Since this may be an exploitable bug, I figured I should post here for the first time in 9 (soon 10) years of playing this game to avoid getting banned.

Honey Power is active so I've been clicking eggs and not really paying attention to my grabs, but after a bit I noticed my grabs stayed at 74 remaining for a while. There's a big multiplier today, so not much concern about how many. I took note of it, took more eggs, and it still stayed at 74 grabs remaining. I popped into the mobile version of the site to grab, and it said I'd used 8 grabs out of 82. That wasn't right, I had a whole box of Pokemon I'd hatched today, and all of them were from the shelter. I started grabbing eggs more slowly to watch my counter, and it seemed like every other egg or so hasn't been contributing to my shelter grab count, but that's not very consistent either. I took another four eggs just now and my shelter grab count is still at 70. I haven't been clicking much today either, just my own eggs because I've been busy, so I haven't gotten more grabs from that. Taking eggs on mobile only doesn't seem to be good either, I haven't clicked a thing and it's given me 83 total shelter grabs, both used and unused, now.

I'm using Mozilla Firefox, Version 106.0.2 (64-bit). I'll update Firefox to the latest version to see if that fixes it, and until this seems fixed I'm going to just hatch three boxes of Pokemon today to make sure I don't abuse it. Sad to have to do that on a Honey Plus day, but I don't wanna risk exploiting the bug.
EDIT: Updated Firefox to its current version, 107.0, still getting this bug.

Also hello, thanks for running this game for me, I've been playing daily since I was a teenager, please don't ban me for testing things on my phone and the desktop version at the same time, I'm very careful about using one at a time.

If you're participating in the Site-Wide Shiny Hunt, eggs from that species won't count against your shelter grabs. This is explained on the help page.

Oh, thank you! I thought I searched everything on the help page related to shelter grabs and I must have missed that! How in ten years did I never notice this? Oh well, you learn something new every day.
