Name: Miles
Gender: Male
Age: 31
Species: Floatzel
Faction: Dark Lily

Description: Like a normal Floatzel, Mile stands 3’8” from the ground. His fur has been turned to a pastel green and jade color, and various leaves and flowers are on his back, including a massive red and purple colored lily flower that Miles calls “ridiculous” and another large blue and purple lily growing out from behind his head that Miles calls “that freaking sombrero.”

In terms of attributes, Miles is perceptive and smart, but he uses all of these traits for the wrong reasons. He may also not be the strongest Pokémon out there, but he can throw a mean punch when he knows the only way to get words through to people is to slap them into their thick skulls.

If such a thing as luck exists, Miles is bone-dry of it. Miles actually prepares for things to go wrong ahead of time, knowing that’s pretty much how they’ll turn out one way or another. He’s a firm believer in Murphy’s Law, and he feels that if someone can’t afford for something to go wrong, then hell, they shouldn’t be doing it. And as a result from his lack of luck, Miles would stomp on a four leaf clover while laughing, throw a rabbit’s foot out the window like a cigarette, and tie a horseshoe around someone’s neck as a cute bowtie.

Personality: Humorously pessimistic and sarcastic, Miles may not get the best treatment from Lady Luck, but he at least knows how to spit back in her face. It doesn’t take very much to piss Miles off, and when it does, he lets everyone around him know about it, often going into a totally overblown rant that some Pokémon may find hilarious while others will find it annoying. Regardless, Miles makes sure he makes himself heard. Miles doesn’t believe in karma, but if he did, he would conclude that someone up there felt he must be the meanest bastard alive, and he knows that’s not true.

When it comes to the Dark Lily campaign, Miles often takes a “whatever” kind of personality. As his history goes, Miles was once an Urban Unity Pokémon working in a city that was overrun by the Dark Lily, and then later infected to be then forced to convert to the Dark Lily’s campaign. Miles, not really wanting to deny the whole reality of the situation, felt there really wasn’t a damn thing any Pokémon could do to try and stop the infection. He had seen what Green Magic had created, what it was capable of, and in the end, he pretty much felt the Dark Lily had this fight in the bag. Regardless, he’s just facing the reality of the situation, even if it means the entire world and all its Pokémon are the equivalent of a flowerpot. But, if you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em, right?

Miles isn’t without his qualities though. He doesn’t take credit for anything (probably because its rare that he has something to attribute for), which is really the only conclusion that the Dark Lily felt he would make a great commander… and perhaps because they needed more in a hurry and no one else wanted the job. He still doesn’t understand the exact reasons as to how that happened, but regardless, Miles feels it probably would be better to just “get this over with” and cover the last acre of land with flora, and there are times when Miles feels his hasty nature is what the Dark Lily admires most. What happens after that, Miles doesn’t really know, but he figures somewhere along the line, someone is probably bound to whine that the flowers in one area aren’t pretty enough and need to be redone, and someone else is going to whine that the flowers in another area should be a different kind or color.

In essence, Miles has ambition, but its really only to get things over with and out of his face with no concern as to how well it was actually done.

Background: Miles grew up as a young and energetic Buizel in Minacen who loved sports, games, and hide and seek. But he was a loser when it came to how well he actually did in them. After a while, other Pokémon just didn’t want him around, calling him a jinx.

Once he realized sports weren’t his forte, he tried competitive battling, and Miles, having been born under a black hole of disaster as opposed to a lucky star, always ended up fighting some “bloody damned” electric or grass type every single time.

As a result, Miles came to learn to be extremely impatient and always laughed his ass off when someone wished him “good luck.” From his impatience, if a conversation took more than fifteen minutes, he just got up and left. If planning and direction took more than fifteen minutes, he just got up and left. If a song took more than four minutes, he shut it off midway. In the end, he felt if someone couldn’t just get to the bloody point right away, it probably wasn’t worth listening to their yapping.

Miles got a job as a demolitions specialist, realizing that if he couldn’t actually get a job trying to create something because of his awful luck, he could at least shoot for trying to get a job where he destroyed something instead. And Miles was exceptional at destroying things on the job. If there was an old building that needed to be torn down, there were some Pokémon that could testify the structure looked ready to collapse just by Miles’s presence, leading them to wonder if he was jinxed many times over.

Several years later, Miles actually evolved into a Floatzel from all the practice he got from smashing glass, hurling rocks, and wrecking landscaping, even though that was not one of his job responsibilities. However, his career started to go south when the Nightjade Pokémon and the Urban Unity Pokémon got into war, and the whole Shaymin infection crisis broke out. As luck would have it, the war was destroying architecture left and right, and Miles began to believe he would lose the only job that was actually right for him. And then, the Dark Lily attacked Minacen, and essentially turned Miles into a walking flower bouquet.

And Miles hated it.

It took time for the Dark Lily to “condition” Miles to become one of them, but Miles didn’t have the patience of being held up by vines all day and night, so he decided compliance with the Dark Lily’s demands would be the fasted route to just “get it all over with.” Besides, from what he could tell, the Dark Lily was on a mean winning streak, and the Alliance was clueless when it came to trying to cure the infection and reverse the growth of the Shaymin flowers.

After serving some time in the Dark Lily, Miles was allowed to learn Green Magic, and using it to demolish buildings was actually one thing he was good at. And Miles got to thinking maybe there was hope for him yet! Spreading the flowers wasn’t actually hard at all, even though Miles didn’t honestly believe in a lot of the “spreading the lovely flowers around to beautify the entire world” mumbo jumbo that a lot of the other Dark Lily members truly believed in. To him, flowers are flowers, when it came to how pretty they were, his giveadamner was broken.

Now, after a bizarre twist of fate, Miles finds himself as a commander of the Dark Lily forces, probably for his hasty nature, his ability to destroy buildings, and/or the fact he never really takes credit for much simply because… its nothing he’s not used to. In truth, he’s hoping the Alliance Pokémon just make this easy on themselves, and just give in. He understands why they wouldn’t want to become walking flower bouquets, but then again…

…this is all coming from a guy who never gets what he wants…

I never was able to get time to get in on the original RP, so I have a question. How's people joining in now gonna work? Most 'mon are older than 5 old (AKA not newborns), so in theory everybody who wasn't in the RP as a player had to exist as an NPC. Considering NPCs generally live and die as players dictate based on need, what justifies a character to be able to survive the whole conflict 5 years ago if they HAD to exist at the time as an NPC, given how fragile NPCs are compared to player characters? Just wondering.

Also, I'd like to try to reserve this time and actually make time to participate. Please reserve me that last or semi-last Alliance spot, because I just don't wanna start infected. And just in case by the time I'm done so there's no conflict, I'll say the species now: Akoniken, Advanced Evolution of Combusken which is Fire/Dark.

You did say about to be locked and not locked, so it's still ok right?

You make it sound like every last NPC should be dead...

I don't know where this theory came up, but its wrong. Yes, its assumed that new characters in this RP did exist as NPCs in the last one. That doesn't mean they're suddenly weaker than a twig.

