I wish he would get a little bit older, at least. It would be cool to see a post-puberty Ash, in my honest opinion xD

I think they make him seem older without actually mentioning it. I mean it's obvious that he's become way more mature since the first season of the show. I remember how much I laughed at him in the much older episodes because of how childish he acted when he didn't get his way. Without even thinking about it, I'd say he acts like a 14 or 15 year old now. He handles everything that happens to him a completely different way than he would have if it had happened in the earlier episodes.
I bet the creators thought of this when they were doing the anime and made him mature slowly but noticeably (: --------------------   |
