Since yesterday, I have Google Chrome 28 (Version 28.0.1500.52 m), and GPX+ Notifier doesn't work anymore on it (the notifications doesn't appear).
A bit frustrating, I don't know when my eggs are ready when I'm clicking.
Can you do something for it?

Was about to post something about this.. I'm glad I found this, first.

But yes, I was also wondering why things weren't working (I even clicked update a few times to make sure, removed some extensions etc.)

The only time the notifier seems to work is when I log out and log back in again (I get updates about literally everything pop up) but after that, nothing does.

Hmm...even that doesn't push anything out for me, it's really upsetting.

Mine doesn't seem to work either. It was working fine a couple of hours ago/yesterday (can't remember which), but suddenly I stopped getting notifications. I had to delete and re-install it to get it to update, but it hasn't changed since.
It also updates whenever I start up my computer again. But it doesn't update again until I turn it off and on again.

It seems there were some changes in the latest version pertaining to notifications, though it isn't clear to me how this would affect the extension. Investigating, yup yup.

EDIT: I just uploaded an updated that slightly changed how it works, so I imagine everything will be okay now. You should automagically receive the update within the day, yup yup.

Could you make the new notifications go away after x seconds, maybe ?

I totally second this, it is annoying to have to manually close them each time... Thank you for your work!

It only shows me some updates, like weather and day care eggs, but not new trinket chests and hatchable eggs. Any ideas how I could fix that?

Never-mind. It works now. Would still be nice if the notices disappeared after a while though.

I'm not seeing any option about how to change the time notifications stay up for.

All I see in options is Disable notifications options. Am I missing it?

I still have a problem with notifications. I have the option "Always display notifications", but they appear only for a short moment - I'm not even able to read them.

I have the same problem as Nikkas. The notifications just flash by and disappear.

Same problem here. I'll see a flicker in the corner of my screen, and it's gone. And whatever's been flickering on my screen doesn't show up in the notification list if I click the GPXPlus Notifier icon either. It seems to only show whatever notifications were up the last time I opened Chrome.

Seems, this is the Chrome problem. The same happens with Gmail notifications.
Seems, they (the chrome team) constantly update the notification feature, so it never works good for some reasons...
I don't know...