And with that last post in Viral Outbreak, I move the SUs to here ^^

~*****~

-Name: Landon Denathos

-Gender: Male

-Age: 24

-Species: Pikachu

-Faction: Alliance

-Description:
Picture credit goes to Sugimori, with slight edits on his eye, cheeks, and headfur by yours truly.

Landon seems to be your typical Pikachu at first glance from afar, but if one gets closer, his more distinguishing features become more noticeable. He was still a young Pikachu, so his muzzle held that distinctly youthful look to it. He was very active, even for those amongst the Nightjade, so his body was fit, sleeker than most other Pikachu around.

The fur on top of Landon's head is spiked slightly, but this is natural; he doesn't use gel, or anything like the stuff that may be found often in the homes of Pokémon in the Urban Unity. The electric sacs on his cheeks are not red like most Pikachu, but rather they are as black as his eyes. These are of little importance, as they denote little. On his back, he carried a spear just longer than himself at a diagonal angle, allowing for ease of wielding as well as comfort when keeping his weapon holstered. Around his neck on a thin, but strong piece of string is a Dragon Scale, a memento of his fallen mother. And during free moments, a golden band could be seen on one of his pawfingers.

The most distinguishing feature about him is that he has a cross-shaped scar on his left eye, rendering it useless and sealing it shut. This he sustained at an early age. It hasn't even in the slightest faded back into his skin and fur. It's unmistakably visible. However, rather than fade into a dim, hazy look of depression, his remaining eye is as bright as ever, and possibly even more so, as if trying to do enough for two eyes alone.

-Personality: Always optimistic, he always has a smile on his face, unless the situation turns really serious. His happy mood often rubs off on others around him, so it's hard to stay mad at or near Landon at all. Most who meet and stay around him become fast friends, because of how likeable he is. Because he's always smiling, other Pokémon tried to intimidate him, but found this to be impossible.

Despite his laughing nature, he can be serious behind it all. He never gives up, and refuses to give in to the ones who antagonize any from the Nightjade, or in fact any others. He has underlying reasons for this, but he doesn't bother others with his history unless they blatantly ask. He shows no fear, even when faced with unimaginable odds, and will fight for what he believes in to the very end.

Landon hasn’t had as much experience with leadership as some of his equals, having become one of the Commanders, and also the youngest Commander, after his reawakening five years prior, but his pure indomitable will and lack of fear has made him a sort of role model for those under him. Landon doesn’t view himself as one deserving to be an example or a leader, but if it helps his comrades, he would happily put himself in the front. When it comes to those that he feels shows true examples of leadership and strength, he is respectful to the utmost he can be.

Even though he was born in the countries of the Urban Unity, Landon has no real knowledge of their society since he came overseas when he was still days old, so their ideals and habits aren’t a part he was born with. He is Nightjade through and through, and he loves the more nature-centered life. The Urban Unity used to truly confound Landon, because he found the Pokémon across the sea becoming lazier, fatter, and more sedentary the more they rely on technology to solve all their problems, major and minor. After the Alliance, however, he got to know those from the Urban Unity more closely, and he realized that, even with the machines, these people were just as hard working, just as alive, and just as passionate about their way of life as he was his own. With the Alliance, he came to truly understand and appreciate the Urban Unity. And even though he still preferred to use his spear in battle, he does have knowledge and training in using weapons correctly sized for a Pikachu like himself.

There are many that Landon knows by name, but few that he considers close friends. Of these close friends, none are any closer to him, save for two. One is obvious, since Zhunjai, the pretty Sandshrew maiden, is his wife, and is almost always seen at his side. The other one might take some observation to really see, but Landon has become rather attached to Juno the Serachu as well, having come to think of him as the older brother he never had, always admiring and respecting him as much as possible. If anyone mentions Juno around him, a fiery passion could be seen in his eyes, a constant desire to avenge his death and make him proud from the afterlife.

If the situation becomes dire, and something happens that would be hell to another, he'll instantly switch from the happy-go-lucky joker to a death machine that knows one emotion: anger. Few have seen it. None have lived through it.

-Background: Landon wasn’t born in any of the Nightjade countries. His parents, a proud Raichu named Shirazon and a beautiful Pikachu named Sorai, lived in the Urban Unity, but they weren’t very happy there. Their families had been living in and around Yantacan for many generations, so that was the reason that they had been living there, but the hustle and bustle of society really didn’t strike well with the chords of their beings. They lived out in nature, out where things were quieter, peaceful, and without the distractions and offensive things found in the booming urban cities. When Landon was born in the mountains, the sight of black circles on his cheeks in place of red greatly worried them, afraid their firstborn son might be deathly ill. After a lot of thought, his parents knew that he could not be raised well in a place like this.

They had to go to the Nightjade.

For a month, Shirazon worked endlessly on a boat to transport the family across the sea; his former profession as a fishermon [A/N: Yeah, can’t call him a fisherMAN, so get over the tacky, cliché name slapped on the end :P] helped considerably with this endeavor. It took a lot of time, sweat, and blood, but in the dead of night a month after Landon’s birth, the small family finally departed from the Urban Unity, hopefully forever. Shirazon and Sorai could not be more excited from all the wonderful stories they’d heard about the Nightjade.

Originally, the plan had been to go to the continent of Kanat where the Frostfist mountains were, due to their desire to live in a beautiful mountainous region, but things don’t always go as planned, especially not for ones as huge as this one. The boat was tossed and beat around by the seas, but they eventually made it to the continent of Synamax, a northern hurricane having driven them far to the south. Somewhat disappointed at first, the ‘chus got over it quickly when they realized they were in a country of Pokémon who thought a little more on their level, and one booming with the beauty of nature rather than the stellar, overglamorized metropolises where they had come from. Finally, they could start to feel more comfortable, like they had come home.

When they arrived near a place called Brachta Beach, they were tired, looking around for a place that they could stay, but the search turned up fruitless for a time, until they met a Sandslash couple that had seen them from their farm in Doma’esk. Despite being offered a place to stay in their home, the ‘chu family refused to their desire to not impose on anyone else. So, the Sandslash family helped them find a nearby cave, which they decided would be their home as soon as they looked inside. Years pass slowly, and Landon’s upbringing as a Pichu reveal that not only were the black circles on his cheeks not a sign of a deadly illness, but that he was quite healthy and full of more energy than they had expected even from a Pichu. Despite Sorai’s initial desire to care for him as best she could to keep any weakness from getting the better of him, it was quickly apparent that he didn't need her help very often even from infancy, as he was much stronger than any Pichu the small family had encountered before. He would help his father lift heavy rocks out of their way, he'd battle assailants often, and even climb high cliffs in an effort to make himself stronger for his mother. Landon was a very speedy Pichu; able to run faster than his parents from the moment he started walking.

Unlike back in the Urban Unity, Landon’s family interacted with the Nightjade Pokémon on a daily basis, even when they lived off by themselves away from any towns or communities. One of these Pokémon, a Wartortle named Trais, became a fast friend with the family, moving out to stay nearby to them soon after meeting Shirazon and Sorai. While his parents found a dear friend in Trais, Landon’s attention was captured by someone else, a Sandshrew girl from Doma’esk named Zhunjai, who was also the daughter of the Sandslash couple that helped his family when they arrived in Synamax. The moment he saw her pretty blue eyes, he felt himself pulled to her as if by gravity, and within the hour the two were talking as if they’d merely been long-lost friends who’d found one another again.

