That's really good to hear - now people can be sure about what they'll get for what they put in. That was the only bad thing about the coin events last year and earlier this year. I look forward to everything that's in store! And let me be the first to thank you and all the staff for everything you've done for the site and its users this year. I don't remember what we got lol -------------------- ~ Becky (aka RoyalEspeon) |

Update on the New Years Raffle:
Everyone will be eligible to receive the distributed prize, but you can increase your chances based on your activity score Sunday (January 1st). The good news is some members have filled up Hatch+, so that will be active tomorrow to help you out! You will receive an additional entry in the raffle for every 2017 points of activity score you have. This means the one-day raffle event will run from Saturday, December 31st at 11:55pm EST until Sunday, January 1st at 11:55pm EST — all of Sunday the 1st, server time. The raffle prize will be distributed at some point after that reset (note that multiple people — hundreds — will be receiving the prize, not just one). Remember, the Hanukkah coin event also ends at the same time: Sunday, January 1st at 11:55pm EST. So Sunday is your last day to rack up some additional coins, more reason to boost that activity score! -------------------- Want a rotating avatar like mine? Check out my website: randimg!

I'd bet all my 500+ Coins there will be one (and only one) Arceus. Aside from that, who really knows? More Volcanion, probably.

Do you have to have an empty slot in your party to receive the raffle prize?

I don't get it, I have hatched numerous gen 1 by now, but still did not get any further coins, am I doing something wrong? Were you also playing the Dreidel game? And I presume the Gen 1 Pokemon you hatched were during the Dreidel event, and not just at any given time? -------------------- |

Are you sure you're not mixing up your "coins today" stat with the "total coins" one? Looking at your profile, I see that you have 22 coins total but only 3 today. -------------------- |

Any news about the hanukkah event prizes yet? Struggling to hold that #15 spot and want to know if its worth it lmao Prizes are probably not changing from last year's so just look at the list from last year. I think it's on page 3 and then you can decide if it's worth it. Prizes from Coins earned from Hanukkah and the Scavenger Hunt Users will receive 1 Scratch Card for every 20 coins collected (maximum of 15 Cards; users with less than 20 coins will still receive 1 Card) Users who collected between 300 and 999 coins will receive a Legend Voucher Plus Users who collected between 1000 and 1499 coins will receive a Shiny Voucher Plus Users who collected 1500 coins or more will receive a Shiny Legend Voucher Plus This post has been edited by Esc: Dec 31 2016, 07:25 PM -------------------- |

It's debated, whether "likely the same as last year" means that the required number if coins will be the same too, or just the prizes themselves.

The amount of coins will probably change. My two cents at least. -------------------- |

I feel like imo if you're going to change the coin amounts you should at least announce it so people can get prepared
I've been hatching eggs for about 8-10 hours a day since it started and I still won't hit 2k coins edit: actually nvm I will I think a lot of it is putting a few coins on the dreidel, although I won't risk that This post has been edited by Gigadweeb: Jan 1 2017, 05:40 AM -------------------- |

Why do people keep ignoring the February event we had as well? That will be a much better indicator of the Coin thresholds: I hope you all enjoyed the 7th Anniversary / Valentine's Day event(s) for February! Prizes for coins have been handed out. For every 60 coins, a scratch card was rewarded, for a max of 15 (and a minimum of 1, if you got at least 1 coin). You would need at least 900 coins to get all 15 scratch cards. 125 users who earned between 900 and 1799 coins received a Legend Voucher Plus. 68 users who earned between 1800 and 3899 coins received a Shiny Voucher Plus. The 12 users who earned more than 3900 coins received a Shiny Legend Voucher Plus. If the limit for the Shiny Legend Voucher Plus was only 1500 coins, then right now thirty-nine users would get them, and likely many more by the end of the day. That's just wishful thinking. -------------------- |

I'm sure hoping that the threshold for shiny legend voucher is 1500 coins instead of getting into the top 12 'cause there's no way I'm making my way into that at this point.
Personally I'm just gonna try to reach 2000 and stop after that, then whatever comes of it will be what it is. -------------------- |

These will not be the prizes. Why do people keep ignoring the February event we had as well? That will be a much better indicator of the Coin thresholds: This is why: [*] Prize information relating to the Coins will be announced later, but likely the same as last year. Why is it so hard to understand, that a lot of people began collecting coins expecting to get a Shiny Legend Voucher if they can get 1500? I do not want to start this discussion again. -------------------- |
