, nearly a month and a half. Can we best that? I believe so. The question is, what will we do with this new RolePlay? TPOF was an all-pokemon sandbox sort of RP, meaning that players could do whatever they wanted with their characters, and no particular plot was specified. It did work out well, of course. It was 100% player-driven. Setting was not official, but it was possibly somewhere within the thick trees of Sinnoh where none to minimum of trainers traverse. There was a maximum limit of 3 characters per person, and players could choose if their character(s) would be good or evil. More details can be found in the original thread. The most prominent question as of date is what of the original to keep, what to loose, and what to add. In addition, we need a cool new related name. There will undoubtably be good and evil pokemon, seeing as that is the core feature of the original RolePlay. However, will we simply continue the story from where it was, now featuring new Pokemon? Or will it be entirely different? (I, personally, am leaning towards not simply just continuing the plot as the end of TPOF.) Please post your thoughts on the matter. And no, you do not need to have been a member of The Power of Friendship to post your thoughts.

Other factors to consider... will it be the same setting? Should the rules of the original roleplay stand or be modified? Should a solid plot be added? For characters carried over (assuming that people from the original will carry over their characters from TPOF), will they be completely re-booted and put on a clean slate (as in, assume the events of the first didn't happen) or will they somehow be trasported to the new time and/or place of the reboot?

The time has come upon us to revive The Power of Friendship, perhaps one of the greatest RolePlays to dawn on GTS+. Welcome to all new and old participants in this duo of all-Pokemon RolePlays.

You are a friendly Pokemon, known for general kindness to those around you. Perhaps you are giving, or trustworthy, or always have a smile and a listening ear. You are reasonably liked by those around you. You have heard of both Poachers and strange new Pokemon beginning to close in on the forest, but it has not directly affected you... yet.

It has been a long year since your adventures in the old forest. Poachers invaded the whole area and crated you, separating you from all your friends. They shipped you over to a new land. There must have been some sort of error in the system, because you were left unattended for a bit. You took this chance to find a weak spot in your crate and flee. You found a new home in a forest, and are perhaps trying to keep a low profile. However, rumors are that poachers are looking for you... it seems like only a matter of time before you are found.

You are sick of the way the world treats you. It is a cruel land indeed, and you are ready to strike back. You have found a forest that you currently reside in. You don't care if there are people or Pokemon there, but if they get in your way, they'd better watch out.

Your whole life has been same old, same old. You aren't really known for your kindness, but you don't go around attacking for no reason, either. You've kept to yourself for the most part, or maybe you have one or two friends. You've heard of new Pokemon coming in, as well as poachers. It seems like the more time goes on, the more pressure you feel to choose to be nice or mean. The rising issues don't exactly help, either. Will you defend you fellow forest poke, or will you attack them, loot their homes, or simply just do as you please?

There is no need to make multiple plots for returning members, simply read the "Returning Members" bit while keeping in mind that your character is good or bad. (Or neutral.) Yes, of course returning members can have had a 'change of heart' since the original.

Pokemon: The species of it. For now, 6th generation Pokemon are off limits due to the lack of intel on them.
Nickname: What is the Pokemon called? Optional if you wish, but recommended.
Gender: Unless they're like Magnemite or something like that. But even then you can give them a gender if you want... I guess..
Plot: Plot 1 New, Plot 1 Returning, Plot 2, or Plot 3.
Backstory: Were you abandoned? How long have you been in the forest? Etc.
Appearance/Shiny: If the Pokemon has any scars, odd colors, etc. If they are a shiny, say so here. Just leave it blank if they look like the status Quomimi of their species.
Personality: They gotta have SOMETHING fueling their actions.
Password: Please enter your password. If you don't, I will personally hunt you down... just kidding. I'll make someone ELSE hunt you down.
Other: In case I was stupid and forgot something, or if you have something else you'd like to share with the class.

3) You can be a minor legendary or a shiny, but you can't be both.
4) Maximum 3 characters (by popular vote).
5) Disregard rules 2 and 11 . The real password is "THE REAL SUPER POWER OF BACON...oversea travel.
6) Good can become bad, bad can become neutral, neutral can become good, good and bad can become neutral, and all the vice-versas and all that. Anyone can change, basically.
7) This RolePlay is fast-paced, so be sure to keep up. Let us know if you're going to be inactive.
8) You can swear, but try to limit it. (No f-bombing us all to smithereens.)
9) No humans besides poachers and backstories.