Every single day after that, Landon made sure to go see Zhunjai, to talk, to play, to do anything and everything with her that he could; she was his only real companion, something that his parents were happy for. It was during one of these times with Zhunjai that Landon actually evolved into a Pikachu, showing how very happy he was with his friend, and Zhunjai admitted she really liked being with him as much. The two were inseparable. When the unthinkable happened, and Zhunjai lost her parents, Landon was there by her side, her paw in his and her head on his shoulder, the young Pikachu showing her comfort and companionship he knew she needed. Even when he could not understand just how awful she felt, he had an idea, based on his understanding of her feelings. Zhunjai’s sorrow didn’t stay very long, and she thanked Landon every day for being there for him. Landon was happy he could make Zhunjai happy even when she had lost her whole family.

Unfortunately for the close-knit group, more tragedy was fast approaching…

The unfortunate truth of the world is that no matter how far you go, no matter how many different people one sees, there will always be those who wish to cause harm to others. A rather large group of vicious Pokémon had come across the caves that Landon’s family lived in, and decided they wanted the area for themselves, demanding that all those living there had better leave immediately (even without packing away anything) or face harsh consequences. Being rather stubborn, Shirazon, Sorai, Landon, and Trais refused to move away from the place they spent their entire lives making as perfect as it was. And so a large battle began. Pursued into a dead-end, Shirazon and Trais displayed their prowess in battle by defeating many of their assailants, knocking all unconscious if they could help it. Unfortunately, this became harder and harder to do, until lives had to be taken…and soon, to the young Pikachu’s horror, Shirazon and Trais were two of them, thanks to a Charmeleon, a Scizor, and a Marowak. Landon and Sorai, who had been hiding before, attacked the Charmeleon relentlessly, not able to bring themselves to kill, but they beat him within an inch of his life. It was here the Marowak decided to step in, utilizing a specially-sharpened Bonemerang. With deadly aim at the charging mother and son, he let loose his instrument of death.

Sorai never had a chance.

When the Bonemerang made contact with Sorai, it cut her head clean off, causing her body to collapse mid-rush at the Leader. Landon was the lucky one of the day. After cutting through Sorai's neck, its course altered just enough so that he had enough time to duck...at least, to survive. The deadly blade cut across his left eye, destroying what use it might've had. Staggering with blood pouring down his face, he was not prepared for the Bonemerang's return trip. It cut his left eye again, exactly 90 degrees angle turn from the last cut.

He collapsed, screaming in physical pain and mental agony; he had lost his parents, and now he, too, was dying…it was an awful reality. Thinking the battle was won, the Scizor leader walked close to finish off the little Pikachu. However, the anger Landon felt erupted out of him in the form of his Thunder, instantly frying the Scizor to a husk, and killing any other nearby, unconscious survivors instantly. The Marowak was stunned by this, and therefore had no time to get away from Landon's awesome Quick Attack. Landon covered his right arm in a huge electric current and rushed at his opponent, running the Marowak through with a single strike. Landon collapsed on the bloody mass in his complete exhaustion. Breathing hard, Landon’s mind took the toll of the idea of having killed those who had killed his parents and a very close friend, what little sanity he had shattering instantly. Unfortunately for the Pikachu, lying on a dead body and dying from loss of blood, there were still quite a few assailants left who were still well enough to kill him for what he’d done to their teammates. Closing his one good eye and crying, Landon prepared to join his parents in the last few painful moments of his life…

And then a miracle happened. Someone had arrived and had started fighting the assailants off and away from Landon, the aggressive group standing no chance against whoever it was. Struggling to stay alive, Landon, stares into the sky, his vision blurring. The last thing he remembered seeing was the head of an odd-looking Pikachu with white fur instead of yellow, with his words ringing quietly in his ears: “Hang on…!”
For days the Pikachu was unconscious, before waking up in a very familiar house, that of his best friend, Zhunjai. The Sandshrew leapt up as he sat up in bed suddenly, obviously very awake, and she clung to him in relief and sadness. The two grieved together before he asked how he came to be there at her home, and she then revealed that the two weren’t alone. Standing in the room was an interesting creature, what looked like a Pikachu with white fur…no, feathers, ears shaped like wings, wing-like protrusions coming from back of his legs, and two glorious wings on his back.

The visitor, Zhunjai explained, was a Pikachu that had evolved into a new type of Pokémon through prolonged exposure to a Shiny Stone, called a Serachu. The Serachu approached Landon and greeted him, introducing himself as Juno. He had heard the battle some ways away and came to intervene, but he knew he was only just in time to save Landon in the waning moments of his life. He had carried Landon to the nearest village and asked for a medical expert, but the closest thing there was Zhunjai and her decent knowledge of herbs and remedies for injuries. He had also gone back and recovered his mother’s Dragon Scale Amulet from the battlefield, having thought that maybe Landon might appreciate having something his late mother had. Landon could not be more astounded or grateful to the Serachu, taking the Dragon Scale amulet and putting it around his neck immediately.

From that point on, Landon admired and thanked Juno endlessly for saving his life, becoming rather fond of him quickly. He was also eternally grateful for Zhunjai working to save his life as well. Without either of them, he knew he would be dead…and even though he missed his parents greatly, the two of them had given him a new lease on life, and he was going to live it and repay them with every second he could.

Soon after Landon awoke, Juno left, leaving him alone with Zhunjai while he recovered. It didn’t take him too long to recover from his injuries, and once he had, he set out to go find Juno, along with Zhunjai, who had openly admitted while he was recovering to being very fond of Landon. The two travelled together, even more inseparable than they were before, and it didn’t take them long to find Juno, where they began tagging along with him.

The growing hostilities between the Urban Unity and the Nightjade had worried Landon even before the Shaymin Flower Infection, and once it had grown into full-blown conflict, Landon knew he wanted to fight to stop this senseless violence and protect those he had come to know and love. He had already made himself fit and strong, but he trained alongside Zhunjai, learning skills that could help save lives and end battles with a minimum of lives lost on either side. While Zhunjai’s skills focused mostly on medicinal healing, and a staff with which to protect herself, Landon instead trained his own natural abilities to the greatest potential he could before maintaining them and adding in the discipline of handling a bladed spear in combat.

He hasn’t had as many years of training and experience as so many others in the Nightjade, but his personal courage and desire to protect more than made up for any lack of skill he may have. Sticking with his beloved Zhunjai, and staying close to his “big brother” Juno, Landon was ready, able, and willing with every fiber of his being to fight for his beliefs, and to protect all he knows, in and out of the hell of war.

The fights raged against the Urban Unity, and Landon had been ready, but in one certain battle that had taken place in Center Lake City, Landon took a rather lethal hit in his side. He ignored it and carried Zhunjai to safety so she could fix her own wound before his, but he had lost too much blood, and lost consciousness. He drifted into a coma soon afterwards.

