I clicked it and supposedly summoned something but I see no egg that sounds like palkia egg or see any palkia anywhere? I refreshed multiple times as well.. And I read the help section

Then that means you missed it. That doesn't make the item useless though. You could click around a bit to read descriptions so that you'll know for next time.
