I already have an Unown, Unown S, and I have every egg possible other then some legendaries.
Since all Unown have the same Egg description, if I used a Repel, would it reveal a completely different Unown (assuming it does reveal an Unown)? for that matter what would happen if I used a Repel normally? would it just reveal Eggs I've already seen? -------------------- |

Even though unowns have the same egg description - each egg is unique, so using the repel will ONLY reveal unowns you have not previously obtained..
P.S it only reveals eggs you DON'T have in your dex. This post has been edited by kingofjazz: Aug 15 2010, 10:04 PM -------------------- |

So shouldn't constant use of Repel constantly reveal Unown Eggs?

No - Only if an unown appears in the lab..Just got to be lucky when one appears as they aren't common.
Most players don't use repels until they have at least half the unowns, but each to their own. This post has been edited by kingofjazz: Aug 15 2010, 10:18 PM -------------------- |

About that last part - if there's no new eggs in the lab that you don't have yet, you'll just get a message popup saying sorry, there's no eggs to be shown. And as was already pointed out, its not like constant repelling would = constant unowns, they're not real common and they get snatched up quickly, so you have to get lucky to even be there at the right moment |

The Repel doesn't make eggs appear, it merely shows the ones you don't have, among the ones currently present.
And even if there is nothing new to show, the Repel will be used, meaning "constant use of Repel" would cost you a fortune... ^^' -------------------- |

You will see other Unown except Unown S if you use a Repel.
Each type of Unown have different egg even though they look the same and have the same description. -------------------- |