The next time Landon awoke, it was too weeks later, and the whole world had gone to a flowery hell. The worst news he heard was that of Juno’s death, something that he had once thought impossible. It shook him to his very core. But after finding out that an entire brigade’s worth of soldiers from both the Urban Unity and Nightjade had stayed with him the entire time he had been unconscious, wanting to look to him for guidance and leadership after they had seen him in battle, he knew that he couldn’t allow himself to wallow in guilt and sadness. Looking to the memory of his “Brother” for guidance, Landon vowed to become a Commander worthy of his memory. As homage to the former Commander, Landon suggested that the Brigade name themselves “Juno’s Spear.”

With their Commander awake, the Brigade of Pokémon moved towards where they thought a great base of operations would be, an old abandoned fort high up in the Frostfist Mountains (ironically the place Landon’s family had meant to go many years before), and with a few months of cleaning it and re-fortifying it, the fort was a place to be reckoned with, able to survive the harshest of sieges. It was agreed, based on the story of a hero long passed, that it would be called Fort Gremio. Once the fort had been completed, Landon focused their efforts on returning the world back to the way it was once before the Dark Lily moved across the land.

When the leaders of Nightjade learned of Landon’s survival and his efforts in creating a new Fort, and in the growing struggle against the Dark Lily, it was a rather quick decision to make Landon one of the youngest Commanders in Nightjade history, giving him the proper authority so desperately needed in this time of hardship. They knew Landon’s growing experience would be direly needed in the days to come.

Landon and Zhunjai also grew closer as time went by. Upon becoming a Commander, Landon officially made her a Subcommander, due to the large size of the Brigade (which was growing larger with time), and he knew he could trust her to help with the leadership. But their relationship grew on a more personal level as well…when Landon proposed to Zhunjai. The two were married soon after.

Now, five years later, the dawning of a new age of battle approaches. And Landon is determined to see to the end of it in the favor of those who live in fear of subjugation and control.

-Other: For those of you who know Landon…yes, you know what I am gonna use as his Special Evolution x3

________________________________________________________________________________

-Name: Zhunjai Aluren

-Gender: Female

-Age: 18

-Species: Sandshrew

-Faction: Alliance

-Description: Anyone who looked at Zhunjai knew instantly that she was pretty. Most Sandshrew had gritty skin from being Ground-Types, but her skin is smooth to the touch, not at all unpleasant to feel. Rather than the common black eyes most Sandshrew have, her eyes are a very deep but bright blue, like the color of the ocean on a sunny day. Most commonly she will have a simple pink flower on her head with the stem behind her ear, accenting her more tropical appearance. Completing the image would be the grass hula skirt that she sometimes likes to wear during times of peace and quiet, dancing with or without music to keep her mind clear and bright, and her senses calm.

Most commonly seen slung over her shoulder is a green pack, made expertly of woven blades of grass and leaves, that she had made herself to hold the many healing supplies someone like her needs. Besides herbs and poultices, she also carries wrappings and crude bandages for those more stubborn injuries she has come across. In addition to her pack, she keeps her staff upon her back just in case she needs to join any battle.

Any time she feels free to do so without risk, she also wears a golden ring, with a large diamond adorning it, on one pawfinger: a symbol of her commitment to her husband.

-Personality: Zhunjai is a very happy Sandshrew, almost always seen with a smile upon her face. She can be excitable, but for the most part the little maiden is calm and caring at all times. She is very gentle, not able to bring herself to cause any mortal harm to anything, hence her weapon choice of the staff and decision to be more of an herbal healer in the midst of a battlefield rather than a combat specialist. She can be fierce when needed to be, but this kind of emotion for her doesn’t last long when her caring nature shows through even that.

One of the main things that make Zhunjai such a good medic would be her incredible intelligence. She is sometimes told to be a genius, though she will immediately deny such things. She knows she is intelligent, yes, but a genius? Hardly. There are things she does not know anything about, and while she may strive to learn about things she does not know if there is a way, there is still more to know out in the world.

One thing that causes her distress is all the pain around her, due to the recent war that had sprung up. She had been wondering for most of her life why the Urban Unity and the Nightjade didn’t get along, not arriving at an answer that satisfied her as of yet. She was overjoyed when they finally put their differences behind them to work together, but the campaign of the Dark Lily is just as bad in her eyes. War hurts her on a spiritual level, but she knows that she alone can do nothing to stop it, so the best she can hope is that the war will be won with a minimum of lifeloss. Due to her appreciation for life itself, she prefers to give medicine and healing herbs to anyone and everyone on a battlefield, friend and foe alike. It’s not uncommon for her to be seen tending to wounded Dark Lily Pokémon after a battle.

Even though she is caring, she obviously has a closer relationship to some more than others, but she couldn’t possibly have a closer relationship with any other than Landon; as her husband, he is the only family she has, and she is determined to not lose him no matter what.

-Background: Zhunjai was born and raised in the small little village of Doma’esk, north of Brachta Beach on the Nightjade continent of Synamax, which was a farming community. The neighbors were quite far-spaced, meaning Zhunjai didn’t have very many friends, but she did have a few, and they, along with her family, were very close. Life was simple for her, since there was plenty of peace and quiet, but that doesn’t mean that her education was simple at all, either. It was obvious from an early age that Zhunjai would grow up to be an intelligent person, and so her parents took advantage of every opportunity and resource they could to help Zhunjai’s wealth of knowledge along. Lacking the materials and teaching practices most commonly found in schoolhouses in the Urban Unity, the Sandslash couple still managed to give her a wealth of knowledge even they did not have before trying to teach her. Ever eager, the young Sandshrew girl sat, rapt, as she absorbed more and more knowledge.

Due to the fact that their village was small, hardly anything from the outside world ever reached their ears, something that they preferred; why let the worries of the world affect them when they had their own things to worry and care about? But sometimes some things do come to their knowledge and affect them…and in this case, it happened to be a family of ‘chus, having gone across the sea on a boat they made themselves not too long after Zhunjai had been born. They didn’t come to the village, but they were able to be seen from the lettuce patch on the Sandslash family’s farm. They were a tired buch, obviously hardened by their journey and in dire need of a place of their own. Always ones to help out travelers, the Sandslash pair immediately went out to help the small family by offering a bed to sleep in at their house. Once the Raichu male made it clear that they dind’t want to intrude, and preferred a cave or cove to stay in, they immediately knew of a nearby place that would be perfect, just up a hill outside the community.

A five-minute walk was all that then separated the tuckered-out ‘chus from their new home, which they decided immediately upon seeing it. The next day, the Sandslash couple introduced their daughter and a local friend, a Wartortle named Trais, to the family, and they became a tight-knit group quite quickly. Particular to note was Zhunjai’s new friendship with the young Pichu son, Landon. She was immediately fond of him, because he was just as friendly with her as she was with him.

Over the years, the families constantly interacted with one another, finding a kinship in them, and relishing it. Any help that either needed would be provided by the other, whether for harvesting, building, finding, anything. While the parents were out working together, Landon and Zhunjai were always playing and having fun with one another. Soon enough, Landon’s thirst for knowledge led him to start having classes with her parents as well, learning alongside his close friend. Over the years their friendship could only get stronger and stronger, as proven when Landon soon evolved into a Pikachu…and this would friendship would show greatest when a great tragedy struck.

