Okay, this may not be bugging everyone else like it's been bugging me, but ever since I heard about how you can send a Pokemon to the Pokewalker pedometer thing to gain exp, I've been worried about misplacing it! I mean, wouldn't it just be HORRIBLE if you sent your best Pokemon over to get it some extra exp while you were unable to be on your DS, and you lost your Pokewalker! Gah, I'd be freaking out!!
So, anyone else have any worries about the new games? -------------------- |

I dont plan on using the pokewalker, my main worry is that pokemon follow you being not optional, id love it at first, but then I would be annnoyed.

I normally don't misplace things, but that would really suck.
I'm also worried about getting tired of having a Pokemon always following me. I already hate how it has to be the first Pokemon in your team. -------------------- |

Not really, just keep it on you at all times, and make sure you have it with you when you leave from over someone's house or someplace else. And since I'll keep things in my pocket when I'm walking, I don't think I'll lose the Pokewalker.

I think that the whole pokewalker thing worries me a bit, especially if you forget where you last put it..

OK, the pokewalker is only on HG/SS, so no other games can use it.Look up this kind of thing more often please. I'm not calling you idiots of course, just saying you should search out your info on the internet first. It isn't mandatory for you to use the pokewalker. It's only mandatory for events and things from events.

Also, what if your favorite pokemon was there, and you lost it, also, I think it would be cool if you put one Pokemon from Heart Gold, like a version exclusive, into your Pokewalker, and put it in your Soul Silver, would'nt that be cool.........

I think I'm gonna tie it to my DS Lite. Or at least the travel-carrier (which the DS is pretty much attached to)
I take the DS with me anywhere anyway XD (Well I used to do that with my brother's DS after getting Platinum... I just got a DS lite today XD. Which is smaller so its even more chances of me taking it everywhere) This would make the chances of me loosing the pokčwalker as big as the chances of me loosing my DS lite...and the carrier box with all my games which would suck BIG TIME, but I don't think that's gonna happen XD I'm guessing that Pokčwalker is as big as my old Tamagotchi and I never lost that... except when I lent it to my cousin and he lost it... If the Pokewalker ran out of battery while I was walking. What would happen then? Nothing good, I'm assuming...

I'm just afraid I may accidentally leave it in a pant pocket when my mom does laundry.

I left my Ruby game in a box where I kept my books, and even though I prolly got a book out of that box every week, I didnt find the game for almost 2 years XD -------------------- |

I wouldn't lose it because I won't take it anywhere. When a pokemon needs leveled up I'll just transfer it and shake the walker up and down for a while. (why bother walking when you can sit and do something better?)

I'm used to misplacing things, so it wouldn't really bother me... I misplaced a game for 7 years... It was in a bag... Sad times...

If the Pokewalker ran out of battery while I was walking. What would happen then? Nothing good, I'm assuming... I was thinking about that yesterday when I was looking at it. Hopefully it will have the data saved into the thing itself so that when you change the battery it will still have your Pokemon in it. -------------------- |

If the Pokewalker ran out of battery while I was walking. What would happen then? Nothing good, I'm assuming... I'm sure it won't matter. Sure the Pokčmon probably stops getting exp but your DS doesn't erase its settings when the battery runs out does it? Neither does a laptop, or any game console doesn't erase its data if you take out its power supply. -------------------- Uxie Anitarig Daisuke Weasley Sceptile Rika |
