The Favs

Name: Henry Bell

Age: 13

Hometown: Snowpoint City

Appearance: Henry Bell isn't your average Pokemon trainer. He loves tough contest Pokemon that show their true potential. Because of that, he doesn't wear simply clothing that his parents packed, but clothes he bought himself from a store that he likes and show off his true potential. A pair of earmuffs usually sits on his head, and around his shoulders is a black jacket with a fluffy white collar and sleeve ends. Under, he wears a bright yellow shirt with a picture of a Drowzee. In colder areas, Henry has a pair of thick black boots with brown fluffs around the inside and top, and the brightest yellow shoelaces ever. On most days he wears some yellow gloves. No matter what, Henry is always wearing his jacket, even if he's wearing shorts and sandals. Every night he takes off his jacket and throws on a thinner, cooler one; it is rainbow colored and looks as it if was attacked by a group of Smeargle. Red, blue, yellow, and green completely cover it, with a hood designed to look like the head of a Raichu.

He is average height, not too tall and not too short. Bright blond hair swipes across dark brown eyes, becoming a mess in the back and ending just at his shoulders. For some reason, he finds it hard to get his pale skin any darker, no matter how often he takes his jacket off in the summer. Sometimes his eyes seem to be a little lighter than usual, and other times they seem almost black. His face is still childish and friendly looking, with ears that just slightly stick out. There is a light sprinkle of freckles across his nose. The most important feature about him is his long arms and legs. Just by looking at him you can tell that he is very hyper and caring.

Personality: Despite having come from a cold place, Henry is bright, cheery, and always happy. He has a burning desire to travel and train, and he loves to pick fights with other humans and Pokemon, even if it's just play fights and arguments. Tyrogue, though he recieves less training than most Tyrogue should, admires his trainer's attitude and obnoxious behavior. Henry is always surprised by the fact that he, a wimpy, thin child, has been accepted by such a strong Pokemon, but he hides it and continues to train all the time. Ledyba and Abra are two of his favorite Pokemon, as well as his first starter, and on breaks Henry spends a lot of time grooming them and getting ready for contests. He simply loves it and spends a lot of time doing it, even going as far as to train for days on end, within reason.

It is hard to make Henry sad at all, as he is simply too happy with what he has. He is a goof, and often times he forgets little but important details. Names of friends and family slips his mind a little too much, so he has gotten into the habit of simply calling his Pokemon by their species name, without any nicknames. One of his biggest dreams is to capture a Drowzee, and wishes to capture one sometime in his future; his parents thought he had to be the biggest Drowzee fan, because he had pictures and plushies all around his room of it and Hypno.

Though he doesn’t like many foods all that much, Henry is willing to eat whatever, especially to get his Pokemon to eat. His Pokemon have ended up very picky eaters, following what their trainer does, and the only way they will eat is to see Henry eat. Henry prides himself in knowing that he is very close with his Pokemon at such a short time, but does get a little hot tempered when they don’t listen to him. It is natural with Abra, as he is very young, but Tyrogue and Ledyba are the most disciplined of the group, and always disappoint Henry when they get in trouble with something.

Biography: Henry has lived in Snowpoint for about five years, until he moved to Jilius in Furoh. When he was younger, he would always run around outside even in the cold, and got sick quite often because of that. He spent a few years with a sickness that rendered him useless and dull. It was these years that he spent dreaming about becoming a Pokemon trainer, coordinator to be exact, and became a big fan of Drowzee; he thought that if a Pokemon could eat dreams, he would never have to eat food, and never get food poisoning or sick from anything. When he became better, he ran around all the time outside again, this time with his thick, trademark jacket. As he got older, he kept buying new ones of bigger sizes exactly like the last, and began wearing bright yellow clothing. For his birthdays he would always ask for anything to do with Drowzee or Hypno, and received a special Luxury Ball from his uncle for that moment when he could catch one. To this day he still has not found one, and has made it his goal in life to find, train one to a Hypno, and prove that the ‘adorable’ little Pokemon are not creepy and rather fun to be around- he ‘knows’ because another person in Jilius had one that he always played with. One day, his parents asked why he wanted to become a coordinator instead of a trainer. He replied with, “I want to show off!” Others were confused, as battling can show off Pokemon, but they simply left it at that and let Henry do as he pleased. Henry actually does not really know why he wanted to enter his Pokemon in contests, except the fact that he knows that Pokemon get treated very well, and train extra hard to win those pretty ribbons.

Now, he is wandering around with a Tyrogue, a Ledyba, and an Abra. They are best friends to Henry, and over the past three years, they’ve grown very close. No, they have not battled very much or even really left Jilius, simply walking around outside. Henry has plans of leaving the city and venturing out, having his bag packed. Once he went to another city, but returned to his home shortly. He spends most of his days grooming and training his Pokemon, and has now told himself he is leaving his home once and for all.

And a Golurk

Couple things:

1. Tyrouge can start regularly using High Jump Kick at Lvl 29. It's a pretty powerful move for a starting pokemon. For now, let's say he's still training to use it.

2. Pokemon aren't limited to four moves in this RP. Just putting that out there.

The biscuit's name is...close enough :P.

Approved. Go post in the Current Levels thread. Have fun!