Again, it wasn’t common for anything from the outside world to affect the farming community. Even sicknesses were kept out of the clean land, until one day, when a nasty plague took a deathgrip on even the strongest of Pokémon. The children were mostly left untouched, but nearly every single adult in Doma’esk was infected with a virus that left them bedridden with little energy, their conditions worsening. Not many survived once infected…and neither did Zhunjai’s parents. They were sick in bed for nearly three weeks before they succumbed to the strain. Zhunjai had tried caring for them with all her might, her efforts keeping her so ingrained she didn’t even think to go ask Landon’s parents for help. Landon had only discovered that they were sick on the day of their passing, when he encountered a sobbing Zhunjai. Immediately, he was by her side, comforting and caring for her. The whole ordeal had nearly snapped Zhunjai’s sanity, but Landon had saved her with his compassion and friendship. Zhunjai didn’t know how she would ever be able to repay him.

Life has a rather cruel sense of humor.

One day not too much later, Zhunjai had a knock at her door. Figuring it was Landon, she opened the door with a smile, but it eventually turned into a ghastly expression, one of horror and surprise, as she beheld a strange, winged Pikachu, with Landon slumped over her shoulder, blood dripping from his face. Without waiting for an explanation, Zhunjai beckoned the strange one into her home and had him set Landon on the table in her kitchen, pulling out herbs and wrappings as fast as she could. While working on Landon, the strange Pikachu explained to her what he witnessed, making a feeling of pure terror sweep through her very core. Landon had lost his parents, and was losing the fight for his own life, due to a band of thugs that had tried to kill them all. She could hardly believe such an experience had just happened, but her mind was more focused on helping Landon keep his life, even though his eye was definitely lost. Once she had finished administering her treatment, Landon’s breathing was more regular, and, with a sigh of relief, she moved Landon to the spare bedroom upstairs and allowed the Pikachu to explain further, as well as introduce himself.

She found out that he was named Juno, and that he had evolved into a Serachu from prolonged exposure to a Shiny Stone some time ago. It took a bit for Zhunjai to understand that any item made for inducing evolution could affect any Pokémon. It was something that amazed and intrigued her, being an inquisitive little Sandshrew. For the next few days while Landon recovered, she found out as much about this new information on evolution as she could from Juno. She wondered what her evolutions due to different stones and items looked like, none in particular attracting her more than the next.

After Landon awoke, she introduced him to Juno, who’d saved his life and brought him to her. It was obvious that Landon’s affections for Zhunjai had grown, and that he had gained respect and admiration for the one who had come to his rescue without even knowing him before. Juno left later that evening, but Landon and Zhunjai talked about it, and they agreed that it might be for the best to go and seek him out, exploring the world as they did so. Juno had the aura of a natural leader, and they were prepared to follow him to their last.

It wasn’t long after they found him and tagged along that the conflict, something that worried Zhunjai to no end; Pokémon killing other Pokémon was bad enough, but now the fighting would take place over the entire world, and that amount of massacring would be difficult to just hear about much less see. However, Zhunjai knew she had to get involved. The blame put on them by the Urban Unity was misplaced, as was their aggression, so she felt she should help out her fellow Nightjade residents. And being a healer, she knew that she could do some good in and out of combat, not only for those of Nightjade, but also those left alive and wounded from the Urban Unity side. No matter the threats or the criticism her actions would bring from those around her, she would continue to heal those she saw were in need of help. Besides, with Landon always close, she never had to worry about anyone actually carrying out any of those threats.

She eventually decided to take up lessons on using a staff, because she knew that she had to defend herself from being attacked as well, but rather than kill any attackers, she preferred to incapacitate them instead, to avoid the need for bloodshed. If she caused an injury, she was already there to patch them up anyway.

In the midst of the battle at Center Lake City, Zhunjai was very nearly killed, but she was saved by Landon; unfortunately, he was grievously wounded in the process, and he picked her up and ran to carry her to a safe spot. Despite her protests, Landon refused to stop and set her down until they were outside the city. After she was allowed to patch herself up, she looked to Landon, and terror grew inside her as she noticed his eyes closed. Desperately, she tried waking him up, but to no avail; still, she clung to the hope that he was still alive, and she healed his body as much as she possibly could to help assure his survival.

The arrival of the Dark Lily shook Zhunjai immensely, and she worked with other Nightjade soldiers, as well as Urban Unity soldiers, to evacuate all the citizens and get Landon to safety. The fact that the Urban Unity and Nightjade were now working together brought even the tiniest bit of relief to Zhunjai, something she needed in this tumultuous time. For two weeks, she and ten thousand soldiers waited in the Emerald Coast for Landon’s reawakening.

When Landon finally did awaken, she was so relieved that she broke down into tears instantly, the feeling of dread finally leaving her mind for good. With Landon back, a part of herself was back, and she felt strong again. When Landon and the whole brigade of Pokémon that had waited for him moved out, she was right there with him.

Surprisingly, Zhunjai was an incredible help in reinforcing the fortress found in the Frostfist Mountains, because defenses were one of her main studies while she was in training to be in the Nightjade military. It’s because of her and several others that the project was completed in only several months rather than years. This lead Landon, when he was officially made into a Commander, to justify his decision to make her his Subcommander.

But the surprises wouldn’t end there, because Landon surprised her during their private moments soon after in the traditional way, by taking a knee, presenting a ring, and asking that most binding of questions. Her answer was given without hesitation, and there was a big wedding set up inside Fort Gremio quite soon after.

With her loyalties set and her friends ever close to her, she was determined to see this war end on a good note for the entire world…

-Other: Again, Zhunjai has a theme song, found here ^^

And here's mine as promised. It's a miracle I actually finished in a timely manner, huh? Well unless you don't like something, then I suppose it wouldn't be finished until I made edits.

Name: Karai Horoshi
Gender: Female
Age: 22
Species: Torchic > Combusken > Akoniken, Fire/Dark type
Faction: Independent, Alliance affiliated
Description: Click here

My attempt at pixel editing, but it's only a start. The “hair” part is down like people hair, the V is longer and moved a bit higher up the forehead, the tail should be long and spiky on the end, and there should also be spikes on the shoulders and elbows.

And now for a more proper description.

An Akoniken is about a foot taller than a Blaziken. The colors of the flames they use are a dark brown, and their leg coloring is a dark brown as opposed to a bright orange. This variant of the species is at least three times as fast as a Blaziken, able to run on the surface of water without fear of getting wet.

Karai wears a belt with some pockets made for storage, and a mask to cover the bottom part of her face, but usually it's just worn as a neck scarf for decoration purposes.
Personality: Karai is not much of a people person and doesn't like crowds. Having been in charge of a couple hundred Pokemon for a while, she has a bit of a problem with taking orders from others. A bit hot tempered, but usually tries to not get mad over silly things. If you make friends with her, its forever unless you really do something to upset her. She enjoys fights but is never the one to start conflicts. She's often honest to a fault. If you're doing something wrong, smell, or ask her if you're fat, be prepared to be told the truth. Often in a sarcastic tone.
Background: A paradise for Fire Pokemon located in the Tripplecross Sea roughly between Bayoutown and Kuran, for generations the small volcanic island of Kinkau had managed to stay out of the conflicts going on in the rest of the world because of it's natural volcanic fog cover. The only ones who knew of it were those coming to do business with the locals. They had a lucrative business selling evolution items to the mainland. But this seemingly peaceful island held a secret. Once every two generations, the residents must lose one of their leading family or risk unleashing terrible destruction. Or so the story goes, but nobody has come back with proof, until recently that is.

