This is just a topic to see how you've been lucky to get your ditto.
I was randomly looking through the lab just now. (6:64 pm Server time) and I was going to use my repel at 55, since new eggs appear there. Then, strangly enough, ditto appears. I'm so happy. I've been searching forever, as now I have completed my common egg dex as well. What are your ditto stories? (This IS kind of a random topic, so if not allowed just delete) Edit: I just saw Ditto was laid at 6:30, wonder why it sat there for 24 minutes. Oh well, lucky me

I found my Ditto when I just randomly clicked on the Lab to see what was in there at that time.

I basically had spotted one a few days prior, which was the first ditto in the lab I'd ever seen, and came prepared with repels, and at 10:30 Saturday night this week, I finally got one to appear via repel, was like the happiest moment for me on gpx, as I've been trying to find one for months. Even named it after one of the two dittos duplica had in the anime.

I don't really recall, except that it was when I was stalking the lab for Pokes I didn't have. I guess I just got really lucky.

During the whole big Ditto debate (About it being bred by BB, not making it officially common) I went to the lab on a whim and found one. I'm glad I got one not bred and while it was still officially super-rare in the lab.

I found mine back in August. Imagine my dismay after refreshing it, my joy of finding and obtaining it, and my shock to find out it lasted 10 minutes in there.

I actually had a /dream/ that I found a Ditto in the lab. The next day, I logged on to GPX, did clickbacks. By the time I was done I had only around 15 minutes left on the computer, so I decided to hang out in the lab for a while. Three refreshes later, and guess what I find...
 It lasted in there four minutes. In the afternoon. On a weekend. --------------------        |

I got my Ditto in the lab on April 16th at 2:16 am (it was laid at 2:15 am). Just about two weeks after I joined and a bit before it became common. Needless to say, I was super lucky o.o
Weirdly enough, I haven't seen a ditto since O_O....Even /after/ it became common. I found a Ditto egg that was half hatched in the Shelter. It was an awesome feeling to finally get that one non-Very-Rare-or-Novelty egg that I've been missing, aside from the Unowns. I think it was the only time I actually saw it though. ._.

At the time I was using the Minefield browser(firefox 7 pre-release) and it was constanly updating. Decided to go into the lab to start stalking for Ditto and as soon as I got to the lab my browser yells for an update so I installed the update and when the browser came back up it reloaded the page and sitting there on the far right was my Ditto.
This was back in March when they were still rare. -------------------- |
