Only once, but it was one that I like so I'm fine with that. Any other shinies I've gotten on that game are either from breeding or trades.

Once, it was a Shiny Ariados.
Since then, I've never seen a Shiny Pokémon. Although, I haven't played my Diamond in quite a while, been trying to get a Shiny Shuckle on SoulSilver. --------------------        |

I've got a ton of legit shinies from trade/hatching on my Japanese Diamond; too bad I can't find it. Only one I've caught, though, is Giratina. :P