One day, Karai was startled by Talet, her father, with terrible news. Grandfather was calling for her. “But dad, didn't he jump into Mount Spew to protect us? Not even a Fire type can survive lava. And what do you mean calling for me?”

The time had come, but she wasn't close to ready. Apparently those who sacrifice themselves to keep the volcano dormant went to a world beyond this one. Grandfather had appeared in a dream and told her father that there was going to be a cataclysmic eruption in three days. It was too soon, and a Combusken was not strong enough to sedate the volcano. Ignoring her pleads, dad jumped into the volcano to spare his daughter's life. For a week, all was well. But suddenly the volcano became active again one night. The vibrations woke her up.

Resigned to her fate, she headed to the mouth of the volcano. “What am I doing? I'm too young, too weak, and an only child. If I do this there would be nobody to lead my people. I don't even know how to do that. I'm just a teenager.” She thought to herself. The lava had been rising the past couple of days and there was a lot of smoke. There in the center of the lava on a magma rock was her father. It was unheard of for a Fire type to succumb to burns, but he was severely burned and looked like he wasn't even alive anymore. He hadn't eaten or drank the whole time. But why was he there? She'd seen him jump into the lava and disappear. Had the mountain rejected him? There was no way to jump back up from that rock, but thankfully she'd brought a grappling hook. She had to do something, at least give him a proper burial and start the evacuations. She jumped down there.

There was no semblance of a pulse. How to carry him out? The body weighed a lot. The old Blaziken was dead, or so it seemed. Something was clutched in his hand. Suddenly he coughed and spoke, barely above a whisper. “Karai take...this Dusk...Stone. We.....who live on.....Kinkau are.....especially sensitive to.......the effects of.....the stones mined.....on the....island. You must....lead......our people. I.....love you.” He wheezed and closed his eyes. He was truly dead, and the stone rolled out of his hand a little as his muscles relaxed for the last time.

Dad was dead. Tears welled up in the young Pokemon's eyes, and she got on her knees sobbing loudly. Karai was never the type to cry like this, ever. She'd just never been a very emotional person, but there was no way to hold back the grief. The sound echoed around her as she wiped the tears, trying to focus on the fact that the volcano was going to erupt soon.

But what did he mean? Dad hadn't evolved through stone evolution, especially not with a Dusk Stone. Gotta make a choice. The lava was rising higher. Grabbing the stone, she had no idea what would happen. A rush of energy, and a glow all over. It felt strangely soothing and pleasant. When it was over, Karai flexed her muscles and long tail. A tail? What was a tail doing on a Blaziken?

“Uwaah! What have I become?!” The scream echoed in the volcano mouth. No time to think about that now. She grabbed her father's body and leaped out of the mouth of the volcano. Why was that jump suddenly so easy? Putting the body in what looked like a safe spot, something compelled her to jump back to that rock. Madness. The volcano was about to erupt soon. Why did she come back to that rock?

”My child.” The voice sounded masculine, yet feminine. Strangely plural, yet also singular. It felt familiar, and like it wasn't being spoken out loud.

“Who's there?!” Yelled Karai, looking around and seeing no one.

”My child, there is no time. You must listen.”

No time? Yea, the understatement of the evening. “Dad?! But didn't you just die?!”

”No, but he is with us now. We are the voices of your ancestors. We, who sacrificed ourselves to protect this island.”

“The lava is rising! At this point, I don't care who you are! If you have something to say, spit it out!”

”You have received a one of a kind gift among our people, but you won't be alone for long. Others like you will soon follow. You have the power to control this volcano and others like it. Control it, but not stop it. Volcanoes must erupt, for it is their nature. But you can slow the eruption and direct the lava so it doesn't harm anybody.”

The lava was an inch from the surface of the rock Karai was staging on. “How?! Make it fast!”

”Child of Fire and Shadow, you need only dive in and you may will where the lava flow goes. We bestow upon you Immolation, use it to protect our people.” And just like that, the presence speaking to her felt like it went away.

Dive in? No, even most Fire and Rock types couldn't survive heat like this. In the stories, nobody ever came back. Father survived, but not for long. If jumping back here to this rock in the first place was madness, then what would one call jumping into a live volcano? Out of time. The lava was almost at her feet.

“THIS IS INSAAAANE!” Karai jumped into the molten lava.

Present day

Kinkau continued to enjoy a lucrative Evolution Stone trade with the mainland cities, not knowing what was happening in the outside world, or caring. What Nightjade had called “Advanced Evolutions” became more common among the populace.

On the anniversary of her father's death, Karai recalled what happened on that day. Talet rests behind Karai's house, and Laira her mother, prefers to pretend that Talet never died and will come back home some day. He was the only casualty of the eruption. The residents of the island were miraculously spared, as they watched the lava actually move to avoid their homes. But the volcano has been active again recently and could erupt again.

Since she doesn't dare attempt that stunt again, there's only one thing to do. The people have to involve themselves with the affairs of the rest of the world, and hope a more permanent solution can be found.

Other: For the record, I didn't intend to have a type advantage like this. I just like Fire. A lot.

Name: Shoto
Gender: Male
Age: 20
Species: Ninetails, Common Infected
Faction: Dark Lily

Description:
http://img255.imageshack.us/img255/1691/in...edninetails.jpg
Shoto’s fur has been turned almost completely green by the infection, the only exception is the very tips of his nine tails which have miraculously stayed the same darker brown they were before he got infected. He has also grown what looks like a necklace of red and orange flowers and one red flower over his left ear. These have brought him no end of torment, but he tries to ignore them the best he can.

Personality: Shoto hates having been transformed, even if it were only the ridiculous way he now looked, he might not mind so much, but it’s having all these new weaknesses that he needs to remember that really irritate him. About the only good thing is that water doesn’t seem to do as much damage as it did before, in fact he can even live off water alone now which is handy, but boring. He doesn’t see the Shaymin flowers as a blessing at all like the rest of the Dark Lily crackpots seem to, he sees them for the plague they really are. However, there is no cure and no way of getting rid of the flowers or the freaks that started invading his territory. The Dark Lily offered to return his territory to him when the world was filled with “Shaymin’s blessing” if he helped them make it so. Plus, this way the whole world would be in the same blasted boat as he was. So, he will help them to turn the world into a freaked-out flower-pot, and the sooner the better.

