Interesting that you don't count Groudon/Kyogre/Rayquaza or Dialga/Palkia/Giratina among the "trios."

They arent the trio's im talking about. Trios are all pretty much the same (ex Regi: Rock/Ice/Steel

It's a tie between the Legendary Birds and the Legenardy Dogs for me. Kanto/Johto gens, ftw.

I'm not much for the Regis. Uxie, Mespirit, and Azelf are okay, but definitely don't compare to the Birds and Dogs.

I chose dogs since they're the first legendaries I encountered ever. But if the Weather or the Dragon trio were there I would choose the Dragon Trio (Go Dialga/Palkia/Giratina!)

The first two gens have such bland legendaries, thought Articuno is beautiful(not good enough to make up for Zapdos...uggg), and the only member of the Lake Trio I really like is Uxie.

Defiantly the birds. I love the originals and I grew up with them. Plus I love all of them and I think their names are clever. ArticUNO, ZapDOS, molTRES
Plus, unlike the dogs, they have two types
I love the dogs but no where as near as the birds.
I hate the Regis and the Spirits.

Actually the Dialga-Palkia-Giratina trio is called the Dragon Trio... .___.;;

I like the Weather Trio (Groudon-Kyogre-Rayquaza) because it's totally a trio and I don't like the other ones much. Except birds. Legendary birds are awesome.

They are cats.
Raikou is a tiger, Entei is a lion, and Suicune is a leopard. I don't see how people can see them as dogs...

The three legendary cats are my favorite.

The pixies are barely different from eachother, all the same type and everything, which make me think they suck.

The birds and dogs however, i love them both. I would say that they both (Or all six >_>) is sharing the 1st place.

The regi's comes befoere the pixies, because they are aweosme in their own way.

the Golum (regi) trio for me. Also, the trio you consider to be dogs, are the legendary beasts, not Dogs or Cats (sorry, but it gets on my nerves when people call them dogs or cats)
