Yeah, Eon Flute would probably be the best option in this scenario. But we have to wait for confirmation, also it's not exactly the end of the world since my guy has Pidgeot, which I wonder if you can do the same thing with....

I think they made Mega-Pidgeot quite fabulous, as a matter of fact. That hairdo... the shiny mega-evolution is worth gold-- literally. Also, Thanks AM (since writing your name on a 3DS is plainly asking for typos and horrid/hilarious grammatical mistakes) but I did get he meant that. Guess I just read it with a different meaning, because my mind translates it differently if that extra 'non-' isn't added, but still thank you for going through the effort of explaining it! xD

I think I might change my team's layout a bit... but Spiritomb, Lucario, Dragonite and Luxray are permanent. As well as my personality, which I'll expand soon-ish. Oh yeah, and depending on Larvesta's status (which I hope isn't pseudo-legendary) my entire team's lay-out may change... I'm currently scrolling through all my in-game pokémon parties to see which match-ups are possible. And last but not least, IMPORTANT QUESTION! The battle-mechanics in the roleplay... will they be like the game's or the anime's? Personally, I prefer the anime's, as the difference in strength/willpower can make a pokemon hold out an otherwise 1-hit KO in-game.

The battles will be somewhat like the anime. Of course, without a Pikachu destroying Legendaries, obviously.

Legendaries will appear at certain times, and you are free to attempt to bond with them or even catch them.

Mega stones will be in certain places, all after a certain thing happens in the roleplay.

Also, that character is accepted, and the roleplay can begin at any time.

If I were to guess, it'd either be Waquing Town, the big island in the center, or the Quaros Islands, which apparently have little plot relevance.

I guess that's still a bit of a stretch.

Appearance: He has poofy black hair that hangs into his yellowish eyes, which have dark circles around them thanks to his insomnia. Being a mix of Irish and Spanish, he has olive skin, dirtied by a mix of dirt and soot. Normally, he's decked out in a black turtlenecked tank top, black jeans, red sneakers, and a scorched beige trench coat. He's at an average but also kind of short height, being a little on the pudgy side and 5 foot 6.

Personality: He's pretty bitter and sarcastic, cracking cruel jokes and often playing tricks on people, but has a crippling fear of fire. This makes him uneasy around Clavis, but the fact the flame is contained within itself is a reliever.

Type: Seasoned trainer who is also a detective investigating Team Prime's whereabouts.

Partner: Clavis the Lampent, though he's currently focusing on assisting the Begnew newbies after receiving a Pumpkaboo from Professor Willow.

Final Team: Pumpkaboo ; Chandelure ; Luxray ; Noctowl

"My name is Professor Willow, to those of you that don't know. I am a Pokemon Professor hailing from Norym City! Welcome... to the world of Pokemon!"

In a square in the center of Begnew Town, a woman with short blond hair and green eyes sat, decked out in a buttoned-up lab coat and some boots, holding a large container in her arms. She would soon out names, for the species and owner of the new Pokemon. Everyone had been informed that they were receiving a random Fire, Grass, or Water-type, so they all eagerly awaited the receival of their new Pokemon.

The first name called out was of a stranger, but a close acquaintance of the Pokemon Professor's. He was a detective, who had eagerly volunteered to assist the fledgling trainers in their journey, hoping it would help him get more information on both a study on how battles worked out and on the whereabouts of Team Prime, an infamous organization that recently popped up.

"Drake Mevel! You are getting a Pumpkaboo!" Willow called out, tossing a ball to him. He clicked the button on it, ruffling the small pumpkin Pokemon's fluffy head and looking around with a grin. "This boy will be assisting all of you in your journey. I hope you don't mind him."

"Next up-" Her gaze went to a boy with brown hair, and eyes curtained by shaggy bangs. His mouth held no emotion in it, and headphones were set over his small ears. "--Arthur Cambrook! You are getting a Cyndaquil!" The ball was thrown to him, with the tiniest of a twitch signalling his hidden pleasure at receiving a Pokemon similar in nature to himself.

"And next! Beatriz Cambrook! You are getting a Cherubi!" The ball soared over to the girl, who gleefully embraced her little cherry Pokemon as it popped out.

"Cassidy Descoteaux! You are getting a Deerling!" Another ball went in a teen's direction. "Alois Kneller! You are getting a Cottonee! Aya Zanthenoir! You are getting a Larvesta! William Safire! You are getting a Snivy! McKyla O'Dwyer! You are getting a Chikorita!"

If anyone who isn't actually starting out in Begnew Town was called, please ignore your part of the post. I apologize if I mixed anything up.

Also! The battles will generally lean towards the character's favor if it's a character VS NPC battle, but if your Pokemon are too weak or are at too much of a disadvantage, you might have to go off with a loss. For gym trainers and leaders, I'm fine with you guys typing out your own battles with them, though as soon as a single person enters the gym, I'll be listing off trainers and the leader, as well as their Pokemon and a base personality and appearance for the leader.

If you want a description of any town, route, or other area, please say so when it's needed! I'll be more than happy to describe it.