Background: Shoto and his pack of Ninetails lived happily on the outskirt of the Koraken Desert. They were almost never disturbed by outsiders because who else would want to live in a desert besides maybe another fire-type and even then it took a special kind. Five years ago, when the Shaymin Flowers first appeared, the group had no idea what they were getting into by examining them. Poor silly Nani even ate some for a time, and so is more deeply infected than the rest, but not to the point of being one of the Dark Lily’s so-called “Chosen”, at least not yet. When it first happened, all the girls were making fun of Shoto behind his back since he now looked just as girly as one of them. But, he put that down immediately and they learned not to comment on it. For a time some outsiders would also comment upon it, whenever they came across the pack, but those outsiders learned quickly not to make that mistake again. Now though almost everyone in Azmarax is in the same boat anyway so it’s rarely ever even thought about. The other problem that started when the Shaymin Flowers cropped up was that Shoto’s territory was being encroached on by outsiders who wanted to attend to or grow more of the crazy-ass flowers that started all this in the first place. So, Shoto and his pack now go wherever the Dark Lily people want him to, helping to cast more Green Magic, which they’ve all now learned the basics of. Shoto’s been promised though that once the world is covered in Shaymin Flowers that he will have his territorial land returned to him. Whether or not they’ll keep their word Shoto doesn’t care, when this is all over he will have his territorial land back whether they give it back or not.

Other: Shoto never travels without his harem, whom he generally refers to as his pack so as not to demean them in the eyes of others. The pack consists of Keisha Shoto’s alpha mate and the controller of the group when Shoto is otherwise occupied, Leti Shoto’s second favorite, Sari the brains and conscience of the group, and Nani who’s pretty but not really all there.

I actually made this chara for the first, but wasn't able to join until after it ended so I'm hoping I can use her now even though she is Alliance... If not, that's fine.

Name: Takira
Gender: Female
Age: 21
Species: Dracovolt (Dratini > Dragonair > Dracovolt) A Dragonair evolved with the use of a Thunder Stone. She is a Dragon/Electric type with Levitate as her ability. However, her wings are fully functional.
Faction: Alliance

Description:

From the crest of her head to the tip of her tail, Takira is 14ft 4in long, but when she’s standing the crest of her head only reaches 7ft 4in. She weighs in at a healthy 324lbs. Her eyes are a shocking green that even seems to glow in dark places. Almost all of her skin is a pale blue, the exceptions being her stomach, which is such a light blue that is almost white, and the ten, pale yellow stripes found in pairs on her neck, upper arms, and legs. The horn in the center of her forehead is the same pale yellow as the stripes on her body, as are the feathers of her wings and ear-tufts. At the base of each ear-tuft is a turquoise lightning-bolt. At her throat and the end of her tail, her power-gems have turned yellow and now help her to harness the power of Electricity. When Takira must walk, her tail is usually held up between her wings to keep it out of her way and from getting stepped on.

Personality: Though Takira tries to take the optimistic view as often as she can, she is also a realist, she faces all situations with the best knowledge she can get about them and then does what she feels she must based on that knowledge. She no longer begrudges those that were originally from Urban Unity, for she has realized with the rest of the Nightjade faction that the true enemy is the fanatic Dark Lily faction that is so ready to transform the world into one big flower-pot.

Background: Buried deep in the high plateaus of the Synata desert, there is a winding warren of caverns. In the largest of these caverns there is a spring of fresh water. From that spring has grown a large lake and from that lake, an underground river runs out to sea. Within those hidden caverns, a society of water, rock, and dragon pokemon has flourished. This is where Takira was born. Her parents, a Dragonite named Toki and a Lapras named Shakira were both wandering spirits and so when Takira evolved into a Dragonair at the early age of eight, they allowed her to decide if she wanted to see the world with them or stay with her friends. Takira, sad to leave her friends, but more excited to see the world, chose to leave with her parents. When she was saying good-bye to a long-time family friend, a Lanturn named Lectra, the kindly electric and water type wanted to give Takira something special to remember home by and so she gave Takira the Thunder Stone that Takira had admired in her friend’s home so often. Takira put the stone on a seaweed thong and wore it around her neck, just underneath the power stone that naturally grew on her neck. For eight years, Takira and her parents traveled the world and Takira learned a great many things, and yet she never evolved, hoping to someday discover what effect a Thunder Stone would have upon her next stage of evolution.

When the Shaymin Flower crisis hit, Takira was sixteen and they were living in a sea-cave not far from the Nightjade village of Eastedge. When the Urban Unity forces decimated Eastedge, Toki was killed when one of their machines destroyed a near-by building sending debris flying. Takira had been with him and was injured, but saved from death by Toki’s selfless act of shielding her with his body. Takira had been knocked out by the concussion from the blast and when she came to, she was curled up between her father and the wall of another building. Groggily she asked, “Dad? What happened?” when he gave no reply, she blinked her eyes and refocused them only to see her father’s lifeless eyes glazed over and then to realize that he wasn’t breathing. First she recoiled, shrinking away from what had once been so familiar that now seemed strange in death, then she began to whimper and she moved forward again to nudge her father, and whispered, “Daddy please, no, don’t leave me.” In the back of her mind, a thought cropped up, it’s too late, they killed him. “no, No, NOOOOOOO!” In that moment, her grief was overwhelmed by rage at the Urban Unity army that had taken her father from her. She needed to be able to strike back at them, that need, that rage, caused a reaction from the Thunder Stone she wore and she evolved. With the almost overwhelming power of lightning that was now a part of her, the rage only seemed to grow. Takira wanted revenge and she wanted it now.

She flew high and saw that some of the machines that had created this carnage were still moving, still attacking, and a whole company of Urban Unity soldiers with it. She flew towards them, and targeted the first of the machines. She let the lightning loose. She had put so much rage and power into the Thunder attack that it destroyed the machine and killed not only those in it, but at least two soldiers standing near-by and burned a few others. Her rage was not spent just yet, and neither was her electric power. She attacked two more machines in quick succession. But, the soldiers had noticed her and were now firing back, with their machines, but also with their own Pokemon attacks. Two bullets and one Confusion hit her hard and her rage was gone. In its place an empty confusion and overwhelming sadness inundated her. At first she wasn’t even sure why she was sad, the reason flit through her mind for a split second and she fled the battle-field. When the Confusion wore off, she was able to tend to her wounds, and it came to her that she should not leave her father’s body just there in the street. So she went, and despite the carnage managed to find where she had been, and she indeed found her father’s body right where it had been before. She cleared away the debris that had killed him and when she had she was just able to carry him, but she carried him all the way back home.

That day, after they had honored her father, Shakira and Takira went in different directions, Shakira took to the sea, wanting to return to the colony where she and Toki had first met, where Takira had grown up. Takira on the other hand, could not simply run and hide, she wanted to help Nightjade. So, she flew north to join the Nightjade army. She was there for it all, but she had never risen very high in rank and hadn’t done anything particularly note-worthy. She had even helped with the final evacuation of Victakan. She knew of the valor of the commandoes led by the Serachu Juno, they had given their lives to allow everyone else to escape. Takira had been one of those put in charge of making sure that the refugees made it out alive, and so that was what she did. Some groups went to cities in Kanat, others to other various regions throughout Kanat and Synamax. Takira was with the group that went to Sylath on Synamax. When she had completed her duties, she took a leave of absence to return to her childhood home since it was not far away. Now, she is ready to return to the fight, though she is not very sure what she can do to help stop the spread of magic-induced, infection-carrying flowers, she knows she must at least try.

Been wanting to do this for a while...

Name: Kitaru
Gender: Female
Age: 31
Species: Pikachu. Common
Faction: Dark Lily

Description: http://img151.imageshack.us/img151/1193/pikachuy.jpg(credit to me for picture =D)
Stands at a height of one foot ten inches, at least half a foot taller than normal Pikachus. Kitaru is evidently different in many ways, one of those being her fur is a dark green colour, due to the infection, and she has tiny trees growing on her head, about half an inch, maybe an inch, in size. Her eyes are a sparkling silver colour, whilst the pupils are gold. Her right ear is missing a tiny bit off the top of it, making it about a quarter of an inch smaller than the left ear. Kitaru wears a small necklace around her neck with the symbol of Fire on it.

Kitaru has a scar just under her left ear, and the scar is about an inch in length. She wears a silver arm bracer that covers the lower half of her arm up to her elbow on both arms, and on her right hand wears a golden glove, but doesn't wear a glove on the other hand. Kitaru has a willow bow which she carries on her back. Kitaru also has a small silver sword sheath which contains her golden sword.

Personality: Kitaru has a strong distaste to most things around her, having grown to dislike the world because of being treated like an outcast because she was infected. However, she doesn't hate the Dark Lily, because they welcomed her with open arms. Kitaru isn't as intent on spreading the infection as others, however she is still keen because she wants revenge on the people who cast her away because of being infected. Kitaru feels like she's something when she's with the Dark Lily, and feels that without the Dark Lily, that she would have nothing. Because of this, she will fight for the Dark Lily no matter what, until her dying breath is exceded from her body. Kitaru can be a violent person if necessary, not one to shy away from blood or killing, sometimes even taking enjoyment out of it, however, that only happened once, and it was when she had got revenge on a group of Pokemon who had constantly been mean to her.

Kitaru has learnt to lock the majority of her emotions away, so as to not appear weak. She tires of the chanting, and lacks emotion in spreading the blessing of Shaymin. Kitaru is easily annoyed, and can be easily ticked off if the right buttons are pushed, otherwise she's a pretty tough nut to crack. When angered, she is extremely violent. She is arrogant at times, and a smartaleck. Kitaru perceives the Alliance as a bunch of fools, a dying era that should just give up and save themselves the humiliation of being decimated by the Dark Lily.

Background: Kitaru grew up in Jansen, in Synamax, and grew up with an ordinary family, and attended a school. However, Kitaru never quite fit in because of her personality, as well as her tastes, and eventually had to drop out of the school because of being bullied. Kitaru's parents died when she was nineteen, and she immediately left Jansen, to go travel. She happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, and was infected by the Shaymin Flower Infection. Deep in sorrow, she returned home to Jansen, and was outcast by everybody, friends and family. Kitaru was deeply angered and swore revenge, and when the infection hit Jansen, she felt somewhat happy about having gained her revenge, however she personally went to Jansen and exacted her revenge by killing the few living tormentors she could find,

Kitaru then joined the Dark Lily who turned out to be secretly controlling Jansen, and was welcomed with open arms, being treated the same as every other member of the Dark Lily. Kitaru was in the army that attacked Center Lake City, and had attacked a Pikachu and a Drowzee which happened to evolve into a Hypno. An Armored Dragon rescued the duo, and was reinforced by LOCKDOWN soldiers. The Dark Lily forces pressed the attack, and Kitaru dealt a vicious blow to the Armored Dragon, the vine she launched skewering its chest. Kitaru helped with the mass infection of Center Lake City by aiding a group of Dark Lily soldiers move through the city, summoning the infective vines, and thus spreading the pollen.

Kitaru was then given orders for her group to head to Victakan Plains, where they cornered the fabled Juno, with the help of Xy. Kitaru felt a deep satisfaction inside herself when Xy ordered the deaths of Juno and his soldiers. Kitaru was given the order to march on Snowpoint City, and infected it, and then mobilised to take Eastedge, finding it practically decimated. Kitaru then moved back to Jansen, to press forward the Dark Lily infection in Synamax.

Other:
Golden Sword- About six inches in length, a specially smelted and sharpened blade personally made for Kitaru.

Banette attack!

OK then.Can i make a second character?

Name: Icefang
Gender: Female
Age: 20
Species: Froslass
Faction: None

Description: Icefang is 4.03''. She wears a Dawn Stone, which gives her Magical powers. She is blind, but uses her powers to see. On her left eye there is a scar.

Personality: 5 years ago, she was a nice kind Froslass. But now, she is cruel, and has no remorse.

Background: Icefang was born blind. She used to be a kind and caring Froslass. She was always pushed around, and made fun of, because she was blind. This was why she became cruel. But one day, she discovered a magic that she could use. She felt that she could take revenge on these Pokemon, and did. She belives that everyone thinks she i freak, so he ran off into the Abandonded Mine in Jansen. She lives here no, and if anyone ever goes, in, she uses her powers to freeze them, and keep them as decorations.

But one day, she went to her family, and attacked them. her father scrathed her left eye, and her guiding stick broken. After she froze them, She discovered a Dawn Stone necklace. She put this on, and now she can "see". Because she lives in the abandoned mine, and rarely goes outside, she doe'snt know about the Dark Lily.

You need more for the description, personality, and history. Exactly how is she evil and what has she done that would be considered evil? As for the background, how exactly did she live before the current events? You really need to answer these and not leave her character so vague in detail.

Yup, and to add to what Neo said, I have a character who isn't with the Allies yet due to living an isolated life but having trade relations with them, so hence the affiliation part.

But generally independents are frowned upon aren't they Neo? I'd say perhaps make it a requirement to have intentions to join a faction soon into the RP, not necessarily the main Alliance or Dark Lilly ones, but one of the ones that exist. Kaioo's multitude of characters created a couple "Other" factions.

And seriously I don't get how he can do that. Not only is it conflict of interest to be able to write adequately for multiple sides, but Kaioo just killed one of his own characters. To me, it becomes hard to get into a character's skin, to actually care what happens to a single character, if I had more than two (So what's losing a couple bodies right? He's like Legion from Dreamscape. Don't even need to worry about trying to escape the afterlife because he just adds another to his repertoire to replace the one he lost) but, Kaioo you've got like what 7 and still going? How come there isn't a soft cap on character count? I say soft cap because if he really needs to make another one and has a good reason, I don't see why it shouldn't be allowed, but it just seems like a waste to control so many characters. What side are you really rooting for personally, Kaioo? I can't tell because you're all over the place.

Just my 2 cents, because this has been floating around in my head for a while.

The characters I have created are all essences of my own personality, and therefore myself. We can have as many characters as we can handle, and I believe that I can not only handle the number of characters I currently have, but it allows me to challenge myself by writing from different viewpoints, and my different personalities.

I personally am not rooting for any side, I'm more of in the middle, watching with interest to what happens within the story. I have no personal attachments to any of the sides, and I hone myself to understand that so I can write fairly, and equally, for my characters.

And originally, I only had three, then I ended up turning my NPCs into PCs so this time round I just decided to do sign ups for them...
